  • She’s not a dark person. She makes music for people in dark places.

    • V

    • She makes music for the depressed people that keeps them depressed which keeps them coming back to her music. Hmmm

    • @Weemz Gamez girl what. i hope your joking.

    • I love her closeness with her family. Yeah she makes money. But she still is at home even tho she has money to move out. So the good thing is she can help her parents pay bills whether they need it or not. I love the closeness in the family and she makes music with her brother and their not competitive. They happily work together and enjoy it.

  • They are obsessed with music and not with fame. And that’s what makes them so great.

  • billie: has a normal teen bedroom also billie: wears gucci and costom made clothes

    • Billie has said in a couple interviews that the clothes she wears, she’s doesn’t buy. They are all a gift or have been given to her in a way

    • And?

    • @Torrent Fiend That guitar is a ukulele and its made by Fender and styled by B. O'CONNELL and Gucci. Yours for 236 euro.

    • That's fake, Canal Street stuff, I used to buy them for chicks back in the day.

    • @Sayesha’s World they aren't buying Gucci wardrobes. Lol. She is sponsored by Gucci so they give all of it to her for free because every time people see her wearing their brand it's free advertisement for the company. So they just let her wear whatever she wants to interviews and everything all over the place. Pretty sweet deal. Infinite wardrobe for a teenage girl from a company like Gucci and they get free advertising in return.

  • This looks like an interview from the early 2000’s and I love it

  • “I’m sitting in my brothers room” And with that, Halley’s Comet was born.

  • Interviewer was so respectful, a rare sight nowadays.

    • you are definitely right. Hope there'll be more interviewers like her in the future.

    • Smoke DMT

    • Yea

    • @A Jacqueline Now in 2021 she's wonderful to her new look 💛check out on the video "lost cause".

  • baby billie is so cute! that ending when she was clapping for herself melts my heart

  • the most humble singer with this huge amount of fame and respect. It's Billie.

  • Baby Billie "woo hoo"ing and clapping for herself is the most wholesome thing I've ever seen, and I freaking can't

  • She’s not dark at all! I’ve seen her with fans and she’s so nice

  • breaks my heart to see people look at this young girl and tell her that she’s “faked depressed” or “doing it for attention”.. people hurt. she hid this from her fans for yeeeeaaars and finally we have a young teen talking openly about mental health struggles, that is so important to other young people.

    • @Elene Maziashvili OMG ILY!!! Also, she has asthma 🥺💔

    • Thats her ticket

    • @BlvckFire TrvpFire how, she literally talk about actual problems about mental health and give more awareness to it

    • @JJ Thomas

  • She's a beautiful soul, we must protect her at all costs!!!

  • the tears in her eyes when she talks about her past depression breaks my heart man she doesn't deserve any of it

  • Billie should be treated as a National treasure.

  • I think it’s funny how they both thought they were terrible when they were younger because they thought their other sibling sounded better 😂

  • This goes to show you can't judge somebody by the bright green dye in their hair. LOL I am pleasantly surprised that she seems so down to earth. I hope everything works out for her.

    • But why does her hair have to do with anything 🤨

    • I hope it's at least true that she is not Satanic.

    • @Lego Lover Dont let other people define you dude.

  • i love her. she’s so authentic. props to her parents for letting her brother and her explore and express their creativity while providing stability and keeping them grounded.

  • I think this is just so beautiful. The bond her and her brother have 😩

  • Billie's beauty is so natural and her personality so down-to-earth and unpretentious, it's refreshing!!

  • I think Billie just loves her house so much, she'll never want to move out of it

    • @idk Extended families used to be the norm, and America was better for it.

    • @apocalypstick how is she abusing her family? She already moved out and it’s not a bad thing that she still lived with her family at 18.

    • @idk yeah but some people at her age still haven’t moved out. It’s not a bad thing.

    • @idk lol my apologies

  • Who’s here after “Happier Than Ever” release?? They play the ending of “Halley’s Comet” at 6:10

  • I adore you Billie Eilish, such an inspiration. I love your authenticity. I am 47 years old and relate to your music. I think that speaks volumes for your ability to connect.

  • I'm glad she's got a big brother to look after her

  • Billie: “i just said my shoes are off my hair comes down” Interviewer: “But it sounded so pretty 👁👄👁”

  • I am so glad that she seems to have a wonderful support group. That her brother can protect her, her parents. That she's not under the influence of awful producers. That said, If she needs a big sister to beat someone up for her and make sure she doesn't get into too much trouble. I got you boo.

