  • I love how much this series embodies the idea of creativity. Back when Alan created the Chosen One, he did so consciously and with clear purpose: a good animated fight. His origins can't be traced back to any intrinsic value found in the medium of animation, but to violence and combat. He was born in destruction, and thus became a *god* of destruction. But, at the very least, you can make the argument that The Chosen One exists for more than just fighting, as he eventually loses interest in and actively starts advocating against internet-wide conquest. Despite that hesitance, however, we don't see any instances of things *he* created in the 9 year timespan between AvA III and V. He doesn't create, nor does he take pleasure in destruction. He simply *is.* So, what happens when you create something whose only purpose is to destroy a destroyer? You get The Dark Lord. The Dark Lord *never* lost his original will. He *never* grew bored of the slaughter. If anything, he *optimized* it, polished it to a mirror sheen in the form of the ViraBots, and hoped to stomp the rest of the web into dust beneath his feet. He *did* contribute something in that 9 year span, yes... but only something he could use to further spread misery and decay. And then there's The Second Coming. Created by complete accident by Alan when he was just trying to animate an orange stick figure. The only one of the three who can directly draw his roots to a creative purpose. Not only that, but he's also the first stick figure who we see creating living animations. (The Victim made copies of himself, and TCO, alongside TDL, never used the draw tools or anything in the animation software for anything but weapons.) There is a very creative soul in TSC, with an imagination beyond anything any of the other stick figures are capable of, even if the full extent of that imagination is lost to him save when he is in dire need of it. So in the end, it's not The Chosen One who defeats the Empowered Dark Lord, or Red, Blue, Yellow and Green, who started existence absentmindedly fighting each other before TSC showed them what was beyond the webpage. It's The Second Coming. Born in creativity, with a love for the art of animation. The only thing that can defeat the purest of destroyers is the purest of creators. (Or I could just be overthinking all of this and Alan just wanted to draw cool stick figures fighting in very creative ways. :P)

  • Alan Becker and his team could probably make a movie if they had more money. Absolute masterpiece, 10/10.

    • Сагласен

    • Imagine what he could make with 10 mils worth of funding and 2 years.

    • they kinda did.....

    • @Hanson Tech & Stuff while they technically did, i'm talking about a high budget 90 minute film with a team and soundtrack. imagine that

    • @Paddy Oh yessssssssss

  • I really love how this episode included the idea of allowing even the Animator to help in combat by being the Mouse and utilizing the skills it has.

    • Even the left mouse click works good

    • 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

    • @Senixargg :Di can play snake lol

    • the mouse has been used in every episode thats why its called animator vs animation lol

    • @Senixargg :D I can do that too lmao 🗡️ 👴🟥🟥🟥🟥 🟥🟥🟥

  • This series is a great example of 'show don't tell'. There's no dialogue, spoken or typed, unless it's absolutely necessary, yet you can still follow the story easily.

  • Im honestly so excited for season 2 of this, based off the teaser I already know its gonna be as good as this one

  • even without dialogue or voices, the pure talent and imagination of this is immaculate and exquisite, I dont think ive ever seen someone animate like this, you are so amazing and you definitely deserve way more attention with your masterpieces!

  • The storytelling even without a single word spoken is just beyond incredible. And the part where Red, Green, Yellow, and Blue were being picked off and the body language just shows how heartbroken they are, it hits so hard. Truly a masterpiece of animation.

    • Do you remember subspace emissary from brawl? Same stuff there. Can we get this guy to make a smash story mode?

    • The side characters need a bit more personality imo. There really just there to get beat up most of the time, and if each one of them had something to set them apart and their own time to shine, that would be great

    • @Colonel Popcorn the side characters, red blue green and yellow? When they weren’t explained in animation vs animator IV, they were most definetly explained in the Animation vs Minecraft shorts. If you haven’t already watch those ones because they give a lot of depth to the characters and their personalities

    • True

    • @LuceoftheWest Yeah that part helped us know what their interest or own talents are.

  • Animation studios should be fighting to hire this man

    • i read animan studios bruh 💀💀💀💀

  • TSC isn't just a great animator (and an artist) but also a great AI programmer. Those animating stickmen didn't hesitate to be deleted and were most obedient. If Alan had a small fraction of this power, The Chosen One wouldn't have destroyed his PC.

