This Summer, meet the residents of Element City
Watch the new trailer for Disney and Pixar’s #Elemental and see the movie in 3D, only in theaters June 16!
Check out a brand-new trailer for Disney and Pixar’s “Elemental,” an all-new original feature film that transports moviegoers to an extraordinary place called Element City, where a host of elements live and work. The trailer showcases each element-air, earth, water and fire-and what sets them apart according to Ember, a quick-witted and fiery woman who’s always stayed close to home in Firetown. In “Elemental,” which opens in theaters on June 16, she finally ventures out of her comfort zone to explore this spectacular world born from the imaginations of Pixar’s filmmakers and specifically crafted for the big-screen experience. Element City is inspired by big cities around the globe and embraces theorized contributions from each elemental community-from giant pine-tree-like buildings and waterfall skyscrapers to a tornado-shaped arena called Cyclone Stadium.
Joining the previously announced voice cast including Leah Lewis and Mamoudou Athie as Ember and Wade, respectively, are Ronnie del Carmen as Ember’s soon-to-be retired dad, Bernie; Shila Ommi as Ember’s love-seeking mom, Cinder; Wendi McLendon-Covey as Wade’s stormy and Air-Ball-loving boss, Gale; Catherine O’Hara as Wade’s welcoming mom, Brook; Mason Wertheimer as Ember’s admiring earth neighbor, Clod; and Joe Pera as an overgrown city bureaucrat, Fern.
Directed by Peter Sohn, produced by Denise Ream, p.g.a., and executive produced by Pete Docter, “Elemental” features a screenplay by John Hoberg & Kat Likkel and Brenda Hsueh with story by Sohn, Hoberg & Likkel and Hsueh. The film’s original score was composed and conducted by Thomas Newman.

  • It feels like an explosion of color in every shot

  • I don’t think I’m 100% sold on the story, but the animation and the creative ways these characters interact with the world will still be worth it for sure

    • It's a Disney Short premise stretched to feature length. That's what you're sensing. Yeah it'll be a fine movie. But will quickly fall into obscurity.

    • i think its similar to Romeo and Juliet

    • @Fr1bble - I thought the same; very Romeo & Juliet vibes with the star-crossed lovers story.

    • I’ll just watch it for the visual. Don’t see the plot being its strongest front since how simple it is imo. Basically an elemental Romeo and Juliet.

    • Its the same story told through a different lense. Its the lover from different social circles, sides of the track, race, political ideologies, religions, regions, esc its all the same its literally never changed in hundreds of years except how its portrayed in the cultural importance of the time it was made think dirty dancing versus Romeo and juliet two stories both the same one took alot from the other but the cultural stigmas were way different for the times.

  • I can't wait for these two characters to fall in love and then break up due to the pressure of their families towards the middle of the second act only to find out that they don't care about what others think by the beginning of the third act and then lecture the whole city about the wonders of loving each other's differences, thus, leading the plot to a climax where everyone learns how much richer their society can be if they mix with each other.

    • Yup! Can’t wait for the same plot, different characters. So unique 🥰

    • And then when society collapses they have to accept that the world has to be segregated. At least they're carrying on Disney's legacy

    • Fucking love the creativity. The town where all of the fire people live is called fire town and get this. This is gonna blow your mind, The city were all of the elements live in is called get this… FUCKINg element city.

    • @Unnamed green Demon Well, to be honest, we do that stuff in real life too… Chinatown? Little Italy? Hahaha No, but it’s true, that’s the classic Disney move: they are monsters so they go to Monster University! They are animals so they live in Zootopia! 😂😂

    • And can't wait for fire to literally burn away every other element except for air! They really should've gone for another metaphor, feels like the elements were chosen purely because it was a fun technical challenge for the animators

  • I like how we all perfectly predicted the plot 😭

    • Even if you did, PLEASE just see it in theaters, anyway! I'm sure it will be an amazing movie! Also, I REALLY don't want Toy Story 5 to be justified!

    • @googamp32 bro chill tf out and go outside or smthg😭😭😭 Pixar better be paying u otherwise this is just sad

    • @sbajkgfvhedirwg hv They aren't paying me, anything! I'm sure this movie is going to be great! Just, PLEASE watch it in theaters! Otherwise, Toy Story 5 will be justified, and we'll NEVER get another original Pixar movie, again!

