  • Bruh she turned her hands. You can fool Doofenshmirtz in many ways, but not this.

    • Not to be the "technically" but the trick is you rotate your wrists, as "turning your hands" isn't a thing.

    • Also I have known this since I was a little kid your meant yo do it really fast so no one can tell she just Isint good at it

    • @130n35s bruh she rotated her wrists. You can fool Doofenshmirtz in many ways, but not this.

    • As long as there are no brown fedoras in the vicinity he cannot get fooled ever

  • She doesn't understand her own trick. She turned, she let go of whatever it is.😂

    • She didn’t say you had to keep a firm grasp on it. She said without removing her other hand. Her other hand technically was still touching the pen while she spun it around

    • @NinePalatine 20 🤓

  • "you cannot turn your hands, you cannot take your hands off of whatever it is" Literally did both those things

    • Thank you.

    • Yeah, she definitely turns it, but you don't take your hands off of the pen.

    • @Adam Davidson i tried it successfully. One hand needs to come off the pen..

    • @Francis M you keep your thumb on the pen as you move your fingers, then fingers are on the pen as you move your thumb. Your hand technically stays on the pen the whole time.

  • It's like a five-year-old telling you to look before they jump off the final step.

  • This is the level of sophistication and intelligence we expect from Tik Tok.

    • Dunno about that. After all, Neil deGrasse Tyson lives there too.

    • @JustLookingThankYou Because it's a way to reach the uneducated masses and possibly help educate them. Look at the vast majority of Tik Tok.

  • Aaaand that is likely the full breadth of her talent.... amazing

  • "You can't bullshit a bullshitter."

    • My CO used to say that 🤣😂

    • "Bullshit baffles brains"

    • "Next time you want to bullshit a bullshitter, why don't you bullshit each other instead." 😂😂😂

    • i'm gonna start quoting this

  • Another showing of dexterity. They wanted me to be a stenographer in the Army.

  • my coach taught me this during 2nd grade and i remember my whole class was running to get pencils to try it

  • It's very easy. She oversold that.

    • most definitely

    • Agreed. It's not even a fun trick to watch...

    • that's part of the trick... trying to hypnotise you to think it's harder than it is

    • But like, she turned her hand

    • I’ve been doing this trick since grade school and that was about 30 years ago. Lol

  • headline news : after millions of years of evolution, humans still enamored by hands

  • My teacher taught my class this in our first day of high school, its pretty easy. You hold the pencil using your left hand in the position that she showed in the video, grab the left side of the pencil with your right hand while still holding on to it. Then you just put it in the same position that she showed.

  • This is the prime example of "if you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bullsh*t" 😂

    • You will watch it twice. And then come to the comments to call it bullshit and that's extra engagement for them.

    • Love it 👏👏

    • @Dan Ígumajirtutouché

    • He got bedazzled for real with that Bullshido.

    • My dad taught me that one when it first started school. One of my favorite sayings while growing up.

  • "you cannot turn your hands, you cannot take your hand off of it" *literally does both*

  • I learned this when i was in second grade and went home to show it to my dad. Ill never forget that look of disappointment. Now imagine the look my dad would give seeing a grownass women doing it.

  • "you can't turn your hands" then she literally turns her hands.

    • You don’t even have to slow it down to see that. Both of them think they did something awesome…🤨

    • You just move your thumbs. It's an old bar trick.

  • Who else ranks this high on the "useless things I'll never need to remember " list?

  • I just show this video to my eight-year-old niece and she did it within five minutes without watching the video twice or slowing anything down. I asked if she already knew how it was done and she said “no but any idiot can figure it out uncle, just because someone thinks they found a cool trick doesn’t mean it’s cool”. I’m dead.😂

  • She’s gotta define what “can’t turn your hands” means. Bc the first thing she does is turn her right hand 90°…😂

    • She turns them both they go from parallel position to making a single line

    • She never lets go of the pen and she also doesn't turn her hands around she rotates them in a certain way to do the trick

    • @sapphire flame “Doesn’t turn” … “rotates”… 😂🤣🤦‍♂️

    • @sapphire flame rotation is a type of spin a spin is a type of turn a turn of her hand is indeed what she did