    • @Julia Ortiz hello beautiful how are you doing today my dear fan, and thanks for your support 💖

    • omg i feel u i’m a fan but also as someone older than her (not that much i’m just lorde’s age) i feel so protective like i just want her to b safe and content she’s got mad older sisters all over the world that got her back

    • @Sam spill it Sam!!!

    • @Varvara Kisel that's nothing new, he types like he knows more...

  • I love her honesty, and I love their duo! Something about them is very refreshing to see. They just love music and aren't fazed by all the fame crap.

  • My opinion ocean eyes is one of the most beautiful songs she's ever made I can't believe she's only thirteen on track! There's so much death and track! There's so much depth and feeling and real true from the heart pain attached to the lyrics and her singing in this songs. I'm very protective of this song because it's kind of telling a story of something that I went through myself I know exactly what it's like to be in love with a man who has ocean eyes Beautiful Lengths blue feet and mysterious and to be left behind by him as well with no real reason and after taking the time to start to really trust him. Heartbreaking when I heard this the first time I cried so hard I didn't realize I still cared that much! I really wish she knew how important of a part that song has blade in my life and in helping me heal and I am 41 right now I turn 42 this year and Billie's music has gotten me through some pretty bad times. I also highly related to the song xanny. Lived that one too been there done that so for her so for her age she's been through a lot and that's where that d e p t h comes from.

  • i really love her music. a lot of my favorites are also the ones that make me feel the saddest, but mostly because I relate to them. and the sudden sweep of sadness or darkness is because I block out the things that I'm stressed over, the stuff that eats at me, and i don't even mean to block it out.

  • It’s so comforting to have someone who kinda knows what it’s like to not feel good. To feel bad. It’s helpful to so many people

  • The fact that Billie is really rich and could afford a really nice house but she still decided to stay in the house she grew up in that looks really cramped in just melts my heart Edit: yeah ok she's just turned 18 I get that but I was just saying this also if Billie wanted to move out wouldn't their parents agree since they'd always support her don't come at me please if u have something to say don't get all mad I'm only saying

    • Go watch her documentary u will see the role of hr parents

    • I think it's silly, even low-income people try to make their houses beautiful and well organized. They live in a cramped house because they want to, it's silly, it's not "humble" ¿?

    • @Meghan Helmich im 26 and she is hella young.

    • @Jay M not safe bruh cause she got no security

    • newmennium yhhh same here

  • Sings about pain, sadness, losing ppl, and harming her self. seems like a really happy person

    • @leajl actually no I wasn't if u had a sense of humor then maybe u wood get it but other than that I can't help u 2 understand so just move on

    • @Peace and love BO “I didn’t say she wasn’t” Sorry sir but you were obviously saying it ironically

    • I think it doesn't end good when she sings o ly sad songs

    • Yeah, Fans like my suicidal niece listen to billies music. True facts

    • @lixfqiry I didn't say she wasn't

  • I love how humble she is...That’s what makes her special

  • She’s unique. She was a teenager, still haven’t had lived yet. She’s still super young and I’m sure she’s figuring herself out. I love her and she’s very talented. Her brother too!

  • this doesn’t even feel like an interview anymore. the interviewer and billie and finneas seem like friends

  • respect finneas always, he is a true gem

    • @Kramer Silver agreed

    • @Adrian Polasky Not a high bar to clear

    • @Franco Ruffini he’s a producer. His talent is different but he’s far more talented than Billie Eilish imo

    • I think all the work and efflrt are by phineass and the talent and the "sprinkle" from Billie

    • How? His production sucks, he's got trash view on the industry...Remind me who planted these people in our faces in the first place.

  • I live , love , love , love Billie . I forget how young she is when I listen to her sophisticated lyrics and the way she Carry’s herself is so mature. Billie is just so talented . I never stop being Impressed .

  • Eu tenho tanto orgulho dessa mulher ❤❤❤❤❤ I am so proud of this woman

  • I’m 46 and I love Billie and she’s not dark at all! My kids love her too!

  • I used to think this of billie, exactly I thought she was a dark person and that's way I didn't like her,but now I got to know who she really is and she is not dark, she is a beautiful and special person

  • she’s not lying though most people that don’t know much about her think she’s only a depressed teenager when she’s more than that

    • I think she’s had depression ever since she was 13 and people with depression have it for the rest of their lives but they have a way of hiding it and containing it. Also, Billies very transparent with her family and fans that in her documentary, when she was writing, “listen before I go,” her mom asked if she really wanted to jump of the roof and she nodded her head “yes!” I’m makes me sad to see Billie in that state of mind but shes “Happier Than Ever” now and I hope she stays in that state of mind because i honestly don’t know what I’d do if she ended it.