    • @googamp32 how much are they paying u bro😭

  • the thing that bugs me about the movie is the story is so obvious Ember & Wade fall in love the people are not gonna like it because of the "elements cant mix" rule but in the end everyone is going to except it even if they dont like it but the animation & the different elements looks so amazingly beautiful that even though the story is predictable i might watch it because of the beautiful animation

    • Any story can be great if it’s executed properly, regardless of how simple/cliche it is. Give it a chance, it’s Pixar after all. They hit the bullseye more often than not

    • Bro what were u expecting it’s a kid movie

    • @craneflies00 bro’s expecting the next citizen Kane 😂

    • @craneflies00 Toy Story, Up, Finding Nemo, Walee, The Incredibles, etc… Pixar had a track record of making great original stories. They set the expectations high

    • @Emanuel they’ve been missing a fucking lot lately

  • The story maybe cliche but the visual animation is absolutely beautiful The animation might carry the entire movie...

    • The story is typical for Disney and the animation typical for Pixar... I hate that they were bought!

    • The art direction of this is garbage, decent animation with this boring subject matter is not gonna be worth it at all.

    • Am I missing something? The animation looks awful

    • They just look like water boy and fire girl

  • Now imagine if Pixar keep doing more originals than sequels. This looks great

    • If it does well in theaters, THEN we can assure that Pixar will keep doing originals. If not... Well...

    • Yeah. Pixar needs to be more themselves than just living in Disney's shadow. Disney always bought studios that beat them. I think its about Time Pixar has good movies

    • @Gacha _Nazrinfamily yk, I think Pixar should just consider to stop working for Disney and focus on their own work.

    • @Jon Yes, that's what I meant. I'm sorry if my english was bad

  • This is the kind of quality I expect from Disney and Pixar to make. I'm glad to finally get a movie that goes back to being imaginative with its characters and its world building. I definitely look forward to seeing Ember and Wade in the big screen come release day.

    • Why do these types of accounts have to exist and be handled by actual human beings

    • @Cher Sungyoon Don’t worry it’s not that kind of channel. The name and picture are just clickbait.

    • Another diversity lesson movie how we should be equal to others

    • @Cher Sungyoon it's a bot

  • To this day even with everything Disney owns and creates; live action tv shows, feature films, etc.. nothing will ever compare to their animation studios. That’s where their magic truly shows.

    • Can they beat dreamwork now?

    • 😂😂😂😂😂 "WHONIS YOUR FAVOURITE FEARLESS HERO!"

    • Nope not anymore they used to but now every other studio makes better animation than both Disney and Pixar combined

    • @Mohab Alserafe lies

    • @VeganManBrett🏳️‍🌈 nope that's a fact

  • The movie looks absolutely stunning and I have little doubt it will visually be an incredible movie. But i feel like I've seen this plot already 10,000 times.

    • So are you going to see it in theaters, or not?

    • @googamp32 Possibly. Or wait for it to be on Disney+

    • I see everyone saying 'i've predicted the plot's but really, no one did, do you really think Pixar is stupid enough to spoil the entire movie, plus if you watch other promotional material, you will see " to save the world" so there is a much deeper plot

  • For the story concept I'm not gagging, a little basic, but visually and world-building wise this looks gorgeous and entertaining

    • The world building already makes zero sense. "Elements can't mix." How does earth nourish or grow without water? The air people are clouds which is vapor/water as well. Fire needs oxygen/air to burn, etc. It's so lazy and devoid of creativity. Their shaders have gotten better but there's zero spark. "Element city", nice naming. Not even a topia or land. The most generic name possible lol.

    • @NeutralGuyDoubleZero it seems to me that these element people are not actually "the elements" because you can see there are plants, water bodies, etc. that aren't alive in any way in their environment. I think the "elements" are more like a kind of creature which is single-element based and we don't really need to get into the specifics of how they work

  • When I first saw this as a preview in theaters I completely thought that it would be a Pixar short since it was at the beginning but I was completely surprised to see it is officially a full length movie. Skepticism aside, I feel this should be an enjoyable and wholesome movie to watch. Can’t wait to see it!

  • Please dont let this be bad. All I want is a good movie from Pixar. The visuals look so amazing.

    • My farts are better than Pixar’s farts

    • Pixar never fails.

    • @P real

    • Pixar usually delivers these days. The worst they've made in the last few years was still a decent watch just not memorable, like Onward and Lightyear.

