  • One day me too I'm gonna practice to become a jockey🔥😜

  • if iam in the horse race school i will dress up as johnny joestar

  • Fools. Training to learn how to abuse horses.

  • Do you have to be short to be a jockey? Because if you do then I can't be a jockey 😞

    • It's all in the Weight, not in the height. But chances are if you're tall you're going to naturally have more bone and mass, and it'll be harder to keep the weight down as you get older. Some jockeys have been known to be almost 6ft tall

    • No height limit

  • END THE RACING INDESTRY!!! THE KILL SOOOOOOO MANY HORSES

  • 1:46 that horse is fighting the bit

  • I have a retirered race horse at my riding barn.

  • BRS is wank

  • Ugh racing is so cruel

  • Do you think they also train them to kill their horses for pet food after the lose?

  • Do they provide the horses for teaching?

  • Horse racing in cruel, when it’s the end of a racehorses career it shouldn’t be the end of its life!

  • Instead of sending unsuccessful horses to slaughter, they should send them to special places they could be therapy animals for different kinds of people. There are even riding places for people with certain kinds of disabilities. For every horse that's slaughtered, you're taking someone else's future away from them. That's because what if the horse you were slaughtering now may actually help someone threw a disability or maybe even save a life? You don't know. They need to stop slaughtering unsuccessful race horses and start using them in therapy settings. Believe it or not, if someone happens to not be walking straight, you don't necessarily have to put them in leg braces to straighten out their legs when all you have to do is put them on a horse. Each horse that's slaughtered is wasting potential with each slaughter. Not every horse is meant to race, some are meant for other purposes

  • please I want to be a jockey I love horses so much help be my biggest dream jockey be my age 17

  • please I want to be a jockey I love horses so much please help me become the biggest jockey I AM YEARS OLD 17

  • Nast ass bits and whips

  • At just 30,000$!! That's more then what my mom pays for a house tf

  • Only “equestrians” that only care for the self would go there cuz they don’t ever think about the poor horse

  • Yeah I have 8 horses that are going to die at my house when the time come they are not leaving

  • I didn't realize that that's what you were saying

  • At 2:16 he never sit on a horse and he is the best in the class?

  • U don't want to be a horse racer because u can turn into a selfish bitch who doesn't care about the horses u would just care about the money

  • 🖕🏼🖕🏼

  • I hope the new generation of jockeys are nicer and less abusive then the current generation. The Race Horse industry is so abusive, people need to know its not all fun and galloping. Its abuse.

  • I hate horse racing

  • I've always wanted to train as a jockey but I would go broke just getting into that.

  • Just saying but horse racing is exstreamly cruel for example if the horses aren’t good they sell them to a meat truck and they push the horse way beyond limits and they will abuse the horses if they don’t win

    • Hanna Mossberg OMG just cuz it dosnt happen to all horses doesn’t change the fact of how there constantly being wiped and pushed way beyond there limits if horses could talk they probably say ow all the time so fuck of

    • Hi Hi [] Just bc u call me bitch it doesn't make ur arguments better And u just used the same argument twice Do u have *any* excperience with horse racing? Otherwise u can't know 4 sure And *what* ecxactly makes the sport worse than any other animal abuse? Also, it completly depends on the country

    • Hanna Mossberg u really just don’t get it. It’s worse than most rodeos. It happens to most of the horses and it is a extremely cruel sport actually do u see how hard they constantly whip there horses during the race!? And did u know most horses in races are sold to meat trucks so just stop bitch

    • Maybe it doesn't, but again. TBs sent to slaughter are sent second hand.

    • Hanna Mossberg just because it didn’t happen to all horses doesn’t make a difference to the horses who did go through slaughter

  • OOH YAY HORSE RACING!! SO FUN ON A GOOD SUMMER DAY!! FUCK OF YA BLOODY MUDERERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! make the horses run in the stinking hot summer. FORCED to run fast as possible al money money money money think about the animals for ones, its all over the news a horse died at Randwick race course I hate it! get it off! Just because horses and STRONG POWERFUL FAST animals that doesn't mean they can survive days of toucher! And I don't care what's your responses to my comments gonna be its true. And u know what..I HATE western people, there so cruel to horses FUCK I wish I could teach them a lesson, tie em up to a pole In the stinking hot dessert and whip them for discipline! U tame a horse with love now Y CAN'T COWBOYS GET IT! Horse doesn't jump...... Give it another go and another go until he or she gets it and goes " oh I need to jump the barrel alright I got this :D " not a huge fucking whip at their rump heading one thousand miles per hour slammed against them, poor horses. And then they force it to buck by hitting it, WHAT DOSE THAT PROOVE SHOW OFFS! Oh look at me! I can stay on a horse while its trying to say GET OFF ME YOUR HURTING ME!! ;-; WHACH SPIRIT STALLION OF THE CIMMERON AND GET IT !

