  • Rip

  • None of this is about whether you should snorkel or not. Obviously it is very dangerous but it’s about the unpreparedness of sandy toes and the fact that all they did was say “swim to the boat”. To hear a person cry out for their mom like that and to not do all you can to help is disgusting

  • Everyone with the name Jordan always has a bad ending.

  • It’s sweet the dad holding the girlfriend’s leg to help her get through this🥺

  • i would've ripped my swimsuit or what ever i or she had on and immediately fashioned a turn kit of some sort i think they all kinda failed her aboard the boat as she bleed out! Its not rocket science that the bleeding from a severed limb must be stopped promptly or death will come swiftly.

  • Girlfriend🙄

  • I thought that was his daughter sitting next to him.....................

  • Local people may know about sharks there but they just care about keep their business, so sad.

  • What a super mom 😭 she was there the moment it happened, dragging her daughter to safety while still being attacked by sharks, she will be traumatized... btw agreed with the dad. the boat for tour companies should at least have medical training and first aid kits

  • Shouldn't go into the ocean,your fault

  • My mom was swimming next to a shark and she punched it in the face and screamed shark. It was just a little nurse shark. Now my mom don’t go in the ocean no more A) Your supposed to punch it in the face or eyes so it cannot see B) If bleeding do not panic or you’ll loose more blood. C) Do not wear silver or sharks will be attracted to you. D) always be prepared and have a first aid kit with you Please be safe when entering the Ocean and be aware of your surroundings

  • I've always wanted to go snorkeling in the clear blue waters of a tropical island like Hawaii, Bora Bora, Fiji, or the Caribbean, but the fear of being bitten or killed by sharks is enough to make me just fine with enjoying the sun and sand only. Sometimes I wish humans were able to read the minds of animals because I want to know what this girl did that caused her to be bitten by sharks twice. I'd also like to know how many other people were out snorkeling in the water with her and why the sharks chose her rather than someone else. Swimming with dolphins would be the closest experience to snorkeling as I could get. At least they seem like they're happier and friendlier animals than sharks are. Swimming with dolphins has been on my bucket list FOREVER and I'll be sad if I never get to, since it's a pretty pricey experience!

  • I still fear them

  • Absolutely devastating. Father says he still cries every night and mother can’t sleep anymore. Dad, mom and girlfriend have dissociated themselves from life to bare the pain:/

  • So Sadly 😓

  • I remember snorkelling once and the moment I got down under the water the first thing I saw was a colorful snake like thing. Idk if it was an eel but the only time I went snorkelling, I was only in the water for 5 seconds

  • I might be bugging but it seems last minute activities or planning usually goes left. Have been binge watching tragedies and horror stories on Y.T. Last minute or change of plans seems to be the mark of the beast. 🤔

  • I would’ve ripped off My clothing I’m shreds and tied Anything around the wounds!

  • Heartbreaking ❤️ its Awful simply Aweful 😢

  • Tip: don't go to 3rd world countries or you can be killed by either sharks or criminals. Also do not go into the ocean. People have been killed by sharks at places like Malibu, California. Surf is up, dude! Oh, now they have "shark spotters" in the Bahamas, so go there swimming and get killed by a shark. Or maybe you can go to a bar like Natalie Holloway in Aruba who was raped and murdered.

  • Sooo no one told you there was 🦈 in the ocean it's not like the shark came to your house

  • Very sad for her family... On another note I can’t help but feel uncomfortable seeing him continuously put his hand on the knee of his dead daughters girlfriend. It just seems overboard & made it difficult to pay attention to anything else!!

  • Her mom is a hero. She did everything she could, including risking her own life, to try to save her daughter. I hope she can find peace. Condolences to the whole family.

  • OK GUYS I’M HERE! I GOT SOME NEOSPORIN, TWO OF THOSE INSTANT ICE PACKS THINGS THAT YOU POP TO ACTIVATE, AND LIKE 3 DIFFERENT SIZES OF BANDAIDS. WHAT’S THE SITUATION??

  • Omg poor baby iam so sorry for your loss

  • 😭😭😭

  • Sharks in the ocean... No one warned us!?!? Huh?