    • @Xaldel yeah

  • Animation is such an amazing medium. Imaginative worlds and characters such as this can come to life in a truly unique way.

    • I wish they had Imaginative Stories though :/

    • @Z0BI many do. Just very few from Disney recently.

    • @Glendar jj Oh yea i agree. I just realized i misread the original comment, i thought they were talking about Diney in particular.

    • alexa?

  • The best thing is how elemental characters look in different textures and I love the imaginative world. Sliding on water and making droplets makes a rainbow is beautiful!

  • Not sure if the story will be generic or good but the animation here is so colorful and fluid

  • Today is the first I've seen anything about this film and I'm stunned at the phenomenal artistry of it. In terms of theme, it reminds me quite a bit of "Zootopia", right down to the inclusion of a fictional city that caters to different types of beings. But it's visually spectacular, all the same.

    • I kinda get that idea, with how the city seems to have different areas for different elements, but beyond that, it's not really like zootopia. It seems to be more of a romance, where zootopia didn't really have a plot of romance, AR best a hint of it and at worst best friends being misidentified.

    • its also give me wreck it ralph vibes, but besides that i feel like this movie had no interesting objectives to the mc, they just put stories and such, if they make og movies it will be more good

    • Pixar and Disney use the same formula for ever movie… this will be the same

    • totally reminded me of Inside Out, right down to how the characters are "drawn". They do "recycle" their character designs.

    • @Lena Poolaw 1:26

  • I really love this movie already and it hasn't even been released yet hope it becomes really successful and that they remain together and we get a sequel

  • Loving the animation so far. The only downside I can see in this is that it looks a “forbidden relationship” & “opposites attract” type of story. And from what I’ve heard a decent amount of people online are kinda tired of those type of stories. Fortunately for me I don’t care about story tropes being overdone. What matters for me is if it’s executed well or not. Hope the movie executes it well.

    • Forbidden relationship is what came to mind for me as well, and I'm all for it. Can't wait to see it on the big screen!

    • Tropes are fine, in fact they're pretty much impossible to avoid. It's _how_ they're done that's important.

    • @Mark P. There's so many tropes in the world that it hard NOT to follow them in creative works

    • It's Pixar, you can't tell the plot without watching it. That's the quality of Pixar movies

  • I love how all elements have their own theme and place. This movie looks really colourful

    • How the hell is it "clout-farmy"? You do actually know what that word means or are you just parroting insults? And Silvervale leaving VShojo was something in the making for a long time. She already complained about their lack of support and how no one at the company would talk to you if you didn't get high ratings several months earlier. Seeing as how she confirmed on her discord that her "break" was actually a suspension, I think the real reason she had a breakdown on stream is because the freaks complained en masse to management and they pulled the plug on her mid-stream. Nazuna also said on Twitter that management told her not to play Hogwarts, so that "talent freedom" thing is clearly a lie. Silvervale came back and streamed Hogwarts anyway because her contract was almost up, so what's VShojo going to do? Fire her and let the mask fall off or let her use Twitter as a scapegoat and walk away when her contract's up with minimal drama? You want to talk about someone just selling out their company for a bigger contract, though, let's talk about Pikamee. Everyone thought harassment was the reason she "retired", but then she jumps ship a month and a half later to a bigger company and makes no attempt to keep a low profile. She sold out the company she was with for three years to join a pit of vipers. What other reason could their be other than pure greed?

    • @Crimsona Chan Sir this is a Wendy's

  • It absolutely looks so good the thing i love is that they managed to make 4 elements into a huge city which is just phenomenal!!!

    • This .....this is just our World.... Like Piece by piece what are you Smoking my man? Give me a Hit pls

    • @only a commentary nothing special im 13 i cant smoke

    • @UniversoI'm also 13

    • @ZERRY nmk

  • The different elements looks so amazingly beautiful that even though the story is predictable 😍

  • I can't even tell if this is 3d or 2.5d, but no matter how good or bad the movie is, I can tell it will be a visual masterpiece.

    • It's clearly 3D, it's not even stylized to look 2D

    • @Your Local Schizophrenic I think they're talking about the fire faces being more flat on their body. I think it's quite nice stylistically.

  • This kind of movies that you can watch and enjoy without liking nor even caring about the plot... the visuals are GORGEOUS !