    • " I don't care what's your responses to my comments gonna be its true " lol and by galloping u mean sprinting for their life's and being whipped to death. People say ( the dumbasses like u ) say "they only tap them " BULLSHIT THEY DON'T the y whack it bloody hard! And galloping is kinda like a slower canter. Not a sprint.

    • Did you read my reply...? I not once mentioned "BTS" and no where did you say, "idgaf what u say"...

    • -.- look shit up dumb ass and I clearly said idgaf what u say and lol ur fkn hilarious BTS its not as happy as u think, and if ur so stupid BTS means Behind The Scenes.

    • 1) The horses are galloping in the sun for less than 2 minutes, then they are instantly cooled off and cared for. 2) Horses are 1200 pounds, if they don't want to run they won't. 3) Less than 1% of anyone in racing makes any money from it, so obviously it's not for money. 4) How high are you and what are you on? I'm just curious.

  • 😍😍

  • Racing is fucking cruel 🖕🏻🖕🏻

  • Evil

  • Good to see the lads interesting in horse racing!

  • Horse raceing kills more than 9000 horses a year

    • No it doesn't. If you don't believe me then look at the injury database and do the math. The breakdown rate goes down every year and continues to decline

  • Hi there🙋

  • Poor horses😔

  • my system at kentuckyspeedtrainers.com is the only way to go thanx Paul 928 445 1090 az usa.

  • Dislike racing always will

    • So you spend your time watching videos about something you dislike??

    • Ok then but I really dont vare so fuck off

    • Thank you for your voice of reason.

    • Yea lol

    • Megan Proffitt lol was pretty direct about it xd

  • This is so sick and disgusting.

  • 2:39 tho lol that kid

  • Yeah cause whipping and kicking a horse in the ribs needs training.

  • Me gustaría ir

  • SECRETARIAT

    • @Megan Proffitt Yeah, that was my bad; should have phrased my question better. At least we are on the same page now😊

    • I just got the hint you were getting a bit worked up with the multiple question marks - glad we got it sorted

    • @Megan Proffitt I'm not getting worked up. I was just curious. Well, with my question at least. Before that I genuinely thought you were question marking about who Secretariat is. My apologies if I came off as being harsh to you. Wasn't my intention 😊

    • @Nekhet Screaming Secretariat on a video irrelevant to Secretariat makes no sense nor is it relevant. That's what the question marks were about, why are you getting so worked up?

    • @Megan Proffitt What was it about then??

  • The first two chestnut horses looked uncomfortable with the bit and were chewing on them a lot. Why didn’t they use a halter anyways?

  • I’m pretty sure that’s David Egan at 3:04

  • 2:40 the kid poking the girl 😂

  • Horse abuse in the making.. Yay.

    • @James Burks Well, because horses are pushed to their limits, abused and punished for not being good enough. Whole racing industry is a big hell hole for horses. They kill thousand of them every year, not even counting the ones sent to slaughter. Yes,that's abuse and i'm sick of people saying "it's just a sport". It is not,it's a nightmare for the animals.

    • Shut up, it’s a sport. How is it abuse?

    • How?

    • america is worse than other places. and this is coming from an American.

  • I rather spend that 30K on a normal horse, and i rather do cross country, and jumping....and if i ever will get a horse i'm gonna teach and learn how to ride without a sadle and bridles, because sometimes(all the time) i feel sorry for horses that have riders who are too agrressive,or you know when they riding and they keep the bridles too tight and they hands are not even staying down...ugh this is maddening,i don't wanna see animals suffering just because peoples have a lot money. You can get an older horse,or a retired horse and you can make a life better...why would you go to a school where you learn how to make an animal suffer. Btw i bet there are a lot peoples out there who have just a little money, but they hearts are on it's palace and they actually know how it feels when a horse *trust* you and become your *friend* not your *slave*... Congratulasion humanity, you've done again something very...terrible thing against animals who supposed to be free and wild and have a *life*.