    • @sapphire flame pshhh, what video you watching? She obviously didn't rotate her hand, she twirled her hand

  • She breaks her own rule by taking her entire 1 hand off of it. 😂😂

  • It's so nice to see the developmentally different people of the country using social media

  • she legit took her hand off after she says you cant take your hand off

    • She didn't tho, both thumbs didn't saperate

    • She didn’t. I know this trick. And why is everyone saying it’s so easy like I legit tricked like 7 full grown men and they were so confused even when I showed them exactly how to do it

    • She didnt,

    • @smart walrus it is easy. I did watch it 3 times but not in slomo. And can do it with both thumbs on. Easy

    • @smart walrus just because people are stupid doesn't mean the trick isn't easy, both can be true at the same time.

  • Give her a golden star. This is her life long achievement? Smh

  • These people have been given too much time and life.

  • "you cannot turn your hands, you cannot take your hands off of the whatever it is"..... She definitely did both 😭😭😭

    • No she didn't lol it's really easy!! 😂

    • I don’t know what she meant by, “can’t turn your hands”, but she just rolled her thumb on the pen to stay in contact with it

    • @Ray exactly

    • She scootches it over to recenter it to make it look like she doin somethin special

    • Person- If you really want to know... You first rotate one hand--let's say your left, around the pen so your hands are pointing in opposite directions, palm to palm. Clasp the pen with the hand you just moved (your left hand), but OVER your other thumb (right thumb) so that it's on the outer edge (right side of your right thumb). Rotate your other hand (right hand) the rest of the way to flip it over completely.

  • Took hers hands off, moved her thumbs, wrong rotation… She failed to do everything she told us not to do.

  • Wow i still remember this! Back in 2015 my maths teacher told us this trick in class and everyone was trying so hard and he helped everyone who was struggling to be able to do it. The good old days...

    • 2015 was only 8 years ago...

    • @David Smith 8 years is still a long period of time. Isn't it?

  • *blatantly turns hands* "You can not turn your hands" Gurl, wait wuh Me looking at this in the middle of the night: *dang girl that did NUMBERS* If you have a teal pen but use a brown cap, DOES IT BECOME PERRY THE PLATYPUS!!

    • Wait people lie to bamboozle you for fun? I will have to tell my magic guild!

    • She only turned one hand, is my guess. Like how the other coin is a dime.

    • I have a comment sitting at 157k likes and I'm genuinely perplexed by it. My biggest comments are some of my lowest effort stupidest comments. Nothing to do with your original comment, everything to do with your edit.

    • @Arterca :3 My best one was about butt plugs and all I said was "without a base, without a trace." Internet fame is about dumb luck and middle school humor.

    • @Arterca :3 thanks! I wanted to say thanks in a way that didn't seem like I was so humbled by people enjoying something I said, instead adding to the joke

  • The worst part is that she probably thinks that she is some kind of a viral badass for doing something this dumb 😂

  • What do they mean "you can't turn your hands" The hand definitely make, like, a 90° turn between the start and end position.

    • Thank you, that's what I thought.

    • Was gonna say she didn't follow her only rule

    • @Behlockae The King 😂😅

    • I think she meant turn them around to grip the other side of the pen

    • The proper phrasing is “you can’t let go, has to have contact the whole time “

  • My three year old nephew showed me this last month. Had to pretend to be amazed, bc I've "learned" in Kindergarden back in the 80s.

  • I feel like she also has a different definition of “turn your hands” than most people do because she was definitely turning her hands!

  • She's a car salesperson in reality

  • You can fool our president with that trick but you can’t fool me

  • Did this in grade school.... we didn't have any other form of entertainment in class.

    • I came to say the same thing as soon as I seen her hands in that position I knew what it was

    • @Keith Evans the girls in my class were like, "I bet you can't do it!" I did it lol

    • Never seen it before but I guess I was the classes entertainment, I acted like a clown at school and amazingly I haven’t lived up to my potential, who would have guessed 😂

  • In India we used to do it just to impress others or try to be cool by doing it but that time we were not even teenager 😂

  • "...so that's why, perry the platypus, i decided to build the reveal-your-trick-inator!"