    • Aren't we all more than that.

    • @Johnson Family yeah thank god for that

    • @TJ yeah I know that I meant to say, and she's recovering from depression thank God but yea

    • @Johnson Family it’s different from being depressed and actually having depression. People just called her a depressed teen because they said she was tryna fake it

  • Listen, I’m 45 and find her music to be relatable I ended up falling in love with her music 5000%. I saw the cover of her album and said NOPE. Then I saw the video for When the Party’s Over and bawled my eyes out so unexpectedly. I watched it over and over and was just like, this girl is taking exactly how I’ve felt and expressing it artistically in a way that stirs something inside without even knowing what the song is about. I checked out more of her stuff and thought maybe she was the child of Marilyn Manson lol and she turns out to be the freakin cutest thing I’ve seen. I’m now a huge fan and as a parent of 3 teenagers, I feel like her music is so relevant to the mindset of 99% of all teenagers. It is awesome there is someone like Billie who they can relate to. She is not only amazingly talented but she’s humble, kind and is making a lot of kids/teens (and even adults) feel less alone in their feelings. She is not dark and neither is her music. Her music elicits introspection which is always a sign of true musicianship.

  • And people say their “privileged”. Sit down haters, be humble.

    • I mean they still have white privilege but economic privilege they didn’t ofc they do now tho

    • @Chamita Alimonada que flojera con tu envidia

    • @Chamita Alimonada I... I don't speak Spanish... sorry :(

    • @JVMEEL ohhh claro, es bonito que billie y su familia vivan en la misma casa de toda su vida :) Pero aún así siguen siendo muy privilegiados

    • Even if it's small of cramped... it's where you share you memories... where you grew up... and deep down... you love it. Despite its uncomfortablness at times... and mean a lot of times😅 but hey... its home 😊

  • Not a spoilt brat and really opened my eyes to how down to earth Billie is something very rare in todays chaos

  • I find it sad that that people think “nobody would relate to her songs” I’ve been in a pretty dark place these last few months and Billie’s songs are literally personal to me I relate to them on another level, I never thought I could relate to songs more then I relate to hers.

  • I think that her songs are not sad at all, they're just about deep concepts.

    • Hm I agree but "listen before I go" is sad imo

    • I think they are sad but thats no reason to not listen to them

    • @A I did you know a symptom of sleep paralysis is hallucination

    • Not really deep. Dark would be the right term

    • @M B Of course she would be acquainted with sleep paralysis, since sleep paralysis is demonic. I should know, because I used to experience it sometimes. The last time I did, I invoked the name of Jesus, and the spirit pinning me down (and yes, it was a spirit) blew off of me like a high wind and released me. Now tell me, what kind of spirit flees from the name of Jesus?

  • Whats so good about it is everything she has catapulted with her success has been done with the support of her family. She still has a sense of normalcy because her family is still so much involved with helping her to keep achieving great success and she doesn't outgrow them. That's humbling for her. Kudos to her brother.

  • I'm in my 50s and think she's awesome. So nice to hear someone who's talented make it in the business nowadays. Not many out there who are actually talented. She and her brother are the current Carpenters

  • I LOVE LOVE LOVE how she just lied down during the interview. So free and comfortable with herself and allowing herself to just BE.

  • It breaks my heart to see person who saved my life was struggling with her own 😭

  • "Everybody has felt sad in their life" YES SAY IT LOUDER FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE BACK

    • @iAmRight it's called Shadow work. It's embracing the negative parts of your conciousness so that you grow from it and become happier and stronger. Why do you think people listen to slipknot.. it's a outlet for people that are in a dark place and that are angry

    • @Derek hi no....? did you not see the video

    • is this supposed to be deep

    • Hello Shannon 🌹

    • @iAmRight I definitly did not say that, I said that hearing a song that describes how your feeling is comforting, and yes it does make somme People feel better to know other people are going trought the samme stuff Its not Just the song itself Just go to the comments of "listen before i go"

  • Love this young lady. She reminds of my favorite, kd lang....trying to stay true to herself....it's about the music...clothes are something you wear for comfort......she's got holes in her stockings.....she likes jumping around all over stage... AND she's got beautiful eyes. Keep singing Billie!! You are a breath of fresh air.

