Love the channel. Just a tip in becoming acclimated to this new cultural environment... getting comfortable might be made easier if some of the language is changed. A lot of the way you're used to talking to each other, even the title of the video... Deion and the family is... isn’t going to fly in rhis new PWI academic setting. Admin, faculty and staff are going to want a certain level of academic professionalism even from athletic staff. Coach knows the deal. He’s been in these environments for decades and I hope adjustments are made accordingly. Blessings

I went to high school with this dude. The snow there is nice. I lived in CO Springs for a few months. It snows one day then gone the next. Doesn't get all dirty and slushy like out east.

I'm a born and raised WA Husky, attended college at the University of Florida during Coach Prime's time in the shine at Tallahassee and I have respected and idealized him always (who in the 1990's didn't if you played football and baseball). My son is currently a CA Berkeley Golden Bear, but I will be following and rooting for Colorado this next season. Bro you and Shilo make perfect sense as far as the cold. I experienced it myself, and was shocked when I went to Denver in February 2021. I live in AZ, and it was 80 degrees, when I left that week to visit my family in Atlanta. I was freezing the whole week in ATL, since it was 48-52 degrees the whole week. I was shivering and shaking, and everything. I decided to stay longer, and it was too late to change my flight, so I got a cheap flight back, so of course I had a long layover in Denver. It was 28 degrees when I landed, and all I had on was a letterman jacket. I spend eight hours outside checking out the city. And the whole day I was like this is weird, why am I not cold right now. It was the strangest thing. And I was walking the whole time or taking the bus. I even ate outside at the 16th st mall, and was good.
I lived in Colorado for a couple years before. Hands down my favorite place to live in the country. I love snow and the mountains. People were great and not so snobby like you get on the coastal cities

The differences between Colorado cold and Texas cold. Colorado air has no moisture, in other words, very low humidity , and Texas’ humidity, most of the time , is always high, therefore the moisture in the air, makes Texas feel hotter in the summer; and colder in the winter.

Man as a home builder, having those doors swing out and being blocked by the snow is a major fire concern. I cant believe that is allowed. I would have never thought about it as I build on the southern east coast and we dont get snow. However, all of our egress doors swing in so nothing can block it. That shit is scary to me

Lower humidity makes the cold feel not so cold (layers work great to keep you warm) and makes the heat not be so dang hot. Can’t wait for them to experience summer and summer nights. They are sooooo nice. And sunny winter days you’ll have snow on the ground but west t shirts and shorts during the day and be fine .

He's right about Colorado's weather. The cold is different. I was just in Colorado and 30 degrees in Florida feels colder than 15 degrees in Colorado.
The reason Colorado feels less cold at the same temp, and feels less hot at the same temp, is the humidity. Water in the air magnifies the way the temp feels on our skin, and Colorado has very low humidity, while Dallas is very humid. One of my favorite things about living in CO

Mountain cold is different, and hard to explain to sea level people. Wet, gray, blowing sideways coastal cold is hard to explain to mountain lifers. I have been in Colorado Springs, 10°, sun out, it was heaven. Flip side, the coldest I've ever been was late December '89 in a soggy frozen New Orleans. It's hard for people who haven't experienced both to wrap their heads around that, I've learned.
I don't know anything about U of Colorado until " Coach Prime" showed up. Now i'm a Buffs fan! Enjoying personal touch vlogging. We're Coming!
