  • Everything wrong with the movie is found here: cs-tv.org/tv/video-pPUey-qBNAI.html My favorite is that there is no DNA connection to all the Spider people.

  • I have not seen all your videos yet. Is there a 10/10 review? I found funny the following fact on your videos. If movies are bad, you do not even review them at all (like Aquaman) I mean, that's fair. In middle term movies, you have a lot to say. And I like your reviews, however; If the movie is great, is boring to point out the good things? I loved when you pointed out stuffy stuff stuffed with good things on the Superbad film. IDK, I'm just curious about what is a 10/10 for you. Maybe finishing the playlist I may find a surprise.

  • So I know I said I wouldn't do any spiderman videos anymore

  • Are You trying to Tell me that people thought that Spiderman 2 was the greatest! *Coughs in homecoming Great vid

  • Watched this movie expecting it to be just the black take on spiderman. Got something way better than that. Really fantastic movie, definitely something I said I'd watch again right afterwards.

  • ''So I know I was done with Spider-Man...''

  • Yep this is better that spiderman 2

  • You know a movie is good when Cosmonaut says he has nothing to say about it

  • just found this channel and OHMY this is good channel

  • It's genuinely one of the best comic book movies by far. It's one of the few comic movies that actually feels like it's a comic book in motion. That's not an easy feat. I loved it.

  • I'm going to get backlash but I thought this movie was just ok 6/10 I thought the villains were bad. All of them are obstacles, Kingpin has a good backstory but he isnt in the movie too much. The animation which everyone knows is amazing is amazing. Miles is a good protagonist, the characters from the other dimensions are pretty funny but most of them have no point of being there except for fighting the bad guys.

  • Spider-Verse

  • "Bagel!"

  • I loved this movie and you know what?, I watch this movie at cinema with my brother alone, there was no one else on the room it felt so good having that and had to watch it without people being loud or annoying

  • As a person who generally dislikes hip-hop, I still love the ost of this movie. I feel no shame in saying this is my favorite movie of all time.

  • I honestly didn't think I would like this movie when I watched it. I came in with no expectations and in the end, it turned into my favorite Marvel movie.

  • I hate Amazing Spider-Man movies, but Emma Stone's performance is the best thing to ever happen to Gwen Stacy. It seems like a huge inspiration for Spider-Gwen, the only incarnation of Gwen Stacy I have ever actually cared about. Before Emma Stone Gwen Stacy was pretty much always just a damsel in distress. Well no, in Spider-Man 3 she was given Mary Jane's personality, while Mary Jane acted like Gwen Stacy. I still giggle at a natural red head playing Gwen Stacy and the natural blond playing Mary Jane.

  • the music made me cringe every time. definitely should re do the whole movie with a new soundtrack

  • I thought the thumbnail said quiche.

  • It's an interesting episode of a Saturday morning cartoon. Just longer with a team up.

  • Hard to believe that the same company created the Emoji movie.

  • Gwen is Waifu

  • Yeah,miles just a black Peter Parker 😑.

  • I'm wondering if the sequel will have different spider men/women or pigs or whatever ,I just hope miles will be back 😀.

  • I love miles character arc😊.

  • I can't wait for the sequel and his review ☺.

  • He better review the sequel 😤.

  • I loved the visuals and the main characters are well done, like you said. Though I do think that the side-spiders were somewhat under used and didn't have enough screen time. Like the Noir guy, Peter Porker, and Penni (btw, was Penni Japanese or Korean? Her intro is Japanese, but "Penni" sounds much more Korean). For example, there's a brief scene with Penni being said over the robot being destroyed, but the spider is fine, not to mention we haven't really seen any character whatsoever from the robot, so what the hell? Were we supposed to care, or was it just some random, out-of-place joke? I also disliked the slight sexual tension between Miles and Gwen, mainly because I adore Gwen's design and she's an instant waifu for me, so I don't like to see her get paired with anyone unless I really, really like them, and Miles wasn't that great, just kind of decent to me (still good dialogue, though). I would've liked to explore Kingpin more and somehow give him some closure regarding his family, and how the hell Pink Panther ended up with him.

