  • The most impressive man i have ever listened to. These kids are so lucky to have him, he will change lives. The entire country needs this man

  • The statement of a lifetime. "DON'T GET OUTSIDE AND TALK WHEN YOU HAVE ME RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU!"..THAT'S A REAL MAN!!!!

    • @Van 2.0 At no time, or in no way did Coach Prime "disrespect" them as you claim. He didn't call them bums, he didn't disparage them in any way. He addressed them straight up as men. Hard truths. Deal with it. It WAS a statement that needed to be made in that moment. Your take is exactly emblematic of what's wrong with some of our young people today. Coddled. Sheltered. Afraid to lay out expectations up front and set a tone of accountability and discipline for fear of hurting someone's feelings. If you listen to what Coach Prime is saying, a 1-11 record is unacceptable and he's there as a change agent to do something about it. He's challenging those young men to step up or step out. No sugar coating. He's bringing dawgs that are not just going to compete, but be dedicated to winning. Seems like you're the type that accepts losing and wishes not to offend or hurt someone's feelings. Not out of pocket at all. Necessary.

    • @drobertsatplay foh bruh that’s not soft that’s respect…yes they were 1-11 but they represented their school best they could talent wise…disrespecting those players doesn’t have a damn thing to do with records..that’s not a statement he needed to make and definitely not deliver it that way…there is s lot of softness going around but that statement was out of pocket period

    • @OSU999 America is in for a rude awakening ..Guaranteed..

    • Prime is in for a rude awakening.

  • I never realized how great of a speaker Deion really is. When he talks, he calls them out for not having higher expectations but he doesn’t sit there and bully those kids. That is how a leader speaks

    • He is a preacher. He knows how to deliver a spoken word. Hell ya I’m on board with Coach Prime. He will make Colorado great.

  • Mannnn the way he finished his speech and walked out gave me chills!! This man is the TRUTH. Good luck coach Prime!!

  • That's 100% best speech I have heard from a head football coach ever. Real talk is needed in 2022.

    • @Van 2.0 soft is 4 wins in 4 seasons!! Real, is a man speaking truth and bring straightforward and not misleading... lmao 🤣.. if your a division 1 player at a school that expects to at a minimum compete, and have players give EFFORT AND WORK HARD TO GET BETTER, and they have not so much as sniffed success, that's weak af!! Was he arrogant and cocky? Yeah I agree a little much!! But somebody at Colorado is fed up and sick of the losing culture, so they have given him the reigns to do what is NECESSARY TO BRING BACK SUCCESS, and apparently seeing his credentials lmao he knows a lot more about that than anyone in that school sports wise.... yeah it's a soft program getting a nice makeover !!😆

    • Amazing what you cats think is “real” or “soft” lol…I’m a Deion fan but some of things he said in that speech was disrespectful nothing to do with soft…those kids still deserved a level of respect that was not giving…1-11 doesn’t imply disrespect is ok…the idea was fine the execution of some ot could have been better

    • @itcantbetruebutis 77 I agree. Also the reason why they can't do something or the short comings they are having..... all someone else's fault or some BS excuse of why they can't. Prime is showing them the light. It's 100% on you.

    • @Larry Ramos the thing people hate the most is truth !! And they hate the reality of the situations, cuz they are so miserable themselves, that they are constantly looking to spread their misery and hate wherever they can insert themselves!!! He was straight up with them. Now would u rather the coach do it the way he did 🤔, or would u like rumors and whispering behind your back from all over? Where everyone else knows but you? I'd rather the former than the latter myself.. people hate what they can't understand, or have been programmed to hate! He watched tape on the players, talked to people close to them and evaluated them before he ever stepped in that room.. he's a real dude. No fake no phony. Love it

    • Find me another speech on social media so that I can determine if this was the greatest speech ever. You can’t find it. Deion uses social media like no other.

  • I wish I had a coach like him holy shyt my skin give me chills just listening to this man these guys are lucky

  • A born leader!!! Hate to see Dieon move on from JSU, but he did wonders for the program. Would like to see him succeed in his new challenge.

    • @Summers Lotus qa

    • @J Hill don't think God cares about individual movement. God have greater concerns like famines, wars, "natural catastrophe" infant mortality, etc. Don't think the movement of a ball coach is high on God's priority list. But for those with high faith, I leave them with their beliefs.