  • I'm honestly surprised that the message seems to be more like "Do what you want to do, get out of your elements/comfort zone." Water seems to be the troublesome one while other elements stays in their lanes. Having Wade give Ember the chance to explore her own surrounding and feelings sounds pretty cool. I also like how experimental and bouncy the animation is. High hopes for this movie

    • My farts are better than Pixar’s farts

    • @Pwhat?!

    • @P the Moistcritickal bots are evolving 😱

    • This right here! People were expecting a cliche love story but it's also doing something else while coming off like that

    • And it’s also very creative and is heading in a totally new direction

  • Love the part where mario says, "I'll do anything for my bro!" Best movie line ever! So stunning... So brave!

    • Wrong movie

    • wrong movie buddy

    • bro did anyone around you that you are a bit ... slow ??

    • @FrankArgenti The joke went over your head, did it?

  • I'm definitely going to see this when it releases. It's visually appealing, seems witty with interesting characters, and loaded with symbolism. I love surreal animated projects that explores a whole new world with adventures. Which is why I enjoyed wreck It Ralph and Inside Out so much.

    • if you wanna watch surreal animated projects then watch howls moving castle and not this garbage

    • @Jinnans Lol how do you know if it’s garbage or not? Dude it hasn’t even come out yet.😭😂I don’t care, this looks appealing to me so I’m still going to watch it. Also I have a little nephew so we already agreed we will see it in the theaters together haha.

    • ''loaded with symbolism'' this is the most basic plot of all time,,, at the end theyre gonna finish it with a song and dance about how everyone is the same and elementals mix, how sweet and wonderful,,, obviously havent seen this hundreds of times before

    • @contra_eristico Just because it may have a “basic plot” or has the potential to be predictable, doesn’t mean it can’t have symbolism or hidden meanings. It happens all the time in animated movies, but of course, the blind, ignorant, and oblivious won’t see or choose not to see. Obviously it’s more than likely to end on a happy note, it’s a kids movie, what do you expect? A heartbreaking traumatic ending? Lmao. I’m going to see it, looks very intriguing to me.

  • When it comes to creative world building, Pixar NEVER disappoints.

    • Eh Monsters University wasn’t as creative with its world compared to the first movie.

    • The monster designs were better though

    • creative???? 💀

  • insanely well done animation, every frame is like a story within itself ❤❤

  • I love how Creative Pixar movies are with the storyline. The difference between Disney and Pixar, is that Disney has a lot of songs. Pixar movies have deep storylines with creativity, but no songs. When you have a “Disney and Pixar presents” then it’s a mix of both. Ever noticed that?

    • Please be sarcasm, please be sarcasm...

    • That's not even true, a list of Pixar films have at least one song incorporated in the film.

  • Every time there's a new movie trailer from Pixar, my inner child will come out and be leaping for joy. Every single time! Oh, it's so good to feel like a child again.

    • Saaaaaame

    • I agree!!

    • When wade said " you can be who you wanna be" and ember chooses to be Michael Jai White is such a powerful moment

    • Took the exact words right out of my mouth, it’s the reason why I still love animated movies especially anime.

    • THIS LOOKS AWFUL ABSOLUTELY ATROCIOUS LIKE A LITERALLY A DUMPSTER FIRE

  • I love this. It seems like they’re trying the zootopia plot again, and it looks great. Although instead of some big bad, it’s more of a romance/self discovery movie.

  • The Characters are so cleany created and animated! I haven't watched this yet but I can already tell its going too be a blockbuster!

  • I can’t wait for this! I haven’t been this excited for a Pixar film since Inside Out.

  • Woah, the colors and animation look amazing. And I really look forward to seeing all the creativity with the different elements in this movie!!

  • Pixar animators hardly fail. I just hope Disney’s writers don’t mess everything up like they’ve been doing for a few years now

  • this honestly seems like its gonna be a amazing movie from the characters to the animation and the world. ive got high hopes pixar

  • Ciertamente le tengo esperanzas a esta película. Gráficamente me gusta muchísimo, y aunque tal vez ya esté muy gastado el recurso de una pareja que no puede estar junta por cuestiones sociales, siento que lo manejarán bien en este caso

  • I love this original idea and how expressive these characters are. Hopefully this movie is a gem when it comes out.

    • It probably won’t be. It’s literally Zootopia with a different theme

    • @Ethan Silvia yeah but I’d rather watch elements than furries

    • @Gigamind you do you, all I’m saying is it’s anything but original.