  • Come on guys she really IS as smart and important as she thinks she is....

  • She's delusional!

  • And CS-tv makes slowing down videos super easy, barely an inconvenience.

    • Going frame-by-frame on a CS-tv video is TIGHT!

    • Yeah yeah yeah!!!

    • Sup my boi Milo. How's Diogee?

    • @Constantine he’s doing good, I just wish we would get a 3rd season already

    • What do you mean? You can't slow down shorts.

  • It’s call the art of distraction, she just clearly made it sound harder and distracted you from all the smack talk of hers

  • My teacher showed me this in 5th grade of elementary school and said who figures it out gets an A, figured it out in about 20 seconds.

  • I had to watch it like 3 times just to realize that was looping… I think I should go to sleep now

  • No matter the lack of craps I couldn't care about, somebody keeps flushing my toilet

  • Can't con a con man and you can't lie to a liar. Now why don't you try and follow your own rules you set.

  • She didn't even do the full motion where you bring it back to the original position by going the same direction.

    • And not just by reversing the motion! I've fooled too many people with this, even doing it slowly. People are dumb!!!

    • @8iker I was 8 when I learned this trick. Not impressive

  • She thinks she sneaky, but she’s slow as a sloth

  • You just have to choose one hand and shift it around the object. The object and your non-chosen hand doesn't have to do anything but flip over

  • These are the trick your friends taught you in school

    • For real. Same “You’ll never get this” attitude too 😅

  • It’s easy when you do what she DOES, not what she SAYS 😂

  • i love these comments , I learned this when I was 7 from my grandpa, just never let your thumbs separate and the pen follows the path , just try with no pen first , just put one thumb under the other and do a circly thing

  • This just unlocked a forgotten skill from middle school

  • One thing I can't stand is when someone assumes that everyone else is as stupid as they are.

  • Social media + The overwhelming desire to be noticed = Histrionic personality disorder

  • Up next she explains why the secret of life is a secret.

    • And after the big secret is revealed she's gonna show us how to use a fork... I can't wait!

    • @nick grennan but that's the secret to using chopsticks.

    • Is this the SECRET only 5 men know in the whole world?

    • 42, and the question is the Dylan song "Blowin in the Wind.

  • She says you can not turn your hands, but she did, fraud.

  • Women are pretty strange. They think men are stupid I guess. I had that figured out before she even did it.

  • She immediately broke her own rules

  • Lol my step dad taught me this when I was very young, and now I do it today around my coworkers and stuff and it literally baffles them and it's so funny to watch them try it

  • Are you telling me I could have posted myself doing this trick I learned in 3rd grand and Dan povenmire would have done a duet?!?

    • Truthhhhh😂

  • I used to do this in school to get girls numbers and never texted them because my parents never bought me a phone.

  • I'm still trying to figure out how "Rajesh" did that finger-waggling trick to "Sheldon" in that one episode of The Big Bang Theory.😶

  • I did this in 2nd grade. 55 years ago. She's so proud.

    • Hopefully good memories, friend!

    • It's nice when you remember the little tricks and playing you did as a kid. I was that kid that mastered the pencil dexterity, and eventually in martial arts started doing it with practice (same weight, shape and details, balance, etc, but made out of a hard polycarbonate and the blade is black to show it's a training knife in case you haven't seen one (I've only seen them in select martial arts studios I've taught at and military people/families sometimes end up with one lying around. The real ones are actually balanced, like a good knife is, to practice both throwing and defense. We would cover a third of the tip of the blade in pool cue chalk so we'd know if/where it hit in beginning practice before the switch to dulled knives. Then you switch to sharp blades, and where/who you're throwing at really changes lmfao. TLDR: Pencil fidgeting in school led to me choosing knife speciality in my martial arts career haha, some details above if you're curious!

  • Let’s see this woman try to fix her car watching a CS-tv video now.

  • She'd be shook if she saw how rotisserie chickens are tied.

  • I can't slow down a CS-tv short, so I'll just guess that the magic happens when the pen is vertical and covered up by both hands.

  • you can't turn your hands but she literally turns her fkin hands

  • This is a trick that I learned before CS-tv even existed.