  • The vocal songs in general I didn't really like.

  • I really really REALLY don't like hip hop and rap music but this movie is amazing ( I lied that hypnotize scene made me so giddy)

  • im pretty sure a lot of the songs were actually original tracks made for the movie that were also hip hop

  • I continually read this title as "cosmonaut quiche" without refrain

  • homcoming is the best

  • I didn't hate this movie at all but I still think spiderman 2 was better I didn't like this movie as much because I could predict everything that happened in the movie to a captain extent like I didn't expect Gwen to be there a few week earlier than Peter B or how they killed that first Spidey but everything else was to a T because of this I got bored with the movie a lot faster than I wanted to all the spideys were great but three of them were completely unnecessary in every way they were put in there to be funny and that was it they added nothing more to the movie Miles Peter B and Gwen were the best part of the movie and they help keep it from being too boring I just thought it was an average movie and I feel like I'm the only one on the planet who thinks that

  • For me, I wasn't too keen on the whole trope of "Superhero isn't good enough to meet their full potential, but after brooding and/or getting a pep talk, they believe in themselves and become much more powerful to defeat the bad guy". But still, I wasn't sure a Spiderman movie would be able to beat Homecoming for me but god damn did they manage it

  • Dude the music was one of the best things about this film

  • I just like how they made some dialogue parts or what the characters are thinking they make it look like it’s from the comics, honestly that was really creative

  • If you've already seen The Lego Movie, you know this film was gonna be killer. Also the lyrical songs are not licensed, they were produced for the films for its OST.

  • Only thing i wish they had more of was miles’ suit used more often

  • did i watch spider verse? yes did i love it? yes am i watching someone else to also claim that they love it? of course why? because i love this film so much

  • Why did miles uncle become prowler

  • This movie is so boring I felt asleep. You guys are truly weird. All MCU movies are better than this, and those are supposed to be not artistic at all.

    • Good for you. That means you're normal.

    • @stratogustav, i have never heard of Sonic Youth, and i'm not sure how this is relevant to the topic at hand.

    • I actually spoke with hipsters that think Sonic Youth was a popular band as big as AC/DC.

    • @stratogustav, you saying i'm the hipster? Google's definition states ''a person who follows the latest trends and fashions, especially those regarded as being outside the cultural mainstream.'' Note how it says ''outside the cultural mainstream'', yeah thats you buddy.

    • Believe it or not, hipsters are not the majority.

  • tbh this film was a love letter to spiderman and it's beautiful, it tells the audience what the true essence of being a superhero is, being it doesn't matter who you are you can be spiderman, it celebrates all of spiderman's cinematic history with pride and is such a great story in itself it makes me want more, homecoming made me want more but this is like i will rob the blueprints to the sequel just to stare at them and get a fix. I want this style of animation to take off because it's revolutionary by having most scenes set to 24FPS and sometimes at 12 holding 2 frames is such a risky play in the world of 60fps but it works so well honestly it's like what pixar did for 3d animation but almost like we're overlooking it right now till it becomes huge later on.

  • *My family said this movie sucked.* They said maybe the story was good, but the visuals were bad. They said a movie should be beautiful. They didn't like the "obvious" Nike product placement. They said Miles was just a brat who vandalizes signs. When watching the end credits, they said it was like Spider-Man on drugs. They didn't even stay for the post-credit scene.

    • Damn, that sucks. They need to get cultured.

  • the songs are made for the movie

  • Cody's theme though

  • 1:28 yeah that’s only you

  • Kingpin looks hella thicc 🔥👌

  • Spider-Noir makes you feel like Nicholas Cage 10/10 -IGN

  • seeing your reviews on movies it seems you really prefer childish/happy movies instead of dark themed movies. if you find a movie that has a dark theme and never had a happy moment you cherry pick the bad parts and blow it out of proportion just to make other people hate the film lol

  • DC fans : At least we have better animated movies than Marvel Spiderman Into the Spiderverse : Hold my sony contract

  • I still think homecoming is the best spiderman film but spiderverse was still good.

