    • Bob was magnificent

    • Kittle is a student of the game. I love this guy!!!

    • His wrong one spot NFL not hard his used to be can’t even play pro bowl game all rule changes nobody to be fine that why I quit watch NFL

    • George crazy NFL his joke it’s joke

    • My back 2005 everybody scray hit know days don’t play pro bowl like Deion sanders said it’s joke

  • Glad to see George recognize Bob Sanders. It was so fun (but unfortunate) watching him play with so little regard for his own safety

    • Bob was insane !

    • Bob was the man!

    • He was one of the last of what was the peak of safety play in the history of the league. Was a thrill to watch those guys as a child.

    • I'm from erie, bob was from erie pa. He put on a youth camp at a local college every summer. He told us when he played in high school that he would try and hit guys so hard that he would black out. Not safe boys, but holy shit was it good to watch on sundays

  • Love that he gave Bob Sanders his credit. People don’t know just how good he was

    • he was wicked good. as good or better than Troy P.

    • Dude was a beast

    • Undersized legend

    • He was amazing! I loved playing with him on Madden. Hit stick fumble every-time.

  • Kittle would make a great coach when his playing days are over , upbeat positive and has a very complete understanding of the game

    • Can’t coach that sneaky athleticism tho 😂

    • Kittle comes off as "jockey". But he's really smart.

  • Theo's curiosity and innocence to the world around him creates some amazing content.

    • KInd of like Gomer Pyle, LOL!

    • Exactly!!!!

    • Theo know what he’s talking about but acts like he doesn’t🇪🇪

  • Kittle kills me. He has the greatest sense of humor. Does cameos looking at the camera and stuff. Great player.

  • Not a 49er fan but man do I love this guy. Seems like a great guy and you can tell he is having fun out there.

    • My Broncos beat em this year. That's all I got. 😂

    • @Abel Lopezman we sufferin as a fanbase, hopefully coach saves us

    • @oaksycontin you guys won the superbowl in 2016… not that long of a drought, niners haven’t won since 1995

  • My respect for George Kittle just went through the roof. San Francisco is lucky to have a guy like that

  • I don’t know how you can hate this guy. George Kittle is a beast on the field and super intellectual off the field. Great human being all around.

    • as a philly fan if i was rooting for him and purdy. dont like the rest of them, though

    • @farfeL _ why not

    • Yes first time I heard him off field talk he such a character but smart guy too.

    • His dad was my lawyer. Cool dude. Runs in the family.

    • That’s how I feel watching Aaron Rodgers on Pat Mcafee

  • George is the teammate you'd run through a brick wall for! Absolute pro!

  • Theo needs to do more pro players NFL, NBA I’d say top college players and draft prospects would be good interviews too. Theo got the diversity in his interviews I fw that 🤌🏽

    • this a comedy podcast not sports. no one cares about football

    • @parlaygod a lot of people can like both bud

    • @mitchell g of course they can. i make alot of money on the NFL and various other sports. i dont care ab listening to these athletes on a comedy podcast though. i would go to their post game interview or espn if i wanted to listen to em

    • @parlaygod well a lot of people do enjoy it clearly and stop trying to fake flex on a CS-tv comment section so cringe lmao

  • Love to see this type of behind the scenes interview. And to be so candid and not afraid to speak on the operations of the NFL. Thanks.

  • 49er fan my whole life, Kittle always will be one of my all time favorites to ever play the game. A complete monster on the field, the energy he brings makes people around him better. Will be a sad day to see him play anywhere else, thankful to watch him play and get paid though 💰 😂

  • I can listen to G. Kittle talk about anything and not get bored. This guy is killing it every season!!!

  • Mad respect for Kittle always looking out for his brothers

  • I miss the Bob Sanders, Ed Reed, Troy Polamalu, Brian Dawkins, Rodney Harrison days

    • When you could actually hit receivers 😩😩

    • Agreed. Add John lynch though.

    • Troy and Ryan were just 👌

    • The beginning of the golden era of the NFL. I think Goodell is swiftly bringing the golden era to an end by expansion & culture identity.

    • @John South bringing?

  • Not a 49rs fan but Kittle is one of my favorite players to watch. He always has a great attitude and works his butt off every play. And he looks like he’s having a bunch of fun too.

