  • There’s a reason he hasn’t fought a legit boxer in his weight class and in his age range, he’s lose. No one has ever questioned the skill Paul has, everyone questioned his opponents.

  • this video aged really well.

    • @Levi Voyles I've seen a lot of videos of people really breaking down the fight and saying it was BS that the fight was called that close. I actually have a small conspiracy theory that, to try to dispel the high belief that Jake has paid to win his fights, he would accept a "close" lose so people don't question his wins in the future. Even now he's calling himself the actual winner post fight.

    • I literally waited for someone to comment that 😂

    • Fury pieced him up and i think a more active light heavyweight prospect with more power paul would have got stopped

    • @A Papsyeah it wasn’t split decision jake was getting dominated by tommy in real time but on screen they showed differently something fishy was going on

    • @Levi Voylesnah on screen it didn’t looked like he was getting dominated but on real time he was getting dominated by tommy jake only threw couple punches

  • Honest description. He wasn't insulting him, gave him honest praise for the time he has been training.

    • @Jack Walker So he shouldnt explained in a simple, clear and coherent way and instead should say confusing descriptions, such as "a good level for just boxing a couple of years" ... WTF does that even mean?

    • Don’t understand why this guy is actually evaluating his ability, just say he’s at a good level for just boxing a couple of years but clearly not pro level.

    • @Lennox NEP I think of Donald Brashear and I think Montreal Canadians.

  • If this guy talking was retired, Jake would totally fight him.

    • Love this 👏👏

    • 😂😂😂👍🏻

    • 😂😂😂 exactly!!

    • Hilarious 😂 😃 😄

    • Lol you win the internet for the day 😂

  • Well… he’s dropping knowledge because this AGED WELL 😂

    • @Will Thomas lol lot of ppl don’t know you win even if you lose if you smart

    • @Will Thomas Woodley had too much on the line to lose you use your brain kiddo

    • @Will Thomas exactly

    • @Will Thomas they wasn't real. Silva literally asked for a McGregor fight two years ago. He wanted money. He may wouldn't get paid if he ain't take a dive.

    • Aged as good as Joe Biden.

  • This guy just nailed it!

    • Going the distance with a split decision is not this guy nailing it.

    • @Ls C10 not even amateur

    • @Leo Cubias Music Lifestyle bro those aren't even real boxing refs lmfaoo just some randoms paid to be refs by Jake. It was an obvious loss for Jake anyone watching the fight could see that.

  • Most accurate and respectful assessment I've seen on Jake Paul as a boxer.

    • @John Rife he is literally the same ppv as any other boxer and can barely sell 300k. The only times he’s had high ppv was when he fought on undercards of guys like Mike Tyson😂

    • @Monkey D. Toni Productions same for all things really. The amount of people saying he's not a good boxer but still attracts attention leads me to think he has more talent entertainer or promotional skills than boxing. This being said the fact I haven't practiced a single day I can safely say my boxing skills are even worse😅 Everyone's good at something and bad at another it all depends how u use them 😉 even the bad can be advantageous if used right 👍

    • @Seikijin And you need talent to become a top boxer or at least be gifted

    • @Greg Huffman Any man could beat Askren in striking. Honestly, I think I was one of the few that thought Jake would win this easily and Jake's boxing (from a boxer's perspective) is not good which says a lot about Askren

    • @John Rife no he hasn’t

  • It’s honestly a compliment to say you’re the toughest kind of guy right up until pro boxers

    • @MarMax Gaming I was using that as an example. Also size doesn’t really matter in boxing. It’s skill Roy Jones Jr. as a light heavyweight fought heavyweights people bigger than him and a longer reach than him and still won he even won the heavyweight title. When you’re 66-9 and have 47 KOs he’s 54 and about to fight a 36 year old and in Russia he got a KO by a body shot in his mid 40s vs someone I would say mid or late 20s so he still has the skill. So it’s skill not age or size

    • @grishrak brother, first of all I would like to say I’m happy to hear that you golf and are having success bc that’s a really neat and unique sport in so many ways. Secondly, the size advantage is nowhere near what matters most in golf. Small people can be skilled enough to regularly get Par, Birdie, or Eagles just like other good golfers. If the big guys you’re playing aren’t great, then it doesn’t really matter if they’re bigger. Out of curiosity, what do you shoot? Are you in the 80s, 90s for 18?

    • You enjoyed?

    • @TheTrueHappy Youre mostly right but A pro fighter is not a street fighter. Saying thousands of street slugs could beat Paul in a boxing match implies the average joe smo could take him out when that is not the case

    • @Bryan Tav not delusional at all. There's a reason he picks mostly not really fighters for his big spectacle fights. And there's a reason why he lost when he finally fought a real fighter. Paul is in good shape, but he doesn't really know how to fight. Guy in the video lays it out perfectly. He has terrible footwork, his punches are slow af (meaning telegraphed). Being shredded doesn't make you a good fighter, learning the basics does.