    • He will succeed he has been a winner wherever he went. the Jackson state program is living proof of that not to mention his career as a player

    • He gave them 3 years, left a legacy and put THEM on top. Also, opened a lot of doors and those doors have NOT closed. LET'S be EXCITED for COACH PRIME. Because he's MOVING like a chess piece !! Stop playing checkers and start playing chess my PEOPLE. Love ya 💕

  • I was a fan as a teenager. As an Alabama A& M alumni, Thank You for what you’ve done for HBCU’s!!❤

  • I flat out love everything Coach Prime stands for. One of his many attributes is weeding out the weak! It takes a team of men to win in football.

    • @N T lol

    • He weeded out weed too. 😅

    • Well Off Media Deion Sanders Jr‼️ CS-tv ch🐐

  • I see a team defeated mentally, Can’t wait to see what Coach Prime do with them!

    • Trust me ...... HE sees a mentally defeated team too. I also think 80% is closer to accurate. He's gonna gut that roster .... and I promise that was a mandate he gave to the school before he took the job.

    • Transfer Them

    • I bet he keep them line men 😂

    • From a JACKSON STATE 🐅... he's about to have the 🦬🦬 stampeding the PAC -12!,💯

  • I'm in MN....56 years old.....never played football on any level. And here I am, sitting and paying attention like I'm in that room, listening to everything he has to say. Man....to be those kids in that room? I would go home and hug my mom/dad/whoever. Because "He's coming" and my life is about to change for the better.

    • He is coming to WIN !

    • @No Shot NoVa who gives a damn about those dates? They are past history. Those of us who were not there have no skin in that game. What DOES matter is there is a talented individual who is interested in lifting young boys to men, and he is willing to be vested in the process. The man has delivered wherever he has been. His mission is clear. He has been transparent to everyone he is accountable to, and he is interested in answering the call. Support the brother in answering the call, because “he’s coming”!!!

  • If hes able to spread his work ethics to these kids then this team will definitely get better real quick.

  • After that speech I wanna play for him, I hope these kids take advantage of the opportunity because he's done what they're trying to do at the highest level

  • "I'M COMING." That's a mountain of confidence. Climb it carefully. Smart. Disciplined. Fast. Respectful. Man, I felt that!

  • What makes this great is that he laid out some of his expectations and then asked them if they had questions. That would also give him a chance to learn about them and their expectations. Then he said, ask questions now and don't wait till you get outside. Because people often will "talk about you", instead of "talking to you". Very good meeting.

  • Deion energy will be dearly missed at JSU and Colorado is blessed to have his energy.

    • @J Hill stop thinking like this, Jesus christ

    • They always take our greats to benefit them. Let's be real.

    • Deion] attacked me on the 23rd,” Pilar Sanders says. “I never attacked him. He choked me. It wasn’t the first time. He is a violent person. Anything that you see him say, my goodness, count it as a lie. I’m flabbergasted every time I see him do another media piece. It’s sickening.” She felt that energy no doubt lol

  • Old school coach! LOVE IT. No trophys and awards for playing. YOU MUST DOMINATE!

    • @Matt Sporich He did say many times he not a fan of NIL he a fan of these kids getting into the NFL. Times have changed...so he smart to leverage NIL to get 5 star recruits.....he got 2 today! Anthony Robinson one....the other is the receiver from IMG.

    • old school? lol we shall see. he is live and die by NIL. And if you dont believe that look at who runs the youtube channel this was published on and look at everything he has done. He is all in this for himself and his kids which is good for his family but feel bad for the kids at jackson state who bought his shit and the future ones at colorado who will buy it

    • That's right

  • Deion's faith shows in the way he coaches. He wants his team to be inspired and know that they can be the best if they work together. I loved seeing a player say the prayer and not one of those guys felt uncomfortable at Jackson. Deion's about to disappoint some people because they don't believe that he's capable of doing what he did at Jackson.

  • Coach prime represents the teacher I always wanted to be but was not allowed to be. I left the teaching profession and coaching forever because I couldn’t be him. I admire him and know he will be successful.