    • I'm surprised after two weeks nobody replied to this and is this dude @uncolored is completely right

    • I'm still surprised how

    • @Markie Kruse same actually

    • I noticed that too

    • Good thing Alan couldn't or we wouldn't have this.

  • I love how mundane it is from Alan's perspective.

  • This looks like something out of an anime. I don't have words to describe it. And seeing the mouse from the computer screen as well as the actual fight is incredible.

    • Tbh most anime fights don’t even look this good.

    • @alexis dogbo 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂 you serious?!

    • @GearHeadDave obviously anime has more details' but most fights other than some notable ones don't have nearly as imaginative fights.

    • @GearHeadDave most of them are just Use an attack, chit chat for a good 20 seconds then the other person uses another attack and stuff, it's all slow and shit and not as intense as they are just explaining on how their attacks work and how to avoid it and shit which is dumb

    • Nah its better than anime

  • I remember seeing Animator vs. Animation in the earliest days of CS-tv many, many years ago. In fact it was one of the first CS-tv videos I ever saw. And just now I'm discovering that such an amazing world of animation spanning two decades was born from those humble beginnings. This is some really incredible animation and story telling, and I hope the story and universe continues long into the future.

  • Its crazy how Alan Becker took a simple concept like stickmen and turned it into something incredible

    • Not to mention that, but it looks like Sc took a hammer and then banged the virabot

    • I love alan becker’s animations so cool to see him grow alot and he is almost at 20M subscribers LETS GET THERE

    • Yeah, it's pretty simple to watch. I remember I watched it from 2020 (or maybe 2021)

    • @elliesxofc you just gained a new sub

    • @Breaking_Walt thanks

  • That took me on a wild emotional roller coaster. Better story writing than most of Hollywood and with no dialogue. Simply amazing, well done.

  • honestly this deserves so much more attention and likes. the effort and time put into this is insane and this guy has a great talent

  • Amazing job Alan! Your animating has improved so much over the years!

  • 26:03 this is the best scene by far! All of them wanting to help each other and the chosen one. I like how TDL did not kill them immediately but fought with them, just to show them they are nothing compared to him, that this will be their last realization they made in their lives. I like the way alan made TSC. That his powers unlock only when he sees his loved one die. This happened in AVA IV too, when alan deleted his friends, he was glitching into the chosen one. Edit: i forgot to tell the fact that we thought he was just natural at this point, until this episode. That he cannot even control his own powers because they are just too op for him to own. How he immediately fell down and fainted when he stopped using his powers

    • Basically The Second Coming has the ultra instinct but hasnt mastered it yet

    • @Uncanaldejuegos Ye

    • The passing out thing reminds me of Aang from ATLA when he was still new to using the Avatar State.

    • Note that TSC lost his consciousness after awakening his true powers, hence why he was confused when TCO bowed down to him.

  • Your animation is truly nice especially for fight sequences. I suggest you to be an animator of any anime. Truly this is a masterpiece. Back when my lil brother was slightly small I would show him this.. he literally got nostalgic vibes back when he watched this masterpiece.

  • A masterpiece created like this should have over a billion views. Respect.

  • Everything about this animation is perfect. Even included a sideways point of view just to add on top of it, greatest animation I've ever seen

  • Just realized why The Second Coming and The Chosen One weren't deleted by The Dark Lord's blades. It is because Red, Green, Blue, and Yellow are actually from a website, not drawn by Alan. But stick figures drawn by Alan are immune to being deleted, probably because the blades deleted internet-related masses. Also, any stick figures drawn by Alan have powers, maybe signifying the power of animation.

    • Yeah, animation not to make a game, but to make'em live

    • But Vrabot was able to delete the scribble around it.

    • @superJK92 Well probably stick figures only get the power The drawing just isn't god's work

    • Victim. He is returning in Episode 2 of VI.

    • Do you think Victim has secret superpowers like TSC?

  • I love how the chosen one remembers all the torture hes gone threw but still loves alan for creating him.

