I would love to see a fight like this start out as a sort of presidential debate between the two. They both have such radically different ideas on how to improve the country, and are extremely passionate about their ideals. It could be an amusing dialogue between them.

I think the perfect battle would be valentine coming to the MGS time period, getting into a debate with Armstrong, then defeating him once the debate turns physical. Like the finale with Johnny, Armstrong and valentine would have a heart-to-heart then join forces to create the ‘True’ America

I used to think that this matchup would not work as a fight because of how different their abilities are. But now I believe that it could just work and be made better if we make them both have a presidential debate which would slowly escalate into a fight to the death.
I love this matchup! As a massive fan of both Metal Gear and JJBA, I would argue that this matchup is much closer than we are led to believe at first. While Funny Valentine does have the hax associated with D4C, those hax do not garuntee that he can survive/kill Armstrong. In his fight with Diego, Valentine is on the backfoot as Diego is actively trying to make his death instant whilst remvoing oppritunities for Valentine to escape to another universe. Should Diego have succeded in this plan, Valentine would have died before he could swap out with an AU counterpart. A fight with Armstrong would play out similar to this since Armstrong severly outclasses Valentine in terms of physical ability. This can be determined when scaling Armstrong to Raiden in his various feats across the Metal Gear franchise. That must be the power of nanomachines. Even if Valentine could drag another Armstrong to the universe where they're fighting that won't garuntee a win as well. What's stopping the two Armstrongs from working together? As we saw with Diego in his first encounter with Valentine, an individual can escape paradoxical collision. Armstrong's strength could help him back out from a collision and from there he could strategize with himself. That said, this is still a stetch as paradoxical collision would be an effective way at eliminating Armstrong. This makes the matchup a strength VS hax debate which is tricky to figure out. I would argue that it is extremely close, but I think Armstrong would have the tools more often than not to kill Valentine instantly. This remains true until we consider Love Train. Should Valentine have Love Train (despite it not belonging to him), then Valentine will easily win this fight 95% of the time. NOTE: I also don't think it would be fair to scale D4C to any OG universe stands. There is no connecting link between the two universes in terms of scaling outside of stand stats. Stand stats are more often inconsistent than they are representative of the stand's capabilities. Parts 7-9's stand stats may be based on an entirely different metric and I believe it would only be fair to scale stands in those parts to eachother instead of 3-6.

Slight correction - Scary Monsters (the 'turn-into-a-dinosaur' thing) is not Diego's Stand, but that of minor villain Dr Ferdinand. Diego kept the power after Dr Ferdinand died because he was in possession of the Left Eye of the Holy Corpse*. So the main SBR universe Diego does not have a Stand of his own. An alternate version, however, has The World, suggesting that if Dio/Diego acquires a Stand naturally it will always be The World. * All the Corpse Parts grant some kind of power - the Left Eye's is AFAIK never fully explained but seems to be something like 'copy the supernatural powers of others'

Even though this debate was horribly one-sided due to circumstances, I feel like after reviewing the facts, the character with the most win conditions won. Even without that one contentious ability, it would have gone the same way. Stats versus tricks matches are always a good time, especially when JoJo is involved.
They arguing if Valentine could undo his shirt or a backpack to activate his power, remember that Funny always carry with him the Flag of UNited States of America and use it to activate his powers. If this fights receive the green ligh. It will be the most patriotic fight of the DB history. It should be air in july

Your part about a stand user that can between travel between dimensions and bring objects from those dimensions including people diversity is someone with nanomachines and their body. There's no contest Funny Valentine which is ultimately win. Also Senator Armstrong is not a stand user so he can't see funny Valentine's stand ability

@Alove Kok Yes, unless the exception to the rule is that you can see “spiritual” energy manifestations like Kenshiro did in Ken vs Jotaro. There are also some stands which are tied to physical objects or locations and as such, are visible.

valentine can kill armstrong in 2 ways 1: if he pulls out an alternate universe armstrong both armstrongs will merge and obliterate each other and if armstrong touches his other self the part that touched his other self is obliterated along with the part that got touched by armstrong 2: love train redirects misfortune and the redirected misfortune is lethal but if valentine leaves love train he's wide open

JoJo matchups are such an anomaly when it comes to vs debating. A lot of their most common matchups, on paper they should lose because the opponent is stronger and can tank their outright damage, but because they have such a lopsided high speed tier and weird instakill powers it makes most of their matchups heavily debatable if not outright wins. About the only outright loses I can think of are some of their Persona matches and MAYBE Kuwabara. It's a scenario as bizarre as the show itself
i wouldn't say Jojo has a high speed tier, most higher speed tier feats are massively overwanked and contradicted by most of the show.
@AnUnrealBoy While I, personally, don't believe JoJo to be as fast as Dio's episode made them out to be, I have seen consistent calls across the various battleboarding places that do place them at FTL. That's why I said they have a lopsided speed tier compared to their AP. Generally, building to town level AP characters tend to be massively hypersonic to relativistic. JoJo is the only series in that tier that I know of that consistently shows many ftl feats