  • The animations and colors in this movie are BEAUTIFUL! The voice acting in this movie is okay, but the jokes are cheesy. I don’t know if I’m going to see it, but it seems like a good movie

  • Hopefully, this can be like How to Train your Dragon where it's a story that's been done to death but the characters and writing make it feel fresh and new. The animation is pretty spectacular.

  • Don't get me wrong here: I love the artstyle and the choice of colour in every shot so far. But the story man... we've seen the typical "I have to step into the footsteps of my parents but I never wanted to or didn't realize I didn't" for like... the 50th time now. I wish big companies would not only create unqiue worlds and artstyles, but also spice up the story game a little more

    • I agree. Though, it would be a good start if they can put the message (any message) naturally inside the storyline and avoid using some kind of lazy tricks (you know, like those monologues out loud to reveal info easily or to explain stuff to public because "public is dumb"). By now, that would be enough for me. 😅

    • @daiyoukai01 yeah the message is very on the nose, like c'mon couldn't they had made It a bit more subtle or something

    • This is what i meannn 👏

    • hey, at least the art book is gonna absolutely rule

    • I get it but the reason we see many plotlines along the lines of these is because they reach a lot of people & can be engaging, also there are some kids that will probably be watching this movie who the concept is somewhat new to.

  • These are some of the movies to be watched by all age groups, great details in each and every scene.

    • _"No. Way. _*_THE_*_ AVATAR?!"_ - Bo Lin

  • This looks so imaginative and wholesome, I can’t wait to see it!

  • I’m actually like Ember and Bernice’s relationship more than Wade Ember because I love a good Father Daughter relationship it warms my heart when Bernice believes in Ember❤😊

  • I honestly don’t see a problem with this film besides it’s overused theme of having forced expectations from someone you know, but yet again this is a personal story from someone so I cannot wait to see how it unfolds. The designs looks pretty good in motion in my opinion.

  • This legitimately looks really cool! Pixar has not lost its touch when it comes to the visuals and animation, and they’re showing no signs of losing it anytime soon.

    • Too bad they can’t make a decent story anymore

    • @Is Swampus don't assume that they cannot make a decent story anymore

    • @CS ANIMATIONS you really think a generic love story but with cartoon elements is a good story? This is like something they would spoof on South Park to make fun of how desperate and out of ideas Pixar has become

    • YESSSSSSSS I AM SO EXITED

    • @Is Swampus The way I see it, a lot of animation studios such as Pixar have a variety of strengths and weaknesses. As for Pixar, yes.. there are most definitely a few areas where a story can be worked on, but I personally think they easily make up for it with their consistently sharp visuals.

  • The animation is SOOO GOOD damn. Can’t wait to see it❤ hope the story line are good too ✨

  • So many animation styles in the characters... I love it

  • Oh my gosh! Water and fire are different! They can’t be together? That is so crazy and funny! This movie looks like a really good movie with a really good idea. I’m definitely looking forward to seeing this very good movie.

  • I really hope Pixar does this movie good as Dreamworks did with The Bad Guys and The Last Wish

  • I can't wait until the premiere of the film, and I am counting the minutes left foer it... it is very interesting to see how the different elements approach issues according to their specific DNA, and the natural style that each one has: in my case (I identify myself with fire) I would have surely crossed the fence burning it (I would kave done whatever it takes to cross it), and, on the other hand, my wife (who is clearly a water Element) would have crossed it without doing anything wrong to the fence... and in essence fire seems to be moved by making things happen, and it is fast, firm, direct and energetic (but be careful because it can burn!), and, on the other hand, water seems to be moved to generate harmonious environments, and it adapts, flows, and is close and careful (but attention as it can stagnate!). What it is not so clear to me is that the elements cannot be mixed, and I am very curious to see what the outcome of the film will be like... for instance, my wife and I have been living together for almost 30 years and we have clearly "mixed" because we have already 3 children , and have learned (not without difficulty) to build bridges in our relationship and communication to make it effective and as smooth as possible 😀

  • Pixar never fails to impress me with their originality. And as part of Disney's 100th anniversary celebrations, I still cannot wait to see the film.