  • The bits...the whips, the chains, they just bother me, and the stalling, such beautiful creatures shouldn't experience being shoved in a stall and being whipped and experience pain through a bit...sorry but I'm against racing and always will be, I know some people like it and they think the horses like it but it's not true, the horse doesn't run for money, they run either because they're playing, or they're running from a predator, no matter how well these horses are treated, this just isn't natural, horses don't love this, they don't like spending their days in a stall and only taken out for exercise and racing. These horses should be in open pasture, 24/7 like their ancestors. Some people might like racing, I don't, but people need to put the horse first and stop thinking about what they'll win if they force a horse to run

    • You clearly don’t ride horses nor been on a thoroughbred. They love to run and yes they should have pasture time but not 24/7 Do your research

    • Scarlet. 5561 Unfortunately as true as that is, thoroughbreds are domestic animals and rely on us to look after them. It's also really sad that there isn't enough equestrians to take on retired racehorses. Hundreds retire each year in the UK and it's a hassle to find time and money to retrain them. At the raceyard I do work experience on weekends and I have fallen in love with this mare and I am planning on buying her when she retires and retraining her to be my general riding horse. She's not a good racer, comes last in almost every race and I heard her owner say that she's losing him money and he doesn't want her back on his farm when she retires. I know the raceyard that I go to treats the horses really well with good facilities but I'm also not ignorant to this racing world either.

  • 1:55 Wrong leg

  • I think I need to go there but not for racing!!!

  • Gut

  • I wish I had had a starting salary of 30k as a bug.

  • FAKE NEWS

  • dont be fooled its not as great as you think. you have to maintain a weight that is unhealthy to be a jokey. its an entirely sexist industry. Your treated like dirt and driven into the ground like slaves and all of your peers and even fellow students are self ritious know it alls, especially the ones that are supported through bank of mummy and daddy. You work from dawn until dusk until your feet are ground away to your knees. Sure its fun because your get to ride and groom the pretty horses. but dont expect any kind of respect from anyone, least of all from the prick that runs the yard! Never again!!!

    • Yes its not a very rewarding environment. Most of all to see the horses treated in a very unnatural routine. Some horses in new market only get seasonal grazing, so are only actually allowed to be horses for a few weeks a year! Few actually see grazing at all! Its a savage environment and as I said extremely sexist. Never praised for any good work you do and driven to the point of collapse. I got bullied terribly and had other students and staff members behave like absolute savages towards me and Il never forget it and never forgive them for it. My advice to you is if you are having to work with stuck up equines, just always keep the upper ground. Remember what you are good at and never compare yourself to them. Be compassionate even if they spit at you. Because then you know for sure its their problem not yours. Its unfortunate because I was very passionate about horses but was driven away from my entire experience with the people and the environment.

    • peggy Holliday yeah I agree! I read the schedule for a day on the website and you start at 5:45am and finish at 9pm. The jobs and the yard routine is very similar to the one in college but the difference is that we start at 9am to 4pm and we don't ride horses and it's only once a week. I can imagine how stuck up the students can be and I'm just about putting up with the other girls in my class.

  • :O I sooo want to go

  • Who else just skipped right to the simulator part?!

  • "My role as a jockey is to get inside the horses mind" Then why can't you understand when you're pushing a horse too far? A horse shouldn't be defined by the speed it runs at, nor should it be not understood or cared for. You can't build a relationship with a horse by training it too fast, too soon, and then racing it for a few years, and sending it afterwards to an auction where it'll be bought by a kill buyer.

    • @Nekhet ah okay, no problem, it can happen!

    • @Rebster Oh, sorry about that. I accidentally replied to the wrong comment. I was liking your comment and opened up a reply on it but I forgot to clear your name tag from it (I'm lazy and didn't want to scroll up to OP lol). My bad☹️ But yeah, I did read your comment and I completely agree with what you said😊

    • @Nekhet did you even read my comment? I am saying they will not be slaughtered.

    • A champion racehorse would absolutely not be sold to a butcher. That's like sending a Ferrari to the scrapyard. They would probably end up retiring to some farm and used for breeding if not sold for insane amounts of money to someone who just wants to own a former race champion because of the prestige.

    • You think that a horse that wins races will also be killed after its career is over? Don't you think there is way more money to be made if it's just sold? If a horse wins, but retires, probably prices are high, and it won't be killed.

  • Incrível!

  • how come all the horses are brown? is it like all racing horses are brown? no, they're not, are they? i used to ride a horse called Bella who was supposed to be a racing horse but couldn't be (i never understood why) but she's uuhhh... she's gone now is all i'll say. :( but anyways she was brown. point is i do horse ride, but not in a professional academy thing or anything. i have my lessons on a farm. but i've always wondered why, in places like this, the horses always are brown.

    • ErinOcelotl :3 its because Bays and Chestnuts are the most common colour in thoroughbreds. There are grey and black racers around to but just not as common.
