The fourth game was honestly really refreshing, it was sweet and cozy, while also being spooky and unsettling, it didn't try to go over the top with some type of monster hunting you, or anything like that, you were just a kid in a mall who didn't know their way around, and thats how it felt.
It was my favorite one for those reasons. I also really liked the art style with the characters, that artist should make a cartoon
yeah, and you also got to totally make a few people's days. very nostalgic
I would recommend playing it yourself, there's a lot of secrets in the closed shops and by doors that Mark missed himself. I also don't know what happens if you get minimum gifts or anything

I personally feel like the Gmod mod, Lidar did it better tbh. Especially since you can go on maps that you’re familiar with gm_construct knowing you’re playing single-player and then finding someone unexpectedly
Well he has a powerwash simulator addiction so using the big scan was kinda " too overpowered " for him

Is nobody gonna talk about the fact that Mark said a completely right side up cross was upside down at 20:15 😭, I know it's usual for horror games to put them upside down but it most definitely was facing the right way
I laughed at this too, but im guessing his intention behind saying that was to refer that from his perspective (for example someone who worships the devil) a right side up cross would look upside down to them. I loved the fact that it made my eyes open wide and question if it was truly a joke hahah

@Shrek my understanding is that the lidar is some sort of tool for blind people to see and the people you see walking around are researchers, not sure how it ties into the scare at the end though

The last game is literally me and my friends getting trapped in a mall because we forgot to check the time. It was pretty late and empty. The only person we ran into in act of total desperation to find any open exit, was a security dude, who didnt help us, but instead, he made fun of us. Truly the Security Man of all time

I love how Mark immediately recognizes the Tropical Diner as the Rainforest Café! That was my favorite place to eat as a kid. As someone who also has ADHD, I had to go to Nashville just to see a doctor there, and every time we were there, we'd go to the Opry Mills Mall and eat at the Rainforest Café. This video makes me want to go back there again. I haven't eaten there since I was in Highschool.
Usually I enjoy the scary edits and don't actually get scared by them, but somehow, while I was watching another CS-tv video, this one stated playing without me knowing. I swear it hadn't come up in a separate window or below where I was watching so I couldn't see it but I could hear it and because of the mall edit at the start, I started frantically searching my tabs wondering what on earth I had managed to do, thinking I was being hacked and I reacted by closing everything down. Now I've watched the video, I know it was this! You finally got me; I was scared out of my skin!

Lidar reminds me of a cave exploration game in which you use the same kind of tool to reveal the environment. I don't remember the name of it, but I think Mark may have played it within the past few years