  • I appreciate the different angle, I can’t wait to see the transformations he makes with this team. Ima whole fan now and never heard of this team before

    • Same here. Never knew Colorado had a college football team.. Prime effect is real! I'm a fan!

    • Look up their game vs Michigan in 1994. Wild finish. You won’t be disappointed.

  • I wish there were more coaches like this man. He knows what it takes to be a champion. I’m showing my son this. This will now be how it works going forward.

  • I’m a Utah Fan but I’m so excited to see what Coach PRIME will do for Colorado! It will be fun to see the change he will bring… good luck Coach Prime

    • Hope the champs get that Rose Bowl they deserve it.

    • Who the pac12 bringing in adter southern cal and ucla leave ?? They came up with anything yet?

    • Y’all might start losing ngl

    • It'll be a fun rivalry

  • Shame on the other P5 teams that willingly chose NOT to hire Coach Prime.

    • @Everett Debrow did you watch the Iron bowl? Time management sucked. Play calling was not good at all. Will he eventually be a good coach...time will tell. Deion had the advantage of coaching in high school allstar games.

    • who's to say that Deion didn't turn them down? Deion realistically can call his shots. He could have had a higher profile job BEFORE he went to Jackson State.

    • That's on them and they will regret it!

    • @Everett Debrow Trust me when I say I totally get it, I spent 5 and half years there and I am an Auburn graduate who follows the athletic teams closely. I was a student from 1999 to 2004, and watched Caddy and Ronnie Brown in person every home game. I might have missed a total of 5 home games over the 5 1/2 years I was there. The trustees and boosters were a problem before I got there and continue to be to this day to some degree. Honestly my hope is that Caddy stays at Auburn under Freeze for 2 or 3 years and learns everything he can. Once he gets that experience, hopefully he gets hired at a smaller college as head coach where he has great success. Then, once Freeze either moves along to another school or gets fired, Coach Caddy will be perfectly positioned to be hired as HC at Auburn. That would be the ideal scenario at least in my mind.

  • I'm a 53 year old man, and he GOT ME READY TO PLAY!!

    • Hit that Portal and let Coach Prime know "I'M COMING!"😤

    • @Guerry Francois just playing with you my dude I would run thru a brick wall for Prime

    • @Nahze Williams 🤣 Okay!

    • @Key 🤣Lol. No doubt pretty much.

    • @Key no shit Einstein lol

  • It's folks out here still playing football and we here in a damn meeting 🤝 man I felt that from my seat 🪑😅

  • We are all witnessing the next greatest coach in football history

  • Damn!!! Thats what I'm talking about Coach Prime Time. You had me motivated to play and relive my old memories of football, basketball and track. Discipline, Hard Work, Being Smart and Respect pays off in life period. Im 56 years old and Coach Prime had me ready to practice and play... I love Coaches like him. Hard, but Fair. Its your choice as a player to work hard in the program and reap the benefits.

  • This is some good stuff…. This was a shock and awe moment for these young men. This is reality check

  • Mr. Sanders is a great leader for all young men not just black men.

    • Facts he is about the younger generation

    • Facts 💯

    • @mrc1834 that's so problematic in ways you'll never understand. Typical idea of one person making a rule. He is one man. He is not "black coaches". You mention diversity one minute and then mention he is showing what black coaches can do. That's a contradiction. Nick Saban doesn't show what white coaches can do. Nick Saban's performance doesn't set the tone for every white coach. Yet it's clear you already have those expectations for deion....yeah.... interesting.

    • STRONGLY AGREE, HE'S AMAZING AND WE NEED MORE MEN LIKE HIM.

  • A coach that doesn’t mince words and talks straight to the players is a refreshing change. Coach Prime is almost equal parts preacher and coach, but you get the feeling he truly cares for his players wants the absolute best for each one. It’s going to take time for him to build a winning team at a D1, Power 5 school but I believe he’ll get it done. He recruited head to head with the SEC and got talented kids to come to JSU. His departure is a big loss for JSU and I hope they can maintain momentum with his successor.

  • He is where he needs to be. Gonna be lots of recruits eyeing Colorado now. Got a new power in the PAC 12

    • May take 2 years to get there but he will have this program rollin soon enough. Im predicting he will have colorado in a bowl game his first year.

