I think chapter 3 was supposed to be a filler chapter, like cute ties with the seven so they can start up something new and intuitive
It's not that they couldn't "keep chapter 3", it was intended to be a short chapter. Sort of a transition between 2 and 4.

This trailer was the definition of "don't let them know your next move." Honestly there was so much I wasn't expecting.
Hopefully this chapter will make up for collecting fragments for 40+ minutes. The cinematic cutscenes are stun hun. The map looks very promising being a combonation of old and new pois. Edit: this was before the trailer dropped, man im loving all the new pois, theres a few refeeences to the old pois which is nice such as tilteds clock tower and the cuddle team leader rollercoaster. This chapter has been great so far for the past week cant wait for more to come :)

I often complained, but now I have to say that the new season is great. So many different things are in it, like hammers, motorbikes, machines, animals that you can ride, the new one where you can improve bows or similar and a new map. Epic did that extremely well. I'm really happy. It makes a lot of fun. A thousand thanks for that. Unfortunately, in Solo I still have exhausting lobbies, but Teams is ok.
Opposite for me... I absolutely curbstomp reap lives in Solos, but too many braindead teammates in squads.
I love the blend of crossovers and original stuff you guys do, this looks like a ton of fun!

Okay not gonna lie, the collaborations are pretty sick. Geralt and Doomguy are going to be fun to chase, and the new improvements to the gameplay excite me. I’m always amazed at how Epic’s able to continually update and keep Fortnite fresh. Really admirable to see just how much this game has grown. Never was a fan until they introduced Zero-Build, so I’m glad that there’s a mode for people like me who can’t stand the insane twitchy build stuff.

Not gonna lie, Chapter 4 is sick! I really like the weapons they added specially the scar. Motorcycles are way more fun to drive around. What I like about Motorcycles is that you can shoot while driving. The new mechanic hurdling is a game changer specially the auguments. Edit: Just wondering why has chapter 3 only lasted a year?
I wish Fortnite actually had chaos just like this. Like when there’s like a whole squad fighting against another squad and Midoryia comes to the castle blows it up.

fortnight devs are honestly crazy good. so many mechanics without causing massive bugs and exploits.
I have high hopes for this season, first of al the collaborations will be outstanding, second of all the chapter is a mix of all chapters and new ones and third the fact they are mixing up the old guns new guns and the ones we couldn’t experience

I would like to give some feedback to what I think of this season. The new map is very cool but I do think that a few more names locations from chapter 1 should be added into the game. Now onto the weapons, I am grateful for the ar being added back into the game however I think the old design for it would be better. I believe that you should bring back the pump shotgun and the tac shotgun aswell as the sub machine gun and the drum gun. I also hope that the addition to the rocket launcher hasn’t been removed already and it is just out of the game whilst the snowball launcher is out. I also think some snipers should be added to the game. The best would be the bolt action sniper rifle or the heavy sniper. Finally onto consumables and traps, firstly I think that some traps should be added like the old trap or the campfire. I also believe the some consumables should be added like the chug jug or the slurp juice. I hope you see this and consider to add some of the things I have said.

Tip for anyone having trouble with augments: on some platforms the button for it isnt bound, youll have to do that yourself

@AncientSlav i think chapter 3 maps were really good, except season 4, season 4 was really boring because of the preparations for chapter 4 and the BP wasn't that good tbh, but the other chapter 3 maps were kinda good in my opinion

As much as people dont like Fortnite (as much anymore), Fortnite has a strange way to bring everyone back together. Regardless of the skins and themes, Fortnite can definitely be the rally point for all universes and or realms.
I'm kinda glad I got back into Fornite q couple weeks ago. When I first started I hated it, but now it's actually fun to play. Looking forward to see all the new surprises for chapter 4.

This trailer is so hype! I'm glad the season lived up to it.
Chapter 4 feels a lot more isolated from the story than Chapter 3. I know it's less than a day old, but at least with C3S1, we had the Seven preparing for war with the IO. The only 2 things left from previous chapters are the Zero Point and AMIE. It truly feels all new. I hope they don't abandon the story they've been building with The Last Reality or the IO (who are still around, there are IO guards in the event) and they slowly begin to reintroduce them throughout the seasons. And for the love of god Epic. Let the Chapter last 2 years.