  • best spiderman movie in 10 years.

  • I still don’t like it yea yea call me a hater I’m waiting 4 it but my opinion still stands

    • [Verbose Bot] 1. It’s 2 pretty easy 2 predict 2. It’s really boring 3. Don’t @ me

    • Why don't you like it? Can you give some details?

  • I like the movie but yeah the hip-hop tracks do get a little repetitive by the end. Also, just because a character is black doesn't mean they are automatic hip-hop fans. It's a cliche I wish would end already. Why couldn't Miles be a rocker or a punk fan? That would have been far more unique and interesting.

  • Did anyone peep when aunt mae called dr. Octavius... LIV....? When she was first introduced she said "my friends call me liv, my enemies call me doc oct".... and aunt mae in his universe was very tech savy... what if her n doc oct knew each other???

  • Did he forget about Spider-Man homecoming

  • Honestly this is the best spiderman At least in my opinion

  • Yea this is the best one

  • That title was held by Spider-Man 2 a long time Previously he made a section of a video making fun of it....

  • The message of the movie is amazing imo

  • 5/10. The pacing was all pver the place, the story isnt investing, the soundtrack is just jerking itself off even when its not shitty hip-pop (not actual hip-hop), the writing is ok, not great, its what you expect from a movie trying to be hip, fisk looks retarded as do most of the villains, and the references are so fucking stale its so bad. References do not make a good movie. Idk why everyone thinks this. This movie was ok but because its a marvel animated spiderman movie in late 2010 era everyone says its perfect and says everyone else should say its perfect. The animation is good but not earth-shattering, like really? Its just a few more lines and polygons moving in a different way.

  • No it isn't good, it fucking sucks like most marvel films.

  • Tbh, I kinda feel like people overpraise this animated film. Sure it's good but it has some serious flaws. First of all - the villian. While Kingpin had a fine motivation, he still was really boring and forgettable villian which really Just feels one-dimentional and badly-written. I also has some problems with Gwen Who also was really boring and forgettable character with no personality, development or interesting backstory(tho she might get better in spin-off about her). Spideys from other dimensions are funny but the problems with them is that they're nothing more but comic reliefs. Spider Ham could be enouth but creators made Spider Noir and Penni Parker comic reliefs too which's unforchunate since these two characters could be really interesting and well developed characters and it looks like creators even try to somehow develop Penni Parker in the climax but it didn't work. Another thing which I don't like about Spider Verse is songs which're Just awful and forgettable and they doesn't fit to the theme of Spider Verse well(tho the sountracks are mostly great). And The Last thing which actually doesn't hurt Spider Verse much but it makes Spider Verse much weaker compare to some other animated films is its deepness. The film doesn't give much things to think about after watching it and The message is really simple and while it's not a bad thing since the quality of the film is always more important but then I compare to some Pixar films and films like Fantastic Mr Fox or Coraline, I feel like people overprize it even more. Overall - film is solid but it has it's own problems. Final score:8/10

  • 4:36 I agree with you completely

  • This was the first Marvel movie I ever saw - I'm an animation nerd, not a comic nerd - and the movie is still spectacular from the perspective of someone new to the MCU.

  • I’m so glad he agrees this has been the best movie Spider-Man so far. I’m the youngest in my family and so when I ever I say anything Spider-Man thing is better than the Sam R. Movies it’s just Gen Z propaganda

  • Man, Marvel's Spider-Man and Into the Spider-Verse, 2018 was a good year for Spider-Man. Also the Stan Lee stuff in Spider-Verse almost made me cry.

  • i thought this one would have been a 10 for you....

  • I hate that the director is a complete prick to the fans but that luckily has nothing to do with the quality of the movie.

  • Shit miles character scum watched many crimes did not help

  • My main gripe is I just love to hate miles because I’m a Pete fan 😂

  • Me : playing with lego Prowler theme comes on Me : oh sh**! Wtf... Me : MOM! THE CREEPY MUSIC IS BACK! Mom : Do it your self! Me : alright Me : gets my grandpa's shotgun R.I.P Speaker

  • Makes it hard to take this review seriously when you miss that the entire soundtrack was original and my licensed. Like I know that there’s a lot to review on this, but some basic research is expected.

