respect to these cameramen for somehow not laughing straight into the mic
They laught whole day after recording:)
They don't have microphones so they probably are lauht you just can't hear them
"Princess Diana had one of those"
2:15, I can say with confidence that is by far the calmest I've ever seen anyone during a 100+ mph hydroplane/spinout.
He just accepted his fate😂
He wasn’t even scared. He was just confused and slightly suprised by this spinout XD
It is impressive, but it's probably easier to remain calm when you're in the middle of a track with no other vehicles or obstacles to hit (and possibly emergency services already on standby), than if it happens while you're banging down the motorway surrounded by traffic, lampposts, signs etc.
@Deco Dolly exactly, big slide but not much around to hit
Whats he to fear???
"Do you think they'll be A: Sympathetic, or B: A couple of-" "NICE WORK!"
"No, they're going to be a couple of"
Ill tell tell you what happend..
@Linus dersjö A man came and pushed it over 🤣
@Harley B lol
@Harley B No, you crashed it on its side 😂
Clarkson hitting the brick wall in the lorry was brutal.
Kai Hamzah ‘Lorry’ is the English word for ‘semi truck’.
Kai Hamzah lorry is another word for truck
“A lorry” “What sort?” “A big one”
@Léttuce What colour is it James?
Yea that one seemed a bit too much, mustve been a miscalculation somewhere
As much as he crashes a lot, Hammond has got balls for pushing himself. Definitely a racing driver at ❤️
maybe in the heart but not his feet and hands lol
He's as indestructible as a 1988 Toyota HiLux
How these guys manage to tie their shoelaces unharmed is beyond me
I love how when Jeremy is in the flat spin on the test track, he stays calm and collected. True experience at play.
Look again. First he swore, and then he was looking a little too terrified to speak. The look on his face at the end was of a man that had just escaped death.
@Anthony Glynn death from what... spinning on an empty airfield?
@Nino Joel If you look carefully and know the track you are looking at, Jeremy spun out on the LONG back straight before the second last corner. So he spun off the track to the left, and onto the grass, and then back onto the track, and then onto the grass again. Now luckily he transferred off the grass and back onto the track relatively smoothly, yet if he had been completely side on as he transferred back onto the track, the risk of digging in and tumbling was high, and he wasn't wearing a helmet. Jeremy dodged a bullet through luck more than anything. It was a seriously dangerous situation.
@Anthony Glynn I have seen BMWs spinng and crash at the German Autobahn 2 times already. They are insanely safe. The last wrecked my ex colleges VW T6 and hit the barrier at 160 KH. The driver was healthy enough to jump out and kick his BMW or what was left of it. As long as you don't come to an almost immediate stop from hitting a solid object head on you will be fine. They are also verry low from factory and have a low center of mass. Flipping one is next to impossible. You'd have hit trim of that BMW with something solid to get it rolling Thats a whole other story with the other cars they sometimes drive on that track thought.
@Nino Joel Yeah No. There's nothing magic about BMW's or German cars in general. Jeremy was clearly terrified from the spin, and if he had crossed the second last straight side on, the risk of rolling was high. It wasn't just a flat spin on a grass field.
I got a idea for a compilation! Do one with "The producers said..."
“A message from Mr. Wilman...”
That would be an hour. DO IT!
I like that, even if it is 24h long 😁
"Here's your steak Mr clarkson"
''back to the stufio''
3:54 imagine driving along on your local gravel road in your Lada and driving head first into a Lamborghini, not the first car you'd expect to crash into there
Classic Dacia!
not good news
Sir that wasn’t a Lada that was a classic Dacia
4:32 dude it’s a miracle they survived this one
Not a miracle, Jeremy's bodywork is just really durable!
8:44 James’ death stare after Clarkson hit him 😂
7:57 The honk makes this whole scene comedy gold.
Just before every Hammond crash watch his face, he goes from driver concentration, to five year old caught with cookie!
He’s got the height of a 5 year old too 🧍🏻♂️
I know some of their stunts and stuff was scripted but how these lads have been getting away with this for 20+ years is beyond me XD
James reversing the Merc into Hammond because he forgot the reverse gear wasn't bottom right is pure comedy
Hammond yelling and across the line at the food market had me in tears.
And the double take by may as he looked up from the stopwatch
I like how Richard Hammond will find a way to crush or hit stuff with absolutely anything it's just hillarious)
11:19 will always be my favourite 😂
The world needs these three to be immortal and do this show for eternity.
