This is a perfect example of how your surroundings influence you. The guy went from only needing one cheap daily, to buying a "cooler" daily, to realizing now he has 3 cars and 1 parking spot... Edit: and none of them work...

You clearly watch the channel often don't you, Shahrukh... This is what some would define as 'Entertainment'. I don't recall the reference to the 1 parking spot. I'll have you know Taylor & Alex are happily married and live on a very large farm in the Cotswolds, surrounded by acres of land for all of their cars P.S. Rory is their love-child.

I love how he mentioned the failed ABS pump while Alex was driving. It was the choice between admitting a fault on the car he bought and ending up in a wreck.
Not to mention a new ABS pump is worth as much as the car

Had a convertible till last year was probably the best car I owned 😭 easy to work on and parts are quite cheap because of e46
Alex saying "Let me do it for you" after that screech from Rory gave me a good long laugh. same with the frantic parkour in Taylors office. These videos are giving me good laughs and makes my days brighter :) really enjoyable content.
I’m glad mine and Rory’s adventure at 11pm was worth it for the mini 😂

Include Rory more, he’s a good character and he’s now definitely a car guy. Also we learnt that Taylor has absolutely no idea of where places are, he reminds me of my lady. We was meant to go to Devon, with her directions we ended up in Cornwall

This has become one of my favourite car channels and it's because the cars don't really matter. It's the chemistry, the banter, enthusiasm and unique personalities that matter. This channel has it all :)
But they are still very enthusiastic about the cars themselves which you cannot but watch!

Borla makes a very nice system for N52s that gives you a nice balanced sound and it doesn't deafen you when you daily it. I have it on my E90 328i and I love it!

Right so Rory has the z4 and Taylor has the mini... I think Alex needs a new 1500 pound shit box and then we get a challenge going! Could be something grand like a drive from London to the Swiss alps or just a bang around living with challenge where the boys do everyday things like get groceries, gas mileage, towing capacity, 0 to 60 to 0, laps around the track etc

When this video popped up, I thought 'oh god here we go, buying rather than fixing again...' but actually that was really entertaining! Rory should be on camera more often, he's really funny and you 3 work as well together as Clarkson, Hammond and May in my opinion.
I was surprised that none of the mobile phones got smashed when you jumped on the table and then rolled onto Taylor lol. Awesome stuff guys. PS - My Astra Twintop turbo failed the other day, engine went whirrrrrrrrr, lots of smoke out of the back and then a higher pitch when I pulled over, followed by boom.... oil on the floor and on the engine. Alas, it is going to be taken apart by someone next week and I am on the lookout for another car now. Sigh......

Cracking purchase, I can testify to the 43mpg, also underside looked cleaner than mine I sold last year with 90k on and those seats are worth 1k so it's a steal.
I've had many a car and the Z4 coupe was by far my favourite. So engaging and fun. Watching this has bought back fond memories. Need to rush out and buy one now!

Watching videos like these when living in NL can be hard to digest at times. Been living here for close to a year and a half now and all I can say is, apart from the ease of transfer of ownership through the RDW, this has got to be one of, if not THE worst countries to be a car enthusiast.
@MrPrajitura Prices are equally f*cked almost anywhere in Europe to be honest. Polish 2nd hand prices are comparable to those in The Netherlands, yet the people earn 4.8x less on average. Groeten uit Zeist.

I've had the same N52 engine in a 130i. Extremely reliable engine, and such a lovely motor to live with.
When you're selling this in a month, I'd be all over it 😂. Also great choice with the mini

My mk1 Z4 convertible is still the car I regret selling the most- not the fastest, not the most well built ( a lot of rattles and squeaks, 2 failed roof motors in 4 years), definitely not practical in any way but it's the one that felt special to get in every time, it sounded brilliant and still looks great- particularly in that coupe style. Just a really unique design and definitely among the best of the Chris Bangle era.
I’ve just spent £13k on my first ever nice daily, always bought cheap scrap beforehand. This video makes me want to ditch the nice car immediately and get back into the murky sub £2k world again, brilliant!
