What an awesome job you all did , what a great idea to have your children actively helping to build the home they live in. Memories of a lifetime. 🧑🏾🔧🤯
Mr. Dad your family is lucky to have you. Awesome job. My Dad passed away from cancer related complications on my 20th bday. But as a child watching him build things I thought he was a real super hero. Now at 34 I have even more of a respect & concept of how valuable this is for families 🥰
I don't have the words to accurately describe how impressed I am with your all of the skills you have accomplished to tackle all of those projects. I hope you all had a blast doing this together and it will be something you all will never forget. Good luck to you all.
i’m only 17, but y’all have definitely inspired me to go ahead and go for my dream and convert a bus. i’ve been watching the journey since the beginning and can’t wait to live out the bus life with my siblings. 🙏🏽
You have created something quite special and beautiful for your family. I hope you have amazing adventures while traveling in this beautiful RV you have lovingly created with your family. This is the type of project that my Dad would have loved doing especially since we went on month long camping trips as we explored the various mountain ranges, visited family and friends and had fun as a family. We used a tent trailer with a zip on extension and stackable camping cots for us kids to sleep on. Once the 3 eldest were no longer living at home Dad up graded to a popup trailer that slept 8 and had a built in stove, fridge, heater, sink and a water tank. Because we camped in bear country we didn’t cook or eat anything in the trailer which was fine since we had a pretty good setup for cooking outside and had multiple canopies to protect us from any bad weather. Dad even had heavy plastic sheeting that could be attached to the canopies creating walls that came in handy on a few rainy trips.
Amazing. What a wonderful job you are doing. I watched the individual videos, but to see the recap was captivating- your attention to detail and very careful planning and measuring to ensure everything fit is awesome. Can’t wait to see more and continue to follow you on your journey. Thank you for sharing this adventure:
Wow I've love to tell you this that you and your wife are literally soul mates.😍😍😍 You support each other while converting a normal school bus into your house. Love to see that😘😘😘
I absolutely LOVE seein’ people live their life’s dream out. Not only do they get to live their life’s dream, but it also came with incredibly hard work that they can look back upon with the utmost smile. YOU DID IT! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
This was truly magical to watch. The best I’ve seen yet. If every American showed such dedication and creativity there would not be time for unrest and political malarkey. You truly live with unconditional love without knowing any of you it just comes through. My kind of Americans I would be proud to have as friends and neighbors. ❤❤❤
This is amazing work, design and good ideas. You’re going to have a lot of great memories in this camping/house. Thank you for show us you’re “great amazing project”.
Great craftsmanship and execution Mr! And a lovely edit to boot! We, like so many others, are building up an old coach bus, recycling as many different materials as we can get our hands on! Keep up the good work! See you down the road!🛠
I admire your stamina, and your family joining in to finish this project. You having time on your side and all. I've always wanted to do something like this but not by myself. I'm nearly hypnotized watching your progress with this. Thanks for sharing this video with all of us.
I'm curious as to the weight of the bus before and after adding timber, tiles, and white goods? Also, how are the tiles holding up to road use conditions? Live the dream, well done!
At first I was like why....but that moer I watched I was impressed by both your choices and the hard work you put into it. Amazing job, and while I am generally not a fan of "skoolies" I have to say this is really well done, one of the best conversions I have ever seen
I am amazed at the talent to put this together and even though we did see him mostly it was apparent you helped alot as well wife I am in awe of you both BRAVO
Thank you for this video. It was a genuine delight to watch. I respect and admire the build… especially the quality and the finishing touches using wood. Excellent. 5 out of 5 stars.
Such impressive skills and perserverance, to give your family such a wonderful creative building experience, and then wonderful camper for amazing adventures, a home for anywhere.

My first restoration is a 20' Class B frame up. My next one will be a schoolie. Raising the roof is a great idea being 6'. Wish I could have seen a bit more indepth on your rebuild not so fast motion. But it was a good rendering of your work. Have fun and Happy Trails.
Wow, absolutely stunning job on your build. I drove school buses for about 13 years. I can appreciate the improvement that you gave that one. lol. Awesomeness! Happy travels!!
Absolutely outstanding. You guys have built THE most gorgeous castle on wheels. Now. Get out there and enjoy your incredibly wonderful home. Keep on heading towards the sun..... well done!!
Retired school administrator and bus driver here. You made an excellent choice with the flat fronted blue bird. Excellent visibility, better ride than traditional bus and the CUMMINS.!!
When I was a little girl we lived in Harlan county in Kentucky and we lived in 2 busses we used one for a kitten and living room and the other for a bathroom and bedrooms we were very poor but we were happy it was me and my brother and my mom and dad we lived like that for years! It just shows you you can make it through anything if you just put in the effort it will pay off thank you for this video and the wonderful memories it has awakened God bless you all and keep you safe and meet your every need Peggy Lynn Smith from Corbin Kentucky
I can relate to remembering our Dads as builders. My Dad built two enormous rock gardens in two locations as well as two recreation rooms in the basement .Tons of toys ,hand made for my brother and I as kids. These memories are priceless. You are a great Dad . Hope to see a follow up when you guys go" on the road again."

No my friend, the best part is that you and your lovely wife are still together after building that together lol. Seriously though, this wasn’t just a tossed together build, you took your time, did it right and beautifully and I hope your family enjoys this new home for many years to come 😊
Absolutely, WOWWWW! You are one hard worker. I love the color of the exterior of the bus. My favorite thing inside is the tile on the sink wall in the kitchen!