    • Yeah that was the hottest shit in like... 7th? Grade? 6th grade? For me, I must add. Fond memories.

    • @Doc Crazy try second grade

    • @Critter Whisperer sure thing. Lemme just get out my time machine to go back to second grade to learn it earlier Some people I swear

  • And this folks WILL NOT save the world

  • this used to be popular on my junior high. everyone used to do it lol

  • That was amazing!! She’s brilliant Said NO ONE

  • My uncle taught me this when I was 13. I'm in my 30's now and do it to kids that say "prove that you're a witch! Do magic!" (I do arts and crafts and have a black cat lol)

  • She just moved her left hand out and put it the other way and turned her hand around with the pen holding it. She really thought she could get views by people rewatching it to figure it out 😂😂😂😂

  • we did that back and forth in primary school 20 years back :'D

  • We used to do that move in school, basically a 100 times while waiting for class to start. Took 2 seconds to teach it to someone else.

  • my dad would do this trick for years until he finally taught me how to do it when i was 12. when you don’t know the secret it’s actually pretty hard to recreate lmao

  • Glad to see the shit we did in grade school still kickin

  • Perfect example of devils are in the details.

  • she says you can't take your hand off it but she totally does 🤷🏻‍♂️

  • Its so easy to slightly control people by saying “you can’t do this” 😂

    • or saying "it's safe and effective."

    • yeah i instantly close the video when I hear "you cant do this" or other "bait" phrases. you already know there will be no payoff.

    • Hypnotic suggestion

  • Reminds me of the finder trick from when I was a kid. Put your hands together, fingers flat against their partner from your other hand. Fold your middle fingers, twist, then move the middle fingers around. Looks strange, but many people were unable to figure it out.

  • She sounded so smug and it was so not complicated lmao

  • You basically just gotta keep the area between your thumbs and index fingers facing each other while still on the pen, and rotate

  • I was shown this when I was in middle school. I went home and spent hours working on it until I figured out how it was done.

  • She just said you couldn’t figure it out so she could distract you from figuring it out. Classic verbal misdirection.

    • See, it's not "Verbal Misdirection" to flat out lie. "You can't turn your hands" That's establishing a rule to whatever she's telling you to do. It's not that she's doing something with the distraction of saying you can't figure it out, it's that if you are following the established rule she's giving you, it is literally impossible. That's not so much clever as just hoping that your eyes don't work well enough to see her rotate her wrist and turn her hand. This is more like just gaslighting people who have bad eyesight. Which, given all the other comments I'm reading, practically everyone is saying the same.

  • Moral: If you want to impress people, try doing something impressive, instead.

  • "You can't took off your hand" *Starts taking off her hand from the pen and turning her hand*

  • She Violates her own rule: "You cannot take your hand off the object" Her Left Hand leaves the object...

  • Ah, the wisdom of the ages passed on down to another generation... or in this case just on to a straggler that missed it from the 3rd grade where it is traditionally done.

  • My dad taught me this when I was like 7 years old. He's been gone for quite a few years now. I've taught it to my daughters, and 5 of my 6 grands (youngest is only 3) BUT she didn't do it correctly she removed her hand!

  • Any school kid can do this without even watching the video for a second time

  • We used to do this kind of stuff in school... Never thought I'd ever see anyone do it to someone who was not a child

  • The pink marker is great giving a visual to what's happening

  • Is she serious right now? Does she think we're all morons? My 4 year old grandson was doing this and he figured it out on his own. Go lay down somewhere, woman.

  • You could show this to jailbirds you can show this to content creators. They still won’t know the same.

  • (Me who was the kid in class that flipped pencils instead of doing the class work) "look what they must go through to realize a fraction of our power!"

  • Damn, elementary days nostalgia

  • Orrrr… unless you’re a hip hop dancer and walking around practicing tutting for no reason for hours… I got it immediately. She’s very proud of her impossible probable not that hard of a trick 😂

  • I remember EricSurf6 teaching me this over a decade ago. Good times. Brings me back.

    • Wow you’re so cool.. 🤡

  • "No matter how may time I show you this, you're not going to be able to figure it out" Translation: No matter how many times someone showed me this, I couldn't figure it out.