  • Maybe it is time to give the ocean back to the CREATURES OF THE WATERS !!! WE DON'T BELONG IN THEIR DOMAIN !!!!

  • People speak of sharks as pets not murderers they say that sharks are not interested in humans the only take a taste out of you they don't like human taste thats a load of bullshit when you go in to their world you are food no matter what they are creatures that have no remorse they don't think the before they act

  • This breaks my heart knowing she was calling her mom and her poor mother must have tried to pull her away from the shark. 💔

  • Oh God how horrific 😟

  • I'm sure the laughter was from a previous segment, but the transition could've been better.

  • What a painful way to die

  • Sharks don't normally attack like that, I wonder y they turned....

  • This poor man...his beautiful daughter.

  • If you dont have medical supplies then you throw modesty to the wind and rip your bathing suit off using it as a ternicut or string from your trunks.

  • Romance girl

  • Wow

  • Schools should teach pupils basics: like if you surfing or snorkling there is a chance to die from shark attack.

  • It wasn’t a shark attack! How you blame a shark for being a shark in their territory the fucking ocean 🙄

  • Prayers for her family and her girlfriend. Rest In Peace

  • The way he starts the segment laughing, that instantly made me mad.

  • Omg this is awful. Who would ever think to go on vacation and get attacked by a group of sharks? Why can't all sharks be killed in the oceans? Why?

  • Poor dad ...it hasn’t even hit him yet. So sad.

  • Speechless... My prayers are with yall...

  • You ever hear that saying you get what you pay for Oh look they are cheaper then everyone else and they only people that do this and we’re on a old ghetto boat probably not even water ready but y’all still got on it. gotta use you head

  • I have been on this excursion down there about 6 years ago. Never saw any sharks but it doesn’t surprise me at all that the employees of the tour didn’t know what to do or have any emergency medical supplies.

  • So very sad to hear this... I hope the crew gets serious about saving lives for now on! My sincere condolences for this family over their traumatic loss. ETA🌹

  • Don't Swim in the Ocean...God Bless Jordan's Family & Friends..

  • Omg this is heartbreaking

  • These journalist are just heartless! Laughing when just about to interview one of the saddest stories on losing a child.

  • I’m so sorry for your loss

  • I’m so sorry that young girl lost her life... can’t blame the tour company, you’re in the ocean where no one can control anything that happens.

  • Its sad and tragic but your swimming in the ocean there's gonna be sharks.and to all who keep saying they were laughing before they did segmant..they were laughing at another segmant they had done before that....

  • Shark attack human shark die

  • Absolutely horrific for all especially the mother. I can't imagine the nightmare. I don't go in the ocean, you shouldn't have to warned about sharks to know there's a risk when going in the ocean. I sure as hell will never go in. Thoughts and prayers are with the family and especially her mother.

  • shark party!!

  • They literally ate her then she bled out.. I hope her loved ones at least comforted her and didn’t just panic in her last moments.

  • The real sad part is....they weren't supposed to be on this charter! They were supposed to be on the next day, and if only they had waited.....Jordan would still be here!

  • do you really need to be told that there are sharks in the ocean?

  • I'm moving to south beach 🌴 and this has me shook. Rip young lady!!

  • Her poor mother fought with the shark.

  • The tour group had to tell you there were sharks in the water? Stop trying to place blame. You go in the water, you take the risks. Period. Could have happened to anyone, but don't act stupid. If they had told you "sharks live in the ocean ", would you all have stayed out? Highly doubtful

  • Bless you all ❤️😓

  • No one Atleast tried to jump in and ACTUally save her? They just watched her die basically being attacked

    • Who would risk their life for a stranger, not me for sure lol....

    • I think, this happened too fast! In a blink of an eye... it was too late! So sad! She lost too much blood from two big wounds... there was no chance!

  • Omg 😐😑😢

  • people who have no respect real respect for nature water or not should take time to really understand their surroundings. its not a birthday pizza party its nature!! To expect a tour guide to tell you about sharks in the ocean is not responsible on their own part not the tour company. I dont need to tell you there are birds flying around outside. Its sad to loose anyone but they jumped in water without being responsible for themselves. I dont wish loss for anyone but im also tired of people blaming others or animals for what happens.