  • hey dude! another year of making great content, i've been following the series ever since i was a little guy, and it's even better than the video before i love your content, and i genuinely hope it never ends, it's always nice to go back to the old videos :D

  • After so many years........ Also, DAMN!!!!! Your animations have gotten epic man. The perspective eye laser, and that slam into the water where you see the void open and close back up. Serious attention to detail. Mad, mad props from a viewer of the very first stickman in the long ago. Hope you're doing well, man. [internet fist bumps] Now, lets go yell at kids to go get off our lawns while complaining about our hips ;p

  • I swear, only Alan can make a mouse cursor have such a diverse skillset. Alan Becker's cursor for Smash Bros

    • Alan Cursor vs Master Hand?

    • Yes

    • Lol hahaha

    • They already added Steve. Adding The Second Coming or the cursor would be really cool

    • *Wee uu wee uu wee uu* A new foe has appeared

  • How is it possible to animate this well?! It’s so good! 11/10

  • The fight scenes, story lines, animation, and everything about this is the most amazing thing I’ve seen this year

  • I can already guess how proud of them you would be for helping get rid of the virus if this was real

  • Alan can get the most simple thing and turn into something amazing, impressing, and fantastic.

  • From 1 singular Stickman to a 30 episode series. How far have we gone.

  • Alan: Draws a stick figure for fun Stick figure 13 years later:

  • Absolutely incredible. 17:44 is such an amazing shot.

  • props to this guy, one of the most creative animators out there

  • Is it just me who thinks this should be a full movie

  • Alan could've played a massive part in beating TDL, if he just held him and maniacally just swerved around the cursor into trees, the ground, whatever. He could've carried the battle.

  • We don't talk about how all of this started over a stick figure. Masterpiece.

  • I like how the "silence speaks a thousand words" philosophy is the biggest plot of the movie. Makes the depth of it stand out like a grand old tree in the meadow. Stunning

  • Saw this after a year. The fights never get old! 🔥

  • I LOVE the part where Alan right clicked over TDL, just gave me the chills seeing cool parts that are the best.

  • Alan and his team you all are pure legends. The way you formulated the story, step by step, makes it a masterpiece. Giving orange some mystical powers is like amazing. I curiously wait for the next season. 👍👍👍

  • The definition of art.

  • Damn, forgot about these animations. Amazing that you hit it big since the first part.

  • Morale of the story: don’t mess with stick figures that have open heads

    • Moral of century

    • The big head isn’t hiding the big brain... *it’s pure power*

    • They're too open minded for us to handle

    • Bubbleheads

    • Yes

  • Can we just appreciate the fact that the stickmen can run 150 meters in 9 seconds? At 25 minutes and 24 seconds, they are still in the house and at 25 minutes and 33 seconds they are at the platform.

  • Considering the newest video Alan has released it seems that TSC probably still has that power but it takes so much for it to actually activate that they can’t do it at will Can’t wait for the all the epic showdowns in the future season :3

    • His movements seems lifeless and robotic in that state, it's like autopilot. It's terrifyingly cool

    • Orange doesn't remember himself being in that form (which I've come to call TSC as sort of an alternate personality, whilst normal Orange is just Orange) which is why he just shrugs after TCO bows to him. Alan said I believe on AVG once that the beating had woken something inside of him, so it definitely isn't something he just has available at all times

    • @Vaingloriant yes I know

    • @Naisan Sama I KNOW RIGHT

    • Ultra instinct

  • This is literally better than most movies in my opinion

  • Ur animations never disapoint us keep the good work!

  • His work is on a different level it’s insane

  • The only CS-tvr from the old days that never lost his touch.

  • Man i almost was moved at some point, it's amazing to see the evolution of this series, great work!

  • I LOVE IT SO MUCH. All of the action was amazing and I could watch this movie all day and all night do more of this stuff please

  • Even if I only skip to rewatch TSC's wham-jam against TDL, I still get teary-eyed when he reunites with his bros. This animation is truly a gift

  • I rlly admire Alan for making this. It’s very detailed, it’s all that! Tbh this is the best thing I have seen in my life :)

  • This is one of the best animations I watched keep it up!

  • Stick figures are for amateurs and beginners. *Alan:* Hold my mouse.

  • These fights have better choreography than most anime fights

  • Nostalgia hits harder then anything❤

  • I never expected this adventure, which started years ago, to reach this point, both the animation and the story, it has reached a very different level, and I think it is very nice that it reminds me of the matrix movie.

  • Great work, Alan!

  • I can’t trust amazing animations like this or I’ll go hyperactive!