Hammond is immortal nothing can kill him
No one beats Hammond for crashing.
Nope with 3 wheeler in was soo funny:) Or 12:57 With style:)
1:18 That was genuine anger in May's shout.
CLARKSON!
Watch how May puts his hand up to push the table if it comes at him. That crash was staged.
@Tucker Brandstrom Plus notice how far away Hammond was stood, why would he be standing there? Still funny though as always.
9:19 Probablly coolest crash in TopGear! Looks at that cabin moving, geezz!
I think that's the one where he seriously injured his neck.
@Ian Samuelson Yep also you cant see that eweryday.
the cabin are mounted on pneumatic Cylinders and can be tilted forwards to access the engine and Gear Box while service, a lock which is combination of Primary and secondary locks holds the cabin from tilting forward, so cabin moving like that is just a normal thing. Happens when you accidentally brake stop the vehicle.
8:46 rare image of Clarkson apologizing for a real mistake
May's face at 6:02 gets me going every time. And then the immediate, "Oh, sht!" followed by more laughter. One of my favorite moments in Top Gear, tbh.
4:53 James shouting "Mayday" got me quite hard. He propably had enough so he called it a day XD
I read this soooo wrong...
Just the best thing to be on t.v ever!I This was the show that I was allowed to stay up and watch, even though it was bed time. Some great memories of staying up late with my dad, and just feeling like this is so awesome, and it was all because of these guys and the giant kahoonas they have. They put their lives on the line over and over again, whether it be the death roads they've driven, which lets face it could've been. You'll never see the like again given prime on the telle wacha. Oh what a time
2:07 As an American I can safely say yes, I've been on payment flat on my back
as have i🤣
Same here
17:29 I absolutely lost it when I first saw this.
It's James Mays laughing that gets me every time.
17:00 Hands down the funniest bit here. Its just perfect.
richard and jeremy going at it on the bridge and then james just going “monkeys :D” brings me so much joy
19:25 The accident that hurts the most
8:50 the moment when JC is explaining what happened to his car, "So working, then stop..." to a mechanic. JM "That describes most breakdowns 😂😂"
One of my favorite episodes from Top Gear is the Teen driver challenge like at 11:19 when Clarkson drives the car into whatever it is that he hit. Lol they were supposed to be super quiet and Clarkson said he could do it better than Hammond. Lol
12:53 - 13:08 Jeremy Clarkson drives a Rolls Royce into a swimming pool with SpongeBob music playing in the background…one of the most underrated moments in television history lol
14:13 Hammond is not even safe in his own backyard 🤣
These guys are absolute legends
7:05-7:12 , that laugh is contagious 😂😂😂
7:57 that honk has mee weezing
A trip down memory lane, when Top Gear was worth watching!
You could feel Jeremy's pain when he went thru them bricks in the lorry. Ouch!
"well help yourself to my brakes why don't you!!!" "I've lost a skull!!" "Monkey!!" Best trio of lines in that whole special 😂😂
9:19 the one time in my own opinion that the producers went a bit too far
“He was committed to get to 60” “But he didn’t did he?!”
Capt slow screaming 'CLARKSONNNNNNN!!' And his insane choking laugh are amongst the best moments for me.
I don't know if there's anything funnier than Clarkson rolling the Reliant
1:19 exquisite rage, engaged 🤣
6:54 yes fuel was really only double digits not so long ago. Plus 2:20 so serene for going sideways
It's an odd thought that Jeremy's Vietnam bike crash is the third most serious accident/injuries in their history.
7:30 that entire Modern Peugeot Drivers segment I was literally rolling on the floor howling with laughter. Easily the funniest thing they've done 😂
3:09 love when James says bollocks and then a tsunami hits the camera
As much as we all joke about him crashing all the time I really do not enjoy the way Hammonds legs twitch at at 14:33.
He’s doing the right thing which is to check if his legs are still ok. You often see f1 drivers do the same thing.
he rather looks like he passed out for a second and twitching / seizure
Seems like he was genuinely hurt. A solid stop from 30 is more intense than most people think, I have some personal experience 😂
@Dave Marshall he shattered his sturnum
How Hammond saved that Noble is quite impressive.
The three must have made the producers mad when writing the lorry episode Jeremy’s an richards are brutal
This team are always funny especially when pranks are great
10:34 *Jeremy:* "What was that?" *Chris:* "I was getting in my seat." *Jeremy:* "Sorry, I thought someone had crashed into us."