  • Definitely the best part was the throwback to the Spider-Man 3 dance.

  • I didn’t love the soundtrack of the film but how they used what’s up danger in the scene where miles masters his powers was actually really well implemented in my opinion.

  • Actually the music( even Post Malone) was originally made for this movie

  • Not a nitpick at all, just genuinely curious, are there any movies that you’ve given or would say in your opinion are 10/10?

  • Spiderverse over that dumpster fire Homecoming; every day of the week, twice on Sunday.

  • I'm gonna disagree on the repeating of significant lines. If it was just for callbacks it would have done cutaways to previous moments, which would have sucked. Doing it only as audio kind of makes it like mental diegesis, or to be less snobby about it, you're hearing the lines Miles repeats to himself in his head as he puts together what it means to be a hero to him in that moment. Less a play for the audience, more a play for the character. But that's just my read.

  • Aquaman sucks 4/10 His words not mine ALL HIS WORDS

  • Do I hear Cody theme in the background?

  • Just saw spiderverse it was freaking amazing

  • Yooo i fucking love your cosmonaut quickie intro lmao 😂

  • the prowler's theme gave me chills everytime it came up

  • *10/10

  • Spider-Dude: Inside The Spider-World

  • nah its race mixing propaganda like the new spiderman homecoming, blackwashing is A-OKAY but not whitewashing, hell, whitewashing is even a "word", blackwashing isn't, google or youtube treats it as if you're misspelling it. just to remind you this anti white bullshit is going on in white countries

  • I liked it a lot, but I wish it had Miguel O'Hara instead of that little anime girl

    • @alelautaro oh cool, I didn't even catch that

    • yeah, but miguel o'hara was saved for the post-credit scene, so he's gonna be in the sequel

  • I absolutely couldve done without spiderham or any of the 3 extra spidermen for that matter. It wouldve been just as solid with just peter, gwen, and miles.

  • I don’t understand why nobody is talking about how predictable and boring the plot is. Yes the animation is awesome and the dialogue is mostly good, but the premise is silly even by comic book standards, and the sequence of events is so formulaic. Is there ever any doubt about the outcome? I was completely bored by this movie other than the spectacle of the animation itself.

    • Vince The Menace the journey is boring. every plot point is cliche. the plot is not engaging or interesting. that is the journey and it’s boring.

    • It's about the journey, not the destination

  • I definitely agree with the soundtrack bit. That "in you i confiiiiiiiide" song really took me out of that scene. The only other issue was lirerally something in every single animated movie ever: literally every single person sounded the same. Regardless of whether they were literally right in front of the camera or way off in the background, every single person literally sounded like they were talking right to the mic. Otherwise tho I loved the fuck outta this film.

  • I actually REALLY dislike hip hop (especially Post Malone type music), but it worked perfectly for me in the film.