  • I think Billie is AMAZING!! I love this family!!! Billie is so deep and so real and so authentic!!! Hang in there Billie!!! Never give up on you!!!! You and Finnias you are a diamonds! Just precious!! Thank you for giving a voice to the realities few will even speak of! ❤️

  • This filled my heart with way too much! She’s amazing

  • I love her. So real! So brave to be so vulnerable and share her struggles and pain with us. Beautiful from the inside out. She and Phinneas (so?) are truly gifted and I look forward to unwrapping more of their gifts in the future.

  • Is nobody gonna talk about the parents room? It's literally the cutest thing ever, they sacrificed their privacy so Finneas and Billie had their own rooms. It's seriously so sweet ♥️

    • @Fanny Ramos I wasn't saying there was a problem with that. Just that it was strange to hear from a different perspective.

    • @NasikaSakura yes, I know that, but the main reason for the parents to do that was the well-being of their children. I just thought that was cute, I don't see the problem with that.

    • @Fanny Ramos Actually, while not necessarily illegal in California, CPS can require that opposite sex siblings (particularly past the onset of puberty) must have their own bedrooms else they can legally be removed from their parent's care. It's misinterpreted as a law for this reason, but many families believe it to be a moral stipulation regardless.

    • @NasikaSakura I don't necessarily mean the poverty is cute, I know that sucks and you don't have much choice, I've personally been there in a different way, but what I mean is exactly it, it's cute that they gave up the privacy and the room so they can have their own privacy, there are two rooms, siblings can share, but they preferred to sleep in the living room so Finneas and Billie can be comfortable, I know a loooot of people that if they were in that situation, they'd never give the room to their kids. Basically I think the action was cute, not the situation they were at.

    • My first thought was,"Cute? You mean 'poverty?'" This coming from a background where those simply aren't aesthetic choices, it's very weird to see it described as "cute" to me. I'm not chastising- just sharing the difference in perspective. (ie: My little brother and I didn't even have a bedroom until middle school. We slept in sleeping bags on the living room floor, and on the one pull-out chair when we got sick to stay off the drafty ground. Mom was on the couch in the same room. We got our older brother's room to split when he moved out at 18.) Billie really does feel like a girl you meet at public school in Cali, even as a celebrity on the other side of the screen. I love that she gets to live her dreams, but also doesn't consider her roots as beneath her. She's like everyone's classmate and neighbor.

  • Billy I love you so much because you helped me into all of the stuff that I was going through

  • She reminds me of Avril Lavinge, the attitude in the stage, uniqueness of voice tone

  • This is so cute and inspirational but kinda makes me feel untalented, I have no pictures or videos of my when I was younger doing something that could be a future job cause I never knew what I wanted to do and still don’t I feel like my goal is to find who I am and have Recognition thanks Billie for this footage. ❤️

  • I like this girl because she’s so humble , she worked so hard to achieved all her goals, this amazing

  • I think that's so cool how they are this duo and yet they have their own music AND they're both nominated that's amazing.

  • I just wish health to her and am looking forward to hearing her work in 10 or 20 years from now.

  • And she also won all of those 4 major Grammy categories!! Period!!!❤️❤️

  • When I first heard her music I had a meltdown and listened to it on repeat for 3 hours

  • Bro depression exist in all ages. She’s not a dark person she expresses herself. Edit: I have depression since I was 11 many terrible things have happened to me. Trama depression anxiety. Billie here may have had things happen to her in her past and present I mean what we know she’s lost friends as in they died.

    • Hello beautiful 🌹

    • Am 13 and depressed

    • Really did she lose her friends???

    • @Shill if natural selection still existed and wiped all depressed teens\kids away then that is almost a whole generation 🙂

    • I hope you get better...you can do this!

  • I love the fact that she still lives at home with her parents. It makes you humble, most people would buy a mansion that they dont need and expensive cars. I love how she stayed grounded and didnt let it go to her head.

  • I love Billy Eilish I love her music I love everything

  • She’s so lovely! I like her attitude! I like her humbleness! She’s amazing

  • Billie reminds me so much of myself, I use to sit in my room and record myself just singing doing certain videos and now I have so many of the similar issues

  • to be honest, i think she’s really pretty

    • @BALKAN TV she just rolled her eyes

    • True

    • Hello Shelby holton how are you doing today 😊

    • @chaplin139 you're part of the 5% of people that thinks billie eilish is not pretty. By the way don't be transphobic.

  • Billie: Has depression, anxiety, etc. Me: I'm half way there...