  • Most college aged kids are not mature enough to receive this message UNLESS they prioritize excellence in all they do BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY academics (learning and executing) and football (learning and executing). Those who “get it” will run through a wall for this guy because they believe he will do the same for him.

    • If there parents or someone that knows explain to them this is how life is. Plus, never trust anyone regardless.

  • “My calling is not built on a location, it’s built on a destination” - Coach Prime #skobuffs #cubuffs

    • It should be built on the journey.

    • @MegaLBreezy 🦀🦀🦀

    • Well Off Media Deion Sanders Jr ‼️CS-tv ch🐐

    • ......... Lame

  • the problem that other folk gonna have with him is that they can't tell him NOTHING that he doesn't already know. about the college game NOR the pro game. about the in-game, nor the media, nor all the surrounding stuff. he knows ALL of it. He was one of the most high-profile collegiate athletes ... dominated one pro sport and was damn good at a second ... brilliant as a member of the media ... ridiculously savvy as a businessman ... he can talk the talk because he walked the walk better than practically any man that has ever coached college football.

  • Deion, your influence will be missed, and thanks for the JSU Memories, and the wins. Wish you well in Colorado. God bless you and keep God first. Out of respect for JSU and the players, I wish the announcement would have been made after the Celebration Bowl. (Canton, MS) 12/05/22

    • I appreciate the fact that he didn't want his team to hear it from someone else.

    • @Jamaal absolutely. But he's human. No, the grass is not always greener. But the constant hate, jealousy and crab mentality gets real old when all you do is try to evoke change to make things better for these young athletes.

    • @Wallo42 I’m one of the ones that preferred he stayed at least 1 more year however JOB WELL DONE. It was never his task to shoulder alone leveling the playing field for HBCU’s , with the blue print left it’s on everyone that qualifies himself or herself to do so

    • @Wallo42 C Prime has dealt with hate ALL his life. Beside what does he have to lose. Deion Sanders is not like Prime Time. He created Prime Time because he understands how the system works.

    • @Jamaal hopefully so. Prime still has lots of hate that doesn't want to see him turn that program around....but in time he and his staff will.

  • Coach Prime understands how to build people, create a true team...not about any individual but sum of all the parts...at 57 I'm ready to join him! very impressive in this day and age!!

  • Best introduction to a team in the history of sports...

  • What a guy. I remember watching him on NFL network CS-tv clips when I was in middle school, and now I’ll get to see him coach the football team of the college I go to. I would always see the 1990 champions sign, but I never believed it because, growing up in Boulder-we were buns. We need leaders like Bill McCartney and Coach Prime to be the best!

  • I’ve watched this so many times and I get more hyped each time I watch it

  • Such an amazing spiritual, inspirational message to his Royal team. Great job and continued success. Dr.Dixon

  • One thing his detractors will never understand. In order to be able to lead you have to be able to naturally inspire. He has the resume as an athlete of always giving his all he’s “been there done that”. His intangibles will get these young men to give their all and want to play for him. When he demands excellence they will give it. Who Cares if he hasn’t coached at this level yet..everyone starts somewhere and what better way to start than at the bottom where the expectations will be realistic. This is/was the right place and he will do the right thing and make them boys into men

  • Damn... damn, he coming for any entitled soft asses. Half that room is shaking knowing they talking about them

  • Deion be having me feeling like "Coach, please don't kick me off the Team. I promise to give 100% devotion every second of every down. Please let me..." Wake up and I'm like Damn. Nightmares!!

    • I Thought I was the Only one,big up!

  • Im 43 years old and haven't played a lick of football since my senior year in 1997 and coach Prime and his approach got me ready to suit up!!! Get em, coach!!!!💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💯💯💯

  • Not gonna lie, if I played football I would play for that man. Culture makes a huge difference and he’s all about culture. I love it.

  • I want to play for Deon. He's going to make them great, if they want it!

  • Used to go to CU games as a kid when they were competing for National Championships. This program needs this. Real talk, real action. 1 winning season in 20 yrs, finished 1-11 this yr. He's coming.

