Another 31 year old here...yupp, exactly my thoughts. I think this is one of the reasons why so many in our generation feels like LP was the soundtrack of their lives. I certainly do.

The bridge leading into the final chorus with the added harmony is absolutely transcendental. They were masters at making the 3rd chorus not only matter but a highlight moment of the song in a time where most artists did a 3rd chorus just for structure's sake bc it was the norm, a trend that I'm glad is slowly fading away. But if you do it, this is how it should be done, Linkin Park always justified the 3rd chorus in grand manner, you see this in so many of their songs.
The fact that LP has probably hundreds of unreleased songs and years of recordings on lock-stash just excites me more as a fan. We miss you, Chester. Man, this track is a banger

@daisaq Not leaked before but we did know they existed years ago back in 2006 Mike talked about many unreleased songs and possible remixes but nothing much happened after that and Chester's death is the only reason they got released.

And if you don't believe me, look on CS-tv for the last concerts of linkin park 2017 where they belittle linkin park and especially Chester Benington who had the idea of making a pop record. That band speaks to my mind... they helped me keeping up when everything seems to have shattered, they gave me the force to keep up and rebuild my life. Now i'm 44, father of three and stronger than ever. Mr Bennington, wherever you may be i want to thank you for your (too) short passage on this earth. Linkin Park is the band that got me more in to rock music. Just loved the sound but at such a young age I didnt put much thought in to the lyrics. Now at 34 years old I find there music touches a part of my soul I've wanted to ignore my whole life. We miss you Chester. Thank you Mike for keeping it going.

Linkin Park was the first Rock Band that I love and I wasn't a fan of rock genre back when I was 13 back in 2000. It was so funny how I found their music. Watched their video music In the End on MTV and the first thought that crossed my mind was "wait, when did Eminem join a band?" And when Chester started singing, I got goosebumps and fell in love with Linkin Park immediately. I regretted that I never got to see their live performance because I couldn't afford the travel back then. RIP Chester, you and LP's music has a special place in my heart.