  • This is very good. I'm European and have been watching soccer all my life, but a professional football player going out there, speaking openly on what is paid, wanting everyone to be paid well, and speaking up for the players that didn't have that luck, that's a proof of character. Here in Europe, soccer salaries are often hush-hush, even for transfer amounts (club to club payment for a player) it happens that the amount is kept secret. There are things I like more about European soccer though, like the open leagues (which they have tried to get rid off with a super league)

    • There is not much that is truly secret here in the states. Especially when it comes to Sports. And Sports media is king here in the States when it cones to the media, and the NFL is the king of sports. And the whole "open league" thing would NEVER work here. I know we are a big country with a rather large population, but Europe has more then double the population of the states. And an NFL team has 53+ players for EVERY SINGLE TEAM. Their just isn't enough talent, or population dense enough areas to financially support a professional team. We do however have other leagues, that are "less then" the pros.

    • Yeah you can legit look up every players contract and how much money they are guaranteed in nfl nba and mlb

    • I’ve never heard anyone who isn’t American call it soccer

    • @Drew O’Ryan You'll get over it ;-).

  • Kettle naming all three potential QBs for his team is hilarious

  • I absolutely love Kittle's insights here. I also love that he's so supportive of other players getting paid. He's dead-on about people who are good enough to be in the NFL but it just doesn't happen for them. I played with a bunch of guys like that in college (and a bunch of other ones who were fortunate enough to have solid NFL careers).

  • Kittle seems super bright and straightforward acting. Obviously one of the best NFL players at TE!

  • Just found some respect for Kittle. Seems like a great dude! Humble!

    • assuming this is your first EVER hearing of Kittle. He's always been a great dude.

    • Awesome guy. He’s always himself; even during the playoff runs, he’s always having a grand ole time smiling and crackin jokes giving positive energy all around the guys. Can’t ever see the Niners without him.

    • @royalrod_🇼🇸 he's brings the energy and vibes for sure. 85 will be retired by the time he's done❤️💛

  • He's a great guy, very happy he played for the Hawkeyes

  • I actually thought he was gonna talk about direct deposit vs. a paper check and how many times per month they get paid.😄

  • The physical abuse but these NFL players take is insanity! My son played four years of D2 football... he's always told me even at that level, you're 1 tackle away from your career being done!!

  • Kittle with the shoutout to Bob Sanders, I played as him for years growing up. Loved the Colts, played as Manning on offense and Bob on defense

  • Kittle needs to be in the booth after his career is over. Or, better yet, a coach. Smart. Articulate. Loves Football. Has Fun.

  • As a diehard 49ers fan and a Theo Von fan, I’m excited to watch this

  • Football is insane. Listen to this guy, who absolutely loves to play, and just tells you the reality of how tough it really is. Imagine hearing from a guy who doesn’t love it as much.

  • Love kittles energy. Just feels like a genuinely awesome and good person.

  • George Kittle's enthusiasm and passion are infectious!

  • Well said George “Footballs really hard if you don’t love it “

  • George Kittle is in a class of his own. One of the most humble guys I’ve ever seen. And this is coming from a guy who can’t stand the 49ers.

  • Love Kittle acknowledging Bob Sanders....He was such a beast.....

  • George Kittle is one of the real & likeable "characters" in sports these days. He seems like he's just "himself" all the time -- and he's a great player. It's the same with Charles Barkley; he says exactly what he thinks, tells it like it is, and we love him for it. I think athletes should take notice, that if they just show their personality -- instead of being careful about what they say, and talking in sports cliches -- people respond to that. Travis Kelce is another tight end who, like Kittle, has a fun-loving personality and shows it. Both are great players, who also seem like good guys who aren't prima donnas. We need more players like them.

  • Also, you have to be significantly better than the crop of incoming college players to get a 2nd contract because signing a vetern to an extension has league minimum requirements. You have to be able to justify 2 3 times the pay of a guy on a rookie contract in a salary cap league.

  • George is the most interesting NFL player to listen to; no bluster, no catchphrases, one liners or memes. He speaks as a very intelligent, well educated person would.

  • The bob sanders shout out is so great!!! Finally somebody gave em respect

  • Kittle is freaking awesome! And his was a GREAT interview! Thanks Theo!!!!

  • Love George Kittle. One of my favourite players in the league

  • I remember when the Colts drafted Bob. He was a 2nd round pick. Another one of Bill Polian's gems. His draft profile basically read that he was reckless and hit really hard for his size. I don't think the Colts make their SB run in 2006 without Booger McFarland and a healthy Bob Sanders.

  • What a cool dude! I love him as a player he’s one of my favorite players!