  • I hope that every young man in that room knows what an incredible opportunity has just landed in their laps. Deion is such a rare example of honesty. He sugar coats Nothing. Give this guy better than you even knew you ever had inside of you and your life will change forever. Prior to today , I could have cared Less about Colorado. Now you just became my favorite team to pull for. I have a feeling if you give Prime Everything you got…and more…he’ll reciprocate like you never knew was possible. There is so much crap in this world, but I think Deion is different…and in a really good way. Give it HELL.

  • Yeah 10 of them are coming!! They gone Hunt and they Gone EAT!!!! 💪🏿 💯

    • This channel is part of the team.. this isba diff angle of the speech.. you can see jr on the other side of the room

    • Well Off Media Deion Sanders Jr‼️ CS-tv ch🐐

  • Accountability is the first thing he is going to inform his players!!

    • Well Off Media Deion Sanders Jr‼️ CS-tv ch🐐

  • If you leave a place better than you find it means "SUCCESS"...

    • FACTS! 💯

    • Now that’s a WORD!! @Money McCray

    • @Greg McKnight exactly if we stay where people try to keep us we will miss God's timing. He is on assignment.

    • Exactly, there was nothing else left to do at JS...they now have the Blue Print for success as a City, Community, and University....God speed Coach Sanders...

    • Yes so glad you said it!

  • These boys better appreciate and realize that some people play the game with their HEART and SOUL and NEVER get a coach like this!!! GOD must be FOR YOU!!

    • Well Off Media Deion Sanders Jr‼️ CS-tv ch🐐

  • Im glad Coach Prime is here because he can build this program fresh!

    • Lmao he is leaving the moment Shadur graduates

  • My favorite football player of all time is the coach for Colorado. He's gonna revamp this football program. I'm here for it 👍🏿

  • Deion Sanders is great at what he does! Being gifted has no color. He can reach anyone who is willing to learn from him#teamsanders!

  • This is going to be one heck of a team in a few years...

  • Coach Prime said “we looking for tough, smart, competitive players, if that’s not you. hit the transfer portal” 😭😭💯😂

  • I can't lie, I wanted to join Colorado after that motivation.

  • I needed to hear this speech. I need to make some changes in my life and make some things happen.

  • As a leader of men you have to love his honesty and high level of integrity and transparency.

    • Follow their journey... Well Off Media Deion Sanders Jr ‼️CS-tv ch🐐🏆🏆

    • 💯💯💯💯💯

  • Much Congratulations Coach!I can feel it! He’s comin y’all!👏🏽🎊🎊❤

  • I’d just leave the meeting crying 😂. You can tell a lot of them aren’t gonna be there.

    • In the words of Jerry “Iceman” Butler: 🎶”Only the Strong Survive”🎶 Some of ‘em gotta go; leave footprints 👣

    • if they choose not to rise up to the challenge then they will not succeed elsewhere. sanders was only saying some positions are filled out to motivate these men that they can’t just mess around anymore spots will be fought for. Why run away? you won’t succeed elsewhere if you can’t do it on a 1-11 team.

    • They already started packing their shit from their lockers 😂😂😂

    • Transfer protocol quick

  • I played at the University of Colorado years ago. I'm so thankful and doing backflips that Deion Sanders is here. I only hope that at some point in time he recognizes the foundation that Bill McCartney laid down for this football team

  • Listening to this speech made a light bulb go off in my head. If no other D-I school tried to hire Sanders, the NCAA definitely has a race problem. And yes, I am a conservative Republican. But facts are facts. This guy should have been interviewed by about a dozen schools at least. He is the real deal.

    • Real deal has No PARTY !

    • @Timothy Williams In hockey, it's called the boys club. I'm curious to see what Deion does with this team. I do get tired of seeing the same old retreads get jobs and I am a conservative as well. This is a litmus test of sorts and I believe he will do well

    • @idanilee3 I am perfectly willing to be convinced otherwise, but no, I do not see "institutionalized racism" in America. Just a little bit more about my experience: I worked as a French interpreter for the U.S. Agency for International Development for six years. In this capacity, I worked with Blacks from French-speaking countries in Africa - more than two dozen places - who were living and studying or temporarily working in America. It was my job to assist them in their stays in the U.S. (This was primarily in the midwest.) As such, I had to assist them with any difficulties they might encounter. Although there were plenty of cultural clashes and misunderstandings that had to be explained and "smoothed over," there was not a single incident in which a program participant (who totaled about 175 over the six years) had experienced any sort of hostility or bad treatment because of race. I can assure you, this would not have been the case in some places in Africa, where differences of tribe, language and ethnicity are frequent sources of conflict and animosity.