Say what you want about Fortnite, but it always manage to feel exciting, new and improved. I always try to avoid trailers and news until I launch the game myself, so the feel of exploration feels even greater. It’s just fun to see how it has evolved over the years. The collabs are just spot on, especially the Doomguy. 🥰

Egal, Lichtschwerter, RL Auto und mythische Waffen, die aus anderen Spielen kommen, sind sehr wohl Dinge, die die Leute wollen. Die einzigen Leute die dann nur deprimierend auf dieses Spiel schauen, sind die Hardcore Competitive Spieler, die eh keine wirkliche Ahnung vom Spiel besitzen oder Leute, die immer etwas „originelles“ wollen. Beide Gruppen schneiden die komplette Community in viele Einzelteile. Jeder will das, aber der andere will was anderes. Epic Games Interesse ist nun mal eben das Geld, dafür ist jede Company und Entwickler da, um halt daraus Geld zu machen. Sie interessieren sich schon für das, was die Community will, haben dafür entweder bestimmte Kapazitäten nicht oder in diesem Fall einfach nicht die Idee zu gehabt. Kein Mensch auf der Welt hat unendlich viele Ideen, auch nicht die Spieleentwickler. Deswegen holen sie sich eben aus anderen Franchises andere Charaktere. Sowas ist nicht schlimm und ist an sich sogar unterstützenswert, weil es einfach ins Setting des Spiels passt, eben ein Multiversum zu sein. Und am Ende des Tages, wenn man bestimmte Skins aus anderen Spielen nicht mag, dann ist die simpelste Lösung, es einfach nicht zu kaufen. Ich, der das Spiel ebenfalls seit Anfang an spielt, finde die Änderungen sogar perfekt und auch gut, da jedes Mal das gleiche Spiel mit gleichen Mechaniken zu spielen macht auf lange Zeit bestimmt auch nicht viel Spaß. Wenn Minecraft z.B. das gleiche Spiel ohne weitere Updates wäre, wäre es bei weitem nicht so beliebt wie heute. Selbes gilt für Fortnite, nur dass es nicht so lange existiert wie Minecraft. Durchaus verstehe ich den Argumentationsgang und die Intention dahinter, aber auf Nostalgie zu gehen, um im Nachhinein zusagen, dass es schlecht ist, derjenige hat ebenfalls Vorurteile gegenüber allem und sieht alles direkt schlecht, obwohl es nicht schlecht ist. Man zeigt damit nur, dass man sich mit sowas nie richtig beschäftigt hat und sich sofort ohne irgendwelche Argumente in den Vordergrund stellt…

I'm excited. The event was terrible but the Collabs look awesome. The Witcher, doom. And maybe even more to come. I'm excited to see what they have in store for us and I hope they keep it longer than 4 seasons like chapter 3. But In my opinion if they listen to the community and make the game new and friendly to new players, I think this chapter will possibly revive the game. Ofc some will say it's already been revied but I'm my opinion the game never died. It's just people got burnt out. We'll see everyone on the new map tomorrow morning. Good luck and good night!

Epic I know you probably won’t see this comment but…. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR FIXING THE GAME! So far this season is already better than every chapter 3 season. It’s more original, the menus are revamped, the tier 100 isn’t a crossover, and scars are back, chests look more og and… well… everything!

I was so hyped and amazed and every emotion when I saw this trailer and I was not disappointed this is so amazing, and I've rewatched this trailer about 8 times already so far

I already dropped onto the new island and scoped out every piece of it. The map is great, the battle pass skins are very nice and I’ll be looking forward to the upcoming crossovers in the future!
I think the only not so good thing about this chapter is that theres not to much weapons as ch3 :( only like 2 or 3 rifles and 2 shotguns, but some items like the hammer and falcon scout are op af
I’m hyped for the mha collab hope the season stays fun and with new updates every little bit to keep the game fresh