  • 6:16 “running with the football in open space is awesome” is so true. You’ll find 80 year old men who can recall this from playing high school ball, with a HUGE smile on their face. It’s surreal

  • George Kittle is one of the most humble guys and so glad to have him on my team. Can't wait for the new look niners next year 😈

  • A lot of the Iowa boys that make it to the League are great guys, Kittle and Hyde are two that come to mind but Adrian Clayborn was an awesome dude to be around too.

  • Kittie, I think not getting hurt is also a skill, some players have it, others don't... the sad part is when you see dirty hits that ruin lives.

  • I love George's Humility. Great to see.

  • What a great point of view I happen to like this guy he is good on the field and he’s enjoying himself playing a kids game at the highest level. They just need a QB

  • Kittle gotta be one of the most down to earth players. We see him having fun & being happy on the field, but talking like this is something you don't hear from majority of the players

  • When he caught the ball against the Dallas cowboys was unbelievable

  • George is so saavy. He said all three QB names 😊

  • Little is an awesome person, I just wish they would care about the fans like they care about each other. The more they get paid the more we pay at the entrance, the concession , and every where else.

  • If you notice George mention Tom Brady, and his TWENTY THREE YEARS of health and dominance. For the fans, Tom Brady is the goat. For fellow players, Brady is hope.. he beat the game, the odds, every single thing.

  • The collab I never knew I needed

  • Great chemistry between these 2 wasn’t expecting that from Theo 👏 bravo

  • I have a TON of respect for George Kittle

  • One of the things I love about the 49er's is they play as a team. Just like George said, nobody is out there just for themselves. He is hard-core with blocking or whatever the 49er's need as a team. George is the man.

  • Never really thought about how much WR value they get out of Travis Kelce's 14 mil a year contract, actually insane.

  • Great call by Kittle, Bob Sanders was one of the most impactful defensive players I've ever seen.

    • Theo was asking him to name somebody he thought was talented who never really got a shot in the NFL and he named someone who missed first ballot HOF lmao

    • @lil zig zag well it was more like he missed his chance to get PAID paid. As good as Bob was, he should’ve been one of the highest paid safeties of all time (during his era). But instead injuries shortened his career where he only played in like 5 seasons.

  • I played in the NFL for 3 years and it was tough to get paid as a non drafted rookie.. like he said you gonna take advantage but then you have to produce x2 more than anyone and stay healthy enough to get to your next contract… Crazy… I’m teaching my kids Golf😂

    • Yeah you were not in the nfl 🤷‍♂️ no need to lie 😂

    • 😂😂 😂😂😂😂

    • @Gabriel Guerrero he probably was there are guys who float around practice squads for 3 years you never hear 1 word about

    • @Gabriel Guerrero I know a couple different people who were in the NFL you never heard of , lots of guys come and go and move around on practice squads

  • He knows all of this and still balls out.

  • Kittle is a badass TE and he's an awful lot smarter than he looks. 😂

  • Love football n always favor the TEs for sure, to me they are the Swiss army knife for the offense n Kittle definitely is in my top 5 favorites of all time, amazing player

  • Hope Jimmy the best. Let’s go 9ERS

  • I'm a Rams fan, but George Kittle is great! He plays the game the right way, with gratitude, and has fun doing it. Come to LA, brother!

  • One of my absolute favorite football players.

  • Bob sanders was always next to me at physical therapy while I was relearning how to walk. Great guy

  • The Bob Sanders ode was dope! One of my favorites too growing up! Hard not to be a fan of George

  • These two dudes I’d never think about being on a podcast together, but it makes total sense

  • Kittle is good at this. He will do well after football.

  • Todd Gurley could of been legendary in the NFL if he could of stayed healthy long enough. Still had a amazing career.

  • 49er fan since I was like 11… thanks for this-Kittle is beast but has a great personality too💕

  • Though they didnt mention it, there are only 1 TE on the field at anytime if at all. Sometimes two tight ends but thats rarer than none. But there will always be 2-3 WR on the field every offensive play, no matter what. Not to say Travis cant find another team if he wants more money but itll be difficult to find an open position that is imminently ready and that'll net him a loss.

  • Great interview and George is such an interesting person

  • Met theo dude is shy yet confident at the same time

  • Kelce will make more money in the long run by taking less, now. He'll be on a better team for longer, have a longer career, garner more rings, and make more money after football. He could really cash in almost anywhere else, but then he would be on a weaker team with even more pressure to produce, take more bad hits, etc. Even though he gets a lot of targets, they don't force the ball to him. They have enough complementary threats to scheme him open in all kinds of different ways.