    • Disney Pixar is the best as always, the best

    • *cough cough* strange world *cough cough*

    • originality ? hmm idk it seems kinda ...generic ? Water boy and Fire girl don't let others decide who you are all seems very baisic to me at least from the trailer but I hope it will somehow suprisee me 😊

    • @Angela I agree, not really all that original tho the trailer looks good

    • @Angelabad guys was basic and had generic story but the twist and character made it fun

  • Elemental looks amazing, so colorful, Pixar always makes the best movies 👏👏👏👏

    • Elemental looks stupid Pixar is worst movie than Luca Toy Story 4 Cars 2 Monsters University Brave and Turning Red

  • The 100 year anniversary movie for Disney, is something that youd see in a 2 minute short that was made 13 years ago. What a slap in the face

  • I feel like I’ve seen this story already. The animation looks beautiful, as I expected from Pixar. But the story is something that has been done to death at this point.

    • I bet they pretty much read a comic strip "Hold Close" by Ingrid Tan a decade ago and make movie out of it lmao

  • Just gonna say it, I haven't had the most faith in Disney in a while but I'm Excited for Elemental to come out! Looks good and the story is unique, hope it lives up to my expectations!

  • I don’t know if this is going to be good or not, but I just love how each of the element people move. -The vibrations, jiggles, and bubbles in the water people -The cloud streaks left behind by the air people -The shifting of the leaves and grass on the earth people -The way the flames wave with the motion of the fire people I think this movie has some good potential. I just hope that its as good as it looks. cs-tv.org/tv/video-ANo9JTH54Kc.html

    • elemental looks gorgeous and the story sound interesting. I also find ember's voice pretty.

    • opinions are opinions/. opinions are based on what do we think of and not facts

    • Oh no, 3 GREAT MOVIES IN 1 YEAR +TOH FINALE WHAT DO I DO

  • It’s been a while since we got a story directed straightly at love.

  • I love the animaiton and how they all have different elements, this sorta reminds me of inside out just with that its emotions 💖😻

  • That's a pretty cool idea hope they really worked on this one seems like it has potential to be a really good movie !!

  • I love Pixar, They always do something better and learn full

  • I am so excited for the fire girl to break out of the status quo, and meet water boy and then realize there is more to life than being seperated. But then, they break up in the middle because their parents have high expectations since elements can't mix. Then an inspirational song about not conforming to society, and being yourself plays. Then the fire girl rushes to water boy, and gets back together with him. And then everyone claps. This is gonna be better than End Game, y'all, what an original story 🤩

    • Why copy paste someone else's comment? Smh

    • Don't you have a lasagna to feed to your cat?

  • I don’t care what anyone says, the art style is phenomenal and the animation that goes with it is stunning. I can’t wait to see it!

    • this is copycat from atla idea tho

    • @Swahili Boy So because ATLA exists, no one should ever make stories with elements ever again? 🙄

    • @Naette Ngu fr ppls concept of what is truly copied is weird

    • @Swahili Boy 🤦‍♂️ ATLA does not own the elements

    • ok am I the only one who thinks the animation is total trash then???

  • It honestly looks so weird and almost fanish animated, that it’s just perfect. I cannot wait to see this!

  • A friendship story of fire and water 😮 amazing concept Disney and Pixar, much much appreciation.

  • The animation looks so beautiful. The movie seems cute, reminds me of a girl with strict parents who gets a boyfriend with non strict parents and they show eachother around eachothers towns, and she tries to get him to warm up to her family lol

  • Wow this looks great and very epic I can't wait to see it 😊❤

  • I don't care what anybody says about this movie, I think it looks great so far.

    • Me too! I have no idea why it's getting so much bad faith criticism.

  • the fact that I got so excited to see the movie and I loved until I realized it’s coming out on my birthday-

  • As happy I am to FINALLY see an original story and not another remake around here, the whole "opposites attract" and "forbidden love" thing is getting kind of old

  • I'm excited! If it comes out I'll rush to the cinema to watch it :)

    • No You're going to stay at home tomorrow and play videogames instead

  • The teaser trailer always threw me off when I saw it but now seeing what the story is I’m 100% down for the ride. This movie looks so cute!!

  • I can’t wait for the movie it’s gonna be fire 🔥

  • Love how different elemental characters have their own homes and the style is magnificent.

  • Finally something's that backs to its roots, they should keep it that way

  • It looks really good, they seem to have a similar like story to zootopia with the “elements cant mix” and “prey and predator cant mix” in a way but i have belief that they wont put the storyline based souly on that. Im stoked!

  • This is exactly what Pixar needs to do; switch it up a bit and go for different artstyles to contrast from its previous entries. If Pixar keeps headed with that, it'll find itself back on top soon enough.