    • @Timothy Williams big difference between talking to a single Black person regarding their perspective/life experiences and actually living as a Black person. I love the fact that your eyes are opening to some things regarding racism in America and I encourage you to continue to research and ask more Black people about their experiences. The worst thing you could do, however, is discount or make light of what is actually out there and happening or attempt to make us feel like it isn't. Please don't insult anyone like that on your journey to better understanding and empathy.

  • He took that from Bill Parcells “The good news is we’re going to win a SB - the bad news is a lot of u guys won’t b here”. Preach. If I was one of these kids Id be hitting weights TONIGHT! Go buffs!

    • @A MK that’s Bill when he got the Giants job- but I wouldn’t be surprised if Ditka didn’t say close to the same thing at one point.

    • Was that not Ditka with the bears? Not sure though just asking

  • Wishing Deon the best of everything..He is a winner!!!! Maybe flashy but this man not only "talks the walk", he has "always walked to talk..."

  • Brother Coach Prime man this is classic! I love it! Straight up a soldier! “I’m coming” “Bringing my luggage with me and it’s Louis” most definitely going to rock with him and The Buffaloes!

  • By far in my personal opinion this is the best college speech from a coach in a long long time.

  • this is the best thing that could ever happen to this school and might I say many schools but Colorado has been blessed to have this man come in and I will go as far as to say because of his integrity and his character this team will be headed to a national championship within five years mark my word and honestly I pray that it's less but I'm being realistic God has his hand upon the school now and this football team because they have just hired a man that loves God and has faith in the Lord Jesus and with that instilled into the hearts of these young men God will bless this football team in this University and with that being said I'm just saying Hallelujah Jesus let's go

  • Prime is definitely a culture coach alot of players will buy in to his reality 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿

  • I have a 15 Y/O Son he is going into his 2nd year of football , he is learning the game , he is a Honor Roll student since like 5th grade and he really kills it in weight room / shows his commitment there. I say all that to say this , if he is serious about football and turns it into college ball then this is exactly the man I Pray he gets to have in his corner 1 day. I say that to say this , so many parents are going to be pushing their children to play under coach prime , it can't be understated , the truth is powerful no matter how harsh it can sound sometimes. Coach Prime Talks it , Walks , Lives it , and he coming. These kids have no idea how blessed they are to have this man in their corner if they earn it.

  • Can u imagine if Ray Lewis decided to coach??😎😎

    • Pretty wild if coach Prime bring him on staff...

    • Oh God..scary to think about

    • Oh hell naw!!! Ray would run half of these cream puffs out the door on the FIRST day!!!

  • This aint gone be easy but I'm with him!!! They gone learm!!

  • Imagine sitting in that room looking at Coach Prime and realizing “he’s coming”

    • Hell yeah I would play for this man

    • What I love best about football is the gay sounding comments like yours. 🤣 "Imagine sitting in that room looking at coach Prime and realizing he's coming." 🤣 Good lord my guy...

    • Better hit the transfer portal

    • PAUSE

  • This is either going to work out amazingly or be the funniest reality show in college football history. I'm hoping he can revive a once decent program.

  • Awesome. Congratulations Sir Deion 🥂🍾💪🏽🏈

  • I felt a collective shudder throughout the Mountain West Conference. The phrase "Game Changer" has just taken on new meaning at CSU.

    • The collective shudder came from the PAC 12... er, 10.... I mean 8... No wonder usc AND ucla wanted to leave... they foreseen the future.

    • You mean Colorado University Buffalos. CSU - Colorado State University Rams.

  • He was accidentally asked which position coaches he's keeping..he replied "probably none"...damn..lol

    • Why would he keep any they went 1 and 11

  • The best players hardly ever become good coaches. It was easy for them and they never had to do all the hard work. If he makes it happen, he will be one of the first great players to become a great coach. Good luck coach Sanders.