Pls do the “maybe we can edit that out” compilation next
Got loads of videos prepped. want to get those out of the way?
@Niks V yes please we want more
At 9:35, what did he expect? That's the arrangement railways use for the end of tracks to stop trains!
Shining proof that seatbelts do save lives. And we can all be thankful for that. 👍👍
Us: How many crashes an human is able to do ? Hammond: Yes.
I legit can’t watch Jeremy’s lorry smashing through the brick wall, I’m surprised that was allowed.
what a life these blokes have led ,funniest car show ever.
Leave a like for the cameraman who filmed hammonds big crash and dropped the camera to run towards it 🦸♂️
2:17 im so shocked at how a big ass SUV did not flip... going over 120mph... went from pavement to grass to pavement and then grass again... HE IS SO LUCKY it did not flip.
2:15 Sigma male analyzes the situation, determines that possibility of fatality is minimal, therefore stays calm and collected
What the hell's a Sigma male?
@Rufus Greenleaf i don't know anymore
a what male?
*Drive forever music starts playing* _Sigma rule 3567_ Always remain calm possiblity of death only scares betas...
@Harley B 😂
As an American, I like to think this is just what normally happens on the road in the UK
I love top gear a lot, i grew up watching top gear. This was the moment i was waiting for. Gggooooooddd job on making this video.
This is the holy triumvirate.......The 3 wisemen.....The 3 BEST presenters on television. God I miss the Top Gear episodes that used to run on BBC America like 25 times a week. Now we have the Grand Tour with like ONE episode a year. Why did Clarkson have to go and punch that director over some soup?
I'd love a compilation of the times they worked with military kit or the armed forces but it'd be like an hour long lol
I think driving the rolls in the pool is part of top gear history
"Ohh, well help yourself to _my_ brakes, why not?" "I've lost a skull--" "Monkeys." Even _in_ context, this makes little sense.
2:19 The mouth blur makes me laugh. Gotta protect lip readers from the profanity.
Hammonds luck during crashes is stupidly lucky. Maybe he is the world's luckiest man?
11:02 "M O N K E Y S"
James has his priorities straight
The Peugeot drivers episode always has me in stitches haha
One of the best parts is where Hammond gets out of the grocery store, in the car, on its side
19:57 killed me
I wonder is Richard thinks “oh shit, the guys are never gonna let this one go” as he’s crashing
1:10 Was not expecting that
Most of these are funny but watching The Vampire at the end gives me chills still
Ok let's count.. How many crashes did Clarkson, Hammond, May, and the Stig made individualy?
I'm not even bothered you showed a crash more than once😂
I never thought it before, but they're literally stunt drivers.
Some of these are hilarious, some I just think….”ow, that would have hurt”
If Top Gear was all about Hammond Clarkson would go "On tonight's show.... Richard has a crash Richard has a crash And Richard has a crash!
TONIGHT! Hammond crashes a cheap car, Hammond crashes an expensive car, And Hammond nearly dies!
these 4 guys are the best, the stig is the best
4:31 scariest crash i have ever seen😱
00:00 "Uh oh. Oh I've spun, ooh shit Oof! Shit! Oh dear, I've done a bad thing" is simply my favourite reaction to putting an expensive car into a wall ever.
19:00 Clarkson : "HAMMOND YOU IDIOT, YOU REVERSE INTO THE SPORTS LORRY!" (Top Gear : Burma Special)
James May in the airship caravan had me tears!! 😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
2:30 I love as he's spinning he's wiping his nose dear God to be that confident of a driver
I mean he was probably going around 20 mph at that point and he knew he wasn't going to hit anything
@Brandon Gao Still. Well no different from me understeering from ice and taking a drink of coffee lol
@Brandon Gao I get what your saying now
"A bus full of children, a bus full of handicap children and i saw some ginger ones on there" OMG I'm crying. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
can it be stated which crash was the first that made Richard realise he could make money out of it?
at 4:11 poor guy was thinking he´s going to jail
I still wonder what caused Jeremy to fall off of his motorcycle in Vietnam
Possibly the funniest out of context comment I’ve ever seen.
Akira. Possibly karma
My guess: gravity
"I had nowhere to go I was where I was" lmfao I'm gonna have to use that one
1:46 famous last words
The ultimate "HAMMOND!" collection. With guests.
19:38 i crashed the expensive one so they gave me a cheap one I also crashed the cheap one