  • Idk if its just me growing up but, man I miss the days of masterpieces like Monsters Inc, Incredibles, Finding Nemo and WALL-E

  • I love how the fences only keep up one element, earth. Rest of the elements can face through it or just burn it entirely.

  • “You can’t be together, you are different!” is obviously the message they are wishing to tear down in this movie. Looks very visually striking.

    • kinda wish they chose a message that hasn't been done thousands of times before... hopefully they're gonna do something to shake it up. If that's really the moral of the story, I watched the trailer and already saw everything I needed to see

    • @Nick Pancakes yep, my thoughts exactly

    • It kind of looks like it has a heavy side helping of "you don't have to be who your parents want you to be if you have other goals" to it as well.

    • Interesting how these movies have no villains besides the parents

    • i feel like in this story, the message doesnt really work because we're shown that these elements interacting *can* hurt them. theyre being separated *for a reason*

  • This is one of those movies that I genuinely want to see!

    • Hats off to the brain who thought the concept.

    • @Spyron _"No. Way. _*_THE_*_ AVATAR?!"_ - Bo Lin

  • I like where this is going. Knowing Pixar, something incredibly sad is going to happen that is going punch us in the gut.

  • pretty simple nd straightforward plot but if its executed well wit this degree of animation it’s gonna be a great movie

  • So Good To See Disney Making Good Contents After A Long Long Time.

  • This movie has such an obvious plot that I don’t even have to watch it to know how it goes down

    • So tell the entire plot

  • The thing that I'm most excited about is the fact that all of the elements interact really well in their world, like water always wanting to be near, well, water. Fire changing color by touching the crystals is also amazing!

  • Pixar never fails to impress

  • I get the story about how every element is trying in our world and how it's supposed to process and everything I really like the art of this movie very colorful very inspiring it just makes me feel like..I'm in their world not mine...hopes it looks good as it is on the Trailer... 💦 🔥

  • I think this is going to be a Way of Water thing - visually gorgeous, but ultimately a vase; pretty and hollow. I just can't tell if the animation is good enough to warrant sitting through the plot.

  • Thank you Disney Pixar. This looks really interesting. I can’t wait for this movie

  • This will probably be one of the last animated films that didn’t use heavily AI generated artwork in preproduction, and production. The future looks dark for most visual development artists, modelers and animators. But very bright for Pixar’s bank account. Great trailer! Can’t wait to see the film.

  • I might not care much for the story, but this is probably one of *if* not, the most visually pleasing and beautiful movies that Pixar has made which makes it all the more worth to watch it.

    • The story seems somewhat basic but i think thats cuz unlike most trailers it doesnt just give away the entire plot of the film. The footage weve seens prob only from the first half of the film

    • Yes, but I prefer Toy Story👍🏽

    • It's so dense; every single frame has so many things going on.

    • Coco would like to have a word with you! But yes, this looks beautiful.

    • @XSmamb0 oooh i really hope so! cuz right now the story just looks so bland imo

  • Disney always lets us have a glimpse of the world we never had, but wanted always!

  • This new Pixar movie is beautiful, colourful and amazing and funny. Can't wait to see it on June 16th

  • This looks sick, I'm finally going to the cinema again, how exciting.

  • You’ve done it again Pixar! This looks phenomenal. I want to pause at every scene and stare at the backgrounds there is so much to I Spy and look at. Of course love the Avatar The Last Airbender motif with the same elements here as in the show - team Fire Nation baby 🔥 🔥🔥 I’m very excited for this film.

    • do you mean, just like... the four elements? the classic four elements? Sure, its a theme within avatar, but they existed as a concept and motif in human content for... forever before that. I dont think nickelodeon usurped that cultural impact, even though the last airbender is an undeniable masterpiece.

    • @Avalon Munger Shymalan's adaption was a disaster!

  • Wow this actually looks really really good. Disney and Pixar going back to what works

  • Finally I haven’t seen a good original since Frozen series started hopefully this can become a series as well. This feels like a movie that could’ve came out in past. Maybe this was one of Pixar idea plot stories that made it to big screen. No telling how many stories or potential gold mine movies they made and scratched.

  • I am so excited for this movie!! Whenever I watch this, I try and look for any hidden Easter Eggs/References but then I get distracted by the awe and beauty of the animation and character interactions, lol. Super excited to see this nonetheless!!!!!!

    • No you gonna to stay at home tomorrow