    • Living on a prayer

    • @mads they clearly deal with either a writing disability or are young.. leave them alone

    • She dont have anexty she have depression, metal healt, turetts sindrome and sineastiza

    • She never had Anxiety just depression/ Billie said that

  • It’s nice to hear someone honest about their feelings

  • Billie is fantastic , she is my favorite singer ❤

  • I liked how she was clapping for herself at the end there. You go girl!

  • "youngest artist to ever be nominated for all 4 major awards" And appereantly the youngest to receive all the awards in one night 😂

  • I freaking adore her her concert was the funnest I've ever been to and I've been to tons

  • I'll be honest. When I first heard her. I just felt this sadness. Hearing that she suffers from depression and anxiety, I sort of understand her music. I hope that she experiences less of those down days. It's not easy!

  • ✨Billie is the proof of the fact that you really have to know someone to even think about judging them✨ In these times that almost everything we see is just someone's opinion, we have to be careful about them

  • 1, MCR TYFTV SHIRT

  • I dont think shes a dark person i think she is just expressing herself shes creative

    • @MySound Official 👍

    • she was depressed/suicidal but she wasnt a dark person in general if u know what i mean

    • SirVäs no one needs to ask it's the 𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒏𝒆𝒕

    • @Kainebd I asked

    • SirVäs same time to you... how hypocritical do you gotta be to post that on an open forum literally meant for peoples comments and discussions/opinions 🤦🏼‍♂️

  • She and her family are so grounded like no show off , live a simple life in a simple life...and she is my inspiration

  • Kudos to her parents for homeschooling their children and promoting creativity. Must have been an amazing childhood. Some many of us were robbed of it in the name of education.

  • I can relate to billie she’s my inspiration to write songs

  • 6:37 her laugh is so precious

  • correction: she’s the youngest to ever WIN all four major grammys

    • @Ross 3000 maybe in fame, but not talent, it's not really dificult nowadays (fame) so it wouldn't be comparable

    • @Martu Chroski if she becomes as big as him though I wouldn’t be surprised

    • @Ross 3000 Billie is kinda talented, but you can't compare her with MJ please

    • @Ross 3000 lol keep dreaming 😄

    • @Ross 3000 Billie is going to reach her own height of fame and success in today’s industry.

  • Love these stories. Gives us all hope! 😍

  • I love how billie live in place where she grow,I love how her hearth is just full of love without pride✨🥰

  • I feel most of the time not good when I hear her music. So it's kind of dark. And it's a message that so many people can relate to it. Please love yourself :)

  • Here after i realized the improvised part is in "Halley's Comet" off the new album... and she used the lyric too :')

  • She seems like she’s really sweet. I hope her career takes her far.

    • imoyourbz and what’s the point of putting that here?

    • She will be unhappy after all this successful career.

    • What's the point of her career takes her far if she's not happy God can help her in so many ways.

    • @imoyourbz Your career isn't going anywhere

  • This is random but like I’m so happy to be part of the teenage community online. It’s just nice to know that we are all going through the same things. Even if some of us are older or younger, it’s nice to not feel alone, and Billie has helped with that too. We can relate to her in a way that no child or adult can, because nobody but us will experience being a teenager NOW. It was different in the past, and it will be different in the future which is why it’s so annoying when parents complain about how we stay in our rooms all day, or our depression or anxiety. They don’t know what it is like to be a teenager this generation, there’s so much pressure on grades, how your body looks, social media (etc.), which are things that our parents never had to go through growing up. Just knowing that there are so many other teenagers online that I can talk to and relate to, people that will understand my humor, my struggles, and maybe even support me is truly comforting. 🙃 have an amazing day ppl! (U can talk to me if u are struggling with something if u want :))

  • "I just wanted to hang out with my friends" - yeah, duh, on one side of the coin she's just a normal 16-17 year old who needs a healthy social life. She doesn't need to be worshipped. All this fame is so unnatural.

  • I really respect the girl ❤🙌🏻

  • I absolutely love her story.

  • Lol feels like anytime Billie has an interview lately she’s like “yeah sure wanna come over?” 😂

  • I like that she's so open about her struggles. I also kinda like their music topics *more than* all the music about drugs, s*x, cars and other senseless stuff.

  • I am so happy for billie. I want great things for her

  • She's an light for those who are in anxiety 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

  • This was a beautiful interview I love it

  • I love how humble she is 🥰

  • she is so pretty, I love the dedication and love that she puts into her music