  • Everyone: Talking about how great the animation is Me: Man, this guy has some impressive mouse aim-

    • he is probably a player of osu!

    • @Vinicius Hoyer best part is that he played it on the animators VS games Channel i think

    • Levi Russell looks like someone doesn't know his Rhythm games

    • Indeed

    • Levi Russell a game sooooo dificult of music

  • You have skills, my guy. This was immaculate. You're gifted

  • This animation is great, and long too. It must've taken a long time to make.

  • my man, you never let me down. Great job.

  • Hey Alan, I'm not going to lie, but this has got to be the greatest animation you've ever made! I gave that a 10/10 rating. You also get 1 like from me for that. Keep up the good work!

  • Anyone else come back constantly just to rewatch the final battle? I'm looking forward to when SC masters his new powers

  • This man deserves a award for “Best Animation On CS-tv” This was truly the best animation!!!

    • Yes

    • Bruh did you just predict the comment I was about to use

    • Yea

    • He is amazinggggggg

    • Not the best animation, but the best Storyline. I agree his animations are Spectacular but there are better Animators, no disrespect though.

  • That's the best history for ever. Congratulations for all the animators and Alan for this ❤❤

  • Wow Alan, you never cease to amaze me

  • Although this got a WHOLE lotta attention , this is almost MOVIE level. INCREDIBLE

  • Блин, это шикарный анмимационный блокбастер, смесь аниме и фэнтези, шикарно)

  • This man should have a movie.

  • Alen Becker: the only person who can put emotion into stick figures without faces

  • This series starts 15 years ago Look how good it is

  • I love how he somehow just made Stickmen one of the most epic things ever

  • I couldn't animate this good if I tried...

  • I am a huge supporter Alan I have been watching your channel since you had 2 million subs. You have over 10x the subs now and 10x the video quality! Pixar made the biggest mistake, not letting you in. I bet they regret their decision every time they animate! You are one of the best animators, Alan, and many other animators look up to you!

  • Wow. It's been 2 years. Time goes really fast.

  • The animations for this mini film went sicko mode: passed from a simple sticknoodles animation to a almost 3d animation with epic effects. great job alan, you, and your team created a masterpiece.

    • You could even say they went Sticko Mode

    • @Nathanael Quimby LMAO

    • Yeah

    • That’s exactly what I was just telling myself lmao

    • Watching the credits. He hired few of the most amazing and famous animators of the Internet, getting a másterpiece like this was almost secure.

  • 結末が分かっててもアニメーションのレベルが高すぎて、ついつい見ちゃうんだよねぇ~

  • Omfg I didn't know this animation existed!!! I had goosebumps during the fight scenes, this was AMAZING. The animation, the music, the sound effects, everything! Wow, I still remember the first Animator vs Animation back in the days, I couldn't imagine how that would have turned out.

  • The animation is so good that you can hear them talk when they're not

  • You make such good content ❤

  • i remember when i was younger and i watched this, i still watch it every day for nostalgia.

  • No facial expressions but more emotions than the most movies.

  • this masterpiece should be considered a movie

  • This has to be the best stick figure animation ever. It looked like stick figure anime.

  • How does he animate these so good

  • It’s very subtle but at 10:26 you can see the monitor slightly shake as each explosion happens. Such a cool tiny detail.

  • 9:25 love how they just start bowing down to him like he's god or something

  • Huge props to the Cameraman for surviving that. He's a real champ.

    • Lol

    • Cameraman is the eighth stick figure

    • The camera man is purple stickman lol

    • Eternal Creeper actually I’m pretty sure he is white

    • @Dark Werewolf exe Nah, it’s probably Henry stickmin

  • I really wish some of the JP animation companies saw this and recreated this into anime but keep the sound effects and the music.

  • these animations are a gem

  • the bits where they help eachother, makes me think of what AI will be like in a few years

  • This is my favorite animation by far by Alan.

  • Honestly after seeing this, I want Alan Becker to make a movie for Netflix or something. Honestly surprised a channel named after their real name is popping off (no offense)

  • I love these animations, it's very hard to give characters personality without having them speak, and making stick figures have personality is on a completely different level. You are a master of your craft

  • Thank you for such an interesting animation

  • Who knew that a couple of stickmen could have such amazing fight scenes?!

  • This is a true masterpiece the story is Just perfect!