  • Dumb ass people will never learn to be cautious.

  • Such a shame she couldve mothered many children

  • So sad so sad

  • I have only one advice stay out of the ocean no matter what measures are put in place its really hard to prevent this kind of tragedy condolences to the family of this girl she definitely didn't deserve this fate

  • So sad should never happen

  • You’re not supposed to hit the nose, you’re supposed to go for the eyes. In this case though, nothing would have helped.

  • Too bad you can't carry a stun gun or actual gun under water with you for something like thid happening again💔

  • People carry first-aid kits in their car just because, but a tour boat taking civilians (potentially inexperienced) out snorkeling doesn't? At the very least a boat should always have rope/docking line on it, in case they need to dock somewhere that has none. I mean, there should even be rope attached to a lifesaver, something that should also always be on a boat.

  • Not to sound heartless but this is Honestly the families negligence. Why split up from the group when you all are there to pet pigs ☝ along with home brought you to the island. How ever I do agree with the lack of support and first-aid equipment, they could have been more helpful and effective in their response.

  • Blame the tour company

  • I’ve been there. Being a diver, there wasn’t much to see. A touristy place with a grill so you can swim, sun and have a bite. The Bahamas area is shallow and wild but attacks are so rare especially at a snorkeling beach where you only see small aquarium fish. So sad. RIP Jordan

  • Very tragic loss of course and I feel for the family! I just don't understand that when a person is killed by a lion on a safari trip everybody understands that when you enter the habitat (even with guidance of a tour operator) of a lion it is your own carelessness but when attacked by a shark the tour operator should have been able to prevent, how? You go in the ocean, you enter the food chain of powerful predators and nothing can prevent that! Should they have medical equipment on board? Yes but for such a severe attack you cannot prepare! Solution: don't go into oceans!

  • The fact they were laughing right before the interview started is so disrespectful

    • It’s like ur missing a brain this isn’t the first news they were reporting on fool as u can tell they were reporting on something positive before they transitioned to this topic that’s why they were smiling dumbasses and u can clearly see that they got serious anyways. The both of u are discombobulated and are some brainless snowflakes

    • Exactly like dude one moment your laughing and next someone's family is in greif. Have some respect

    • Seriously, like they didn't know this was the story coming next?

  • Whats wrong with his nose and face?

  • Oh my gosh poor family!!!!

  • The Bahamas is horrible don't come

  • “Did anyone in the tour group say look out for sharks?” *it’s the f••king ocean. This is tragic but people need to learn that the ocean is not a wonderland, it’s vicious and it doesn’t care bout your feelings* RIP to the girl

    • "It's the fucking ocean." No kidding asswipe.

  • "But was anyone yelling about sharks???"

  • I am worried this will start a wave of anti Shark bigotry :-(

  • Sharks did nothing wrong!

  • Tragic, my condolences to the family 🙏

  • I sm not going to Bahamas

  • Well every time you get in the ocean you risk getting attacked by any ocean creature... so as sad as this story is ... I mean ...

  • Very unfortunate incident?

  • God bless this family. I couldn't imagine. But as a Mother myself, I commend this Mom for fighting until the last minute to save her child. 💔🙏🙏 RIP Jordan

  • When you swim in the ocean THERE WILL BE SHARKS.

  • This situation upsets me because there were so many things they could have done to prevent this. They were asking a young woman to swim to them with her arm and part of her leg chopped off. Be careful traveling to these foreign counties. They only care about money. I got ran over by a jet ski in the Bahamas and I needed a place to sit because my leg was swollen and bleeding. They asked me to pay for the chair. Jack ass.

  • Fook that, I'll stick to the North Sea.

  • I feel so bad for her mother. If that happened to my daughter I’d have to be heavily medicated.

    • I would absolutely die. I think of my girl when I watch these and it’s just totally heartbreaking..

  • Sue the company

  • I guess i will cross snorkeling out of my bucket list.

  • This can happen anywhere rip🙏 and hope her family recovers from this u have my condolences..

  • “still every night i cry”💔