    • @Blue Sky Good points. I wonder if warming the bench instead of starting might be better preparation for coaching. You have time to analyze if you're so inclined. Or, like Quin Snyder did, decide that your chances of staying in the game are better as a coach rather than a player. He said as much, basically. Returned to school, got his JD/MBA and got a job with coach K. Making the right connections might be crucial to a coaching career as well.

    • @90caliber Macher There has been over a hundred years in every sport to find examples. Issue is, elite athletes don't often WANT to become coaches. Why? You tell me. Guys who found it much harder to make it happen are familiar with the struggle to be good. Those with more given ability aren't. If you were a left hander throwing 95mph in high school, suffice it to say you haven't been struggling to be good. On every level you were the best, without much effort other than on the mound. You can't teach speed, height, arm length, 90mph fastball, 40" vertical, hand eye coordination and MANY other things. Some can be improved upon, but not a ton. You have it or you don't. The biggest for me is you can't teach WANT TO, or desire. When success comes easy early, unfortunately the amount of desire or want to often is low because they sometimes get bored.

    • @Blue Sky I agree to an extent. For example, you can't teach speed. Either the player has it or he doesn't. It's never "easy." But I concede that it may be easier for some. As for elite athletes failing to become elite coaches, I just think there's a smaller sample size of elite athletes turned coaches to work with. There are many more pedestrian athletes turned coaches so that skews our perceptions.

    • @90caliber Macher I am referring to all types of gifted athletes. Not sure what black has to do with it. It is a fact that high level players of all sports are rarely if ever great coaches. God given talent requires less work from the athlete - compated to someone with less natural talent. When they become a coach they wonder why their players can't just turn it on like they did. Being able to explain the type of work it takes to just make it (vs. being the best) is harder for them, because they never had that experience. It is foreign to them.

    • @Waynebo So far so good. Difficulty level of bringing a mid major back is not as high as a power 5. He was recruiting much better players than the other HBCU's had, so opponents werent much competetion. That won't be so easy at Colorado. I am rooting for him, but don't think he should be anointed as the second coming just yet.

  • JSU Alumni here....No hats, no phones, no earrings. These boys are about to get rude awakening. If they are strong enough to make it, they'll be better men for it.

  • Good luck Coach Prime!

  • I can almost see Bobby smiling down on this meeting. Bo Schembechler didn’t something similar when he came to Michigan and he’s definitely smiling. Was there a lot of talk? Yes Where there a lot promises? Absolutely. I think Deion is going to deliver and we’ll be rooting for him.

    • Oh we know. Already a Subscriber. Thanks

    • Well Off Media Deion Sanders Jr‼️ CS-tv ch🐐

  • I love this brotha; he already got a 5 star player (RB) transferring from Alabama, and many more 4 and 5 star players coming as well. When I was a youngblood; I use to see Colorado on the map; the pride they had for the game. I don't know what the Phuc happened to this team and organization; as if they have given up hope in themselves. With Coach Prime there; the whole Pac 12 got to step their game up. I'm not even a Pac 12 fan, I am an SEC fan east of the rockies.

  • These young dudes are about to experience something special that defeated mindset will be removed you can literally see these dudes shaking in their shoes it's a new day for Colorado football when they buy in to what coach selling this program will return to its true prominence

  • I love it.... These kids should take advantage of the lesson being given.

  • Oh boy…I’m not a Colorado fan but I can’t wait to see them next season

  • Coach Prime is bringing the heat. The current players are in for it unless they are ready to go.

  • I want to see how effective his coaching taught JSU. Hopefully enough play this team and win. That would be the ultimate test of his effectiveness.🤷🏾‍♀️

  • The greatest Cornerback of all time. He gone open doors for a lot of sht this about to be a cheat code for black coaches watch the blue print I followed from high school to college he got this Prime Time unbelievable to have watched his Journey

  • Just feel like that was him sitting there on the other side listening to Bobby Bowden . RIP . Coach Prime played for some amazing an legendary coaches and now he's one of them

  • Principals are required to be the best. This is a highly motivated message. Life changing experience!

  • I have.NO DOUBT in my mind that with Deion now at the helm that the Colorado University Buffalos will be a successful football program here going forward...