  • It’s great George is making the mega NFL bucks buts he’s also set up for life with his personality and fame off the field. When he retires he could very comfortably make 6 figs as an analyst or much more in the WWE. Not every 3 day pick or UDFA can rely on that after they’re done

  • Kittle is such a character love it.

  • It was so easy to hate players back in the day bc they didn’t get a lot of face time. I want to dislike George bc he torches my team every time we play but now I’m like shit man he’s a cool dude chopping it up with one of my favorite comedians lmfao

  • Sometimes this guy irritated me because his attitude seems arrogant/show off. Then one game I could see in his eyes it was just pure fun, he was personally LOVING it ! I had to smile to everybody should love it just like a 12 yr old would . To hear his interview is even better because he seems extremely genuine and down to earth.

  • Big eagles fan but he’s one of my favorite NFL players ever!!

  • Much respect for George.....

  • Kittle made a name for himself being a beast TE with subpar Qb's like Jimmy G throwing to him. If he had Mahomes or Brady his whole career, he'd be a first ballot HOF'er.

  • That’s funny because I was a huge fan of bob sanders. I always traded him to my favorite team on madden video game. I thought I was the only one who was a huge fan. When he got traded to the chargers I was super excited but then he got injured and got cut 😢

  • Love how he gave Bob Sanders some love that was cool! Good to hear his name in the NFL circles.

  • Listening to Kelce and kittle talk is always cool.

  • I finally know what a franchise tag is 😂

  • Chiefs fan here. George Kittle is one of the coolest dude EVER. I really hope that he goes into coaching or something that keeps him in the public eye after he's done playing.

    • How does being a chiefs fan correlate with your opinion on another player?

    • @Complex Robb It shows I'm not biased in favor of Kittle because I'm not a 49'ers fan. Not being able to figure that out for yourself makes you more of a Simple Robb than a Complex Robb.

    • @Craig Campbell Why would anyone assume just cause you don’t like the 49ers you can’t like a player that just doesn’t make any sense.

    • @Complex Robb It makes perfect sense Simple Robb. Being a fan of another team means I'm not biased in favor of Kittle because Kittle doesn't play for my team.

    • @Craig Campbell That literally still makes 0 sense my guy. Anyone can be a fan of a player if they are great at what they do and entertaining being a fan of the team will make you like them more for sure but literally has 0 correlation as to why you wouldn’t like a player. Do the world a favor and don’t procreate.

  • In fantasy football, I always draft a good tight end early because they give me more points than most wide receivers or running backs.

  • That's a great point, if a tight end has better numbers than a wide receiver, why does the wide receiver get paid more? That's crazy.

  • Agree on Sanders, he was really good especially being undersized. He hit hard and did great the time he was healthy. another safety that never got to reach their peak, for even more tragic circumstances to me is sean taylor. He was soo good and becoming better, a real joy to watch.

  • He played in the nfl he was defensive players of the year and first ballot hall of Famer Theo: he played in the pros ? 🤣

  • You should get Aaron Rodgers as guest it would be ELECTRIC

    • They should do the interview in the darkness!

    • He wouldn't know if he was coming or not for a long time

    • I’d love to see Lamar, saquon, Ramsey, najee, fields, tua, an dk

  • Bob Sanders completely flipped the run defense for the Colts in 2006 when he came back in the playoffs. Biggest reason they were able to win the Super Bowl.

  • Shout out to kittle bro 😎 got a new fan in me 😂people never show big big sanders no love always Troy and reed that was my guy ✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾

  • Bob Sanders is my favorite colts player of all time. Twice I saw that guy hit someone so hard he passed out..

  • Love this dude. Gimme the rock, not at the cost of a win.

  • He’s dropping solid knowledge. It’s always fascinating how many people believe that all NFL players make millions not realizing how many aren’t anywhere near that. I remember having a drink with a dude who was in his second or third year in the nfl but he wasn’t a star player and he was talking about what he got paid. And was breaking down that yeah for normal people making a few hundred grand is a ton of money but when you considered that since he wasn’t a long term signed player he couldn’t lay down roots and the expense of his taxes and the like that it really wasn’t some major sum of money. It’s fun to hear the realistic breakdowns

  • I think TE don't get paid what they deserve because they're so chill, Travis should be one of the highest paid players but he's so humble and a team player that he's ok getting paid less for the best of the team

  • Love George Kittle even as a Bengals Fans