  • Yea I disagree with a lot you say here cosmo. I have no idea as to why you see this worthy as a 9/10 film, but that's your choice. Now before I get into the details I'm going to throw out there that I do enjoy this film and I think it's an OK film, but it had a lot of basic problems that kept it from being great. So if you were going to reply to this complaining how much of an idiot I am for not "liking this film" then don't, because I do like it. I just see it as a 7/10 film. Thank you and please scroll on. Anyway so here is what I agree with you on. I agree the visuals are very well done and it adds to the film in extroardinary ways. At first the lines across everything in the first third of the film was actually very distracting. It made my eyes feel rather dry, and so it got rather annoying. I know it's supposed to emulate a comic book, but the saturation was way too damn high. However I got used to it later, so it's all good. I agree this film developed Miles well, this is HIS film after all. This is NOT about Peter Parker, this is about Miles Morales. I'm glad you didn't give this film credit for being "dark" I have seen that thrown around and that confuses me. Just because Peter dies in the beginning doesn't make the film dark at all, he was supposed to die because that's how the story goes. I agree that there should have been scenes of characters reacting to those that are dead from where they're from. For example gwen should look a bit stand off-ish or uncomfortable around Peter because he dies in her arms in her story. Yet she spends her first scenes and interactions with him where all of her liness can be summarised as her insulting the guy calling him fat and dumb over and over. Which makes absolutely no sense from a character stand point. Here is where I disagree, this is the main reason of what I don't like about this movie. The characters. You have 6 different spidermen yet only three of them contribute to the story. Spider pig, noir, and peni do SO LITTLE for the story that I actually think noir only has 5 lines for the whole film that's not in his backstory. They served no purpose and were horribly underwritten. Now if writting and developing 6 spidermen is too much for an hour and a half move, then don't have 6 in the first place. Peter, Miles, and Gwen contribute a lot and are essentially actual characters. I think this could have been remedied if you replaced pig, noir, and peni with Miguel O'Hera (spiderman 2099). I don't see what you mean when you say all of them had great characters because half the cast served no purpose but to be fanservice for people who knew what the characters are. Hell noir is basically just an exact copy of Peter. The only difference are: he says almost nothing through the film, doesn't do anything outside of throwing a punch and a kick, and has a monochrome palette. The only thing Peni did was make the small device for them to shut down Kingpin's machine, which somehow Miles figured out what button to press despite it being in Japanese, but Peter could also just as easily made the same device, in fact he planned to before hand. So because Peter could have done it I feel it makes that point mute. While I'm on the subject of characters I felt all the villians were lackluster except Mile's uncle, Aaron Davis. Are we going to ignore the fact that the Green Goblin was in the first fight, yet he just dissapears for the rest of the film for no reason? This is the ultimate universe meaning he should be Norman Osborne. Shouldn't that mean something for the story? Like affect Kingpins' plans in some way considering the two work together. Now Kingpin had a good goal for his character, but my problem comes from his design and art direction. He looks so god damn goofy because of how he's made that I couldn't take a single thing he said seriously. Me and my friend chuckled and giggled every scene he was in. The dude is basically a cube with a tiny round potato head in the middle of it, (seriously why was his head not on top of his shoudlers?), and his face is so small on his head it honestly felt like one of those memes people make in phtotoshop where you shrink down someone's face to a tiny level for comedic affect. In conclusion this movie was good, but had some issues that kept it from being a great movie. Again I give it a 7 out of 10. I enjoyed this more than I enjoyed Infinity war. However, I enjoyed Venom much more than this film; I enjoyed it so much that I even bought it on blu-ray. I can only hope the creators of spiderverse really step up their game for the sequel.

  • @4:42 homecoming was better than SM2 imo, but I still like Into the Spider Verse even better than Homecoming.

  • Spiderboy inside the spider realm

  • low key one of the best films of all time

  • my audience was honestly the dream, I got comic fans, movie fans, I got them all, we all clapped, we all cried, we were a bunch of 12-year-olds collectively losing our crap and it made it the best (and final) movie I watched with my dad before he passed away, that man was a big kid, and I'm glad I got to see that. He even cried at the Stan Lee tribute. Just to wrap it up, this movie fulfilled my childhood, and my father's childhood plus the time he spent raising me on this amazing character (and more), and if I had the option to be with him again, I would watch Spiderverse again, with the same audience

  • oh my GOD! I JUST REALIZED SOMETHING! SO OVER TIME, EACH SPIDER PERSON STARTS TO ADAPT TO MILES' REALITY! PETER B. LOOKS LIKE THE CLASSIC COMIC, GWEN IS BASED ON PASTELS, NOIR AND PENI IS OBVIOUS, AND MILES IS BASED OFF OF A GRAFFITI LOOK, OVER TIME, WE SEE THEM SLOWLY ADAPT TO THE GRAFFITI ART STYLE, YEAH, THEY DON'T COMPLETELY CHANGE, BUT IT'S NOTICABLE IDK WHY I PUT DOWN ALL OF THIS OVER A LITTLE DETAIL

  • The BAGEL! killed me