I'd have to give this battle of 'Muricans to Valentine, he seems more versatile and has Stand hax.
I think the voting should be more of a numerical system. Each voter on show can cast a vote for say 10% or so each. But the actual percentages from the polls would be their voted totals. This would allow for voters to actually vote for a real option. Let's not even lie that sometimes they vote just to even out the votes to build suspense. The only downside to this is there would almost never be a tiebreaker vote from the guy behind the curtain. But I personally think this would make the community votes mean more overall. Just my opinion. Show is great either way. But I think it would help balance voting a bit more too. Like I said. Just set a value for each person who casts a vote on the show. Could be 10 or 15 or 20 points for each person. I wouldn't go higher than 20 because then it would skew voting to be more in the hands of people on the show. And I think the real goal would be to have it placed in the hands of the masses. The community. I mean it IS called COMMUNITY DEATH BATTLE after all. To reward the live chat viewers maybe make their votes count for double. So whatever the percentages are they get double those points. This also makes closing the gap of the other poll have higher stakes. Idk. I think it would be neat

He wouldn't stand a chance in the first place if he's not a stand user so he couldn't see the Valentine's stand. But Funny Valentine Stan would be with it attack Armstrong without him even seeing it. Also Funny Valentine disability is if he gets caught in between two objects you can disappear within the dimension but also in order to pull things from other dimensions he has to do the same thing

This means that alternate versions of Spider-Man can exist where Spider-Man does exist like the Marvel vs Capcom games. In one of the Marvel vs Capcom games is the Rathalos armor wearing Hunter which means that monster Hunter is connected to Marvel to Jojos bizarre adventure. Most of us should know that naked snake/big boss has fought against Rathalos before meaning that the worlds of MGS and bizarre adventure are chain-able.

In terms of raw speed, strength, and fighting talent, Armstrong would clap. But D4C just has absurd hax and Armstrong has no way to put Valentine down for good.

@Michael there's only one d4c and if Valentine dies before transferring d4c to another Valentine then it dies for good, and if Armstrong so much as coughed in Valentine's direction the force of the wind that would cause would make Valentine disintegrate, no time to transfer at all, but if Armstrong gets d4c'd then he's just as dead

Saw someone claim on the initial community post the nanites work at “the Planck level”, which is most likely untrue. And even if it were, the idea of Dirty Deeds is that its basically matter vs antimatter; no matter how big the nanites are, they’re going to suffer damages since we’re talking the entirety of interdimensional matter, scale is irrelevant.

No one gonna mention Metal Gear has multiverses with the MGS2 Substance release of the game there's a multiverse story called "Snake Tales" Featuring multiple realities and different variations of existing characters. It isn't canon but Kojima did write it and it takes its self as seriously as side content can.

Calling Christ’s bones “outside help” is too flimsy. They only exist in this timeline, and they’re fairly within Valentine’s range of influence (ie; USA).

Here is an idea for a Death Battle I had in mind. I know there is a form you can fill out, but I wanted to share this with you all. It is... Cadence from Crypt of the Necrodancer vs. Chai from Hi-Fi Rush. It would be a battle of the rhythm heroes who move to the music. Their connections are... Both are rhythm game protagonists. Both are affected so they have to move to the rhythm of music around them. Both have had this done to them by affecting their hearts in some way (Cadence's heart was removed and Chai's heart fused with his music player) Both have had their hearts affected by the bad guys (Cadence by the Necrodancer and Chai by Kale and the company Kale runs) The way they came to be this way has a contrast of the supernatural and science (Cadence with the Necrodancer and Chai being an experiment) Both have names related to musical things (with Chai being named after a Japanese pop band) Both of them have used stringed instruments as weapons (Cadence with the Golden Lute and Harp and Chai with the guitar he wields) Both are pretty young in terms of age. What do you all think?

The thing about valentine not being able to come back if the death is instant is wrong. In the manga, Diego makes a massive gash in Valentine that goes through his brain, and D4C's head is even seen splitting. Valentine only died because it was an escape from the infinite suffering Johnny put him through. Basically, it is literally impossible for Armstrong to win.

why? D4C ain't that physically strong and Valentine is just an ordinary human. It's possible for him to win by making armstrong collide with himself and love train is just an instant win button, but without that it's not definite that Valentine wins, in fact i'd lean heavily towards Armstrong.
@AnUnrealBoy D4C is as strong and fast as Star Platinum, which granted, Armstrong does have greater raw strength.

Even if we take all of the stats you gave at face value (despite not showing any evidence supporting them), if we give Valentine love train there’s nothing Armstrong can do. Love train is a completely passive ability that would direct any attack Armstrong throws at Valentine to another Individual until Armstrong either tires out, gets hit with an alternate version of himself, or everyone else on Earth is dead. The only time we have seen Love Train be bypassed is with a stand harnessing the power of infinity.