  • And Then Tommy Fury happened. And proved this man’s assessment correct ✅

  • Apparently Jake heard about this interview and challenged him to a fight

    • @Dead MC Steve you want me to keep trying to give you attention? No problem bud 😄 5th grader says what? 😂😂

    • @Dead MC Steve you want me to keep trying to give you attention? No problem bud 😄 5th grader says what? 😂😂

  • 'Jake Paul would be an excellent bouncer' is the best assessment

    • @Spanner Lightning Yep i fought in the amateur league from 14 til 17, almost made it to professional but got out of the game (military) and jesus lord, the difference between and recreational boxer, a amateur boxer, a amateur boxer going for pro, and a pro....is abismal. Jake is fine, but he should have chossen maybe MMA, maybe, boxing was a bad idea, if one day he steps into the ring with a PRO in his prime and of a medium value he is going to get seriously hurt (if theres no $$$$ WWE shannenigans)

    • @Felix Manuel Guzman Sanchez That’s really not a slight. Eminem was talking to Mike Tyson about sparring with young boxers and how he was getting fucked up by 14-16 year olds as a grown man. Real boxers are just at a totally different level.

    • He would be the smallest bouncer ever. I’m his size so by now means small but nowhere near a bouncer

    • jake has no future in pro boxing, maximum i can see him like a "sparring partner",but he's not pro material

  • Dude didn’t even disrespect him, just kept it real

  • That's such a diplomatic and respectful way of describing Jake's boxing career. I gotta respect it.

    • @TheRebelOfChaos the people that think that don’t matter tho, they don’t know what they’re talking about

    • @TheRebelOfChaos I exactly said he is progressing in his career and has work to do.

    • @dot connector People aren't offended for tarnishing boxing. Nobody is saying that. What people are annoyed by is the fact that he's beaten retired MMA fighters and people think he's suddenly got what it takes to compete with the best. No. Could he do it one day? Maybe. Time will tell. He has a lot of work to do to get there though. I wish people would realize that.

    • Yeah its kinda a compliment. "He's basically better than everyone except elite professionals" is essentially what he said.

    • @dot connector I may he is the one who became a pro before going to amateur and then hyped himself up

  • This guy really knows all of Jake's weaknesses... Bros analysis skills are top tier🤣

  • This was proved this weekend. It didn't take some legend of a boxer either lol

    • Nope. But he is a 'boxer' and that's the difference

  • The most accurate and fair description anyone has ever given.

  • Super accurate. You also have to put into account that he is also paying the opponent with a non disclosure to throw the fight

  • Couldn’t have said it any better👏🏽

  • He doesn’t just telegraph his punches he puts them in his contracts

    • @Arian Lucatero I think that if you're a professional boxer who gets such an offer, then you've already made a name for yourself and a career that brings in above average income. Why would you need to tarnish your legacy fighting a CS-tv sensation that will eventually be forgotten in history.

    • True that bro

  • This aged well like wine!

  • Next up: Jake Paul fighting Muhammad Ali’s ghost

  • Jake Paul would be the toughest Walmart security guard on Earth!

    • Joe Buck ... Disrespectful af to Dylan Dannis

    • Nah khabib would be more efficient and less damaging. Hed just put everyone to sleep 🛌

    • Lol

    • To be honest, I even doubt that

    • Until The Wafflehouse Master comes into play or Twist the Guardian of Gas Stations 😂

  • Thank you..right out my brain of what I'm saying...I got ya hat!!!

  • This guy said the same things I've been saying. No footwork or head movement and doesn't set his shots up well. It's just hard to put like he did with typing so everyone gets mad at you and says, "Why don't you step in there with him". 😂🤣😅

  • Jake would be a terrible bouncer, he escalates every situation.

    • @Ted Godfrey yet, there are boxers, mma yahoos, etc., who are. So, there's your common sense working for you.

    • @Pavlovs Folly This has to be some sort of projection

    • @thfpt As someone with common sense I dont think a guy worth hundreds of millions would want to be a boxer

    • I don't think his goal in life is to stand outside in the cold waiting for someone to fight, comments are full of NPCs that with anime pfps hating. You can hate get to his level first.

    • Hahaha 😂

  • Well said! Thank you🚙💨🇺🇸

  • This analysis is so on point.

  • I agree 100%. Jake only fight tiny guys or guys way past their prime in their 50's🤣🤣

    • @Xvxmx Sanchez He is not a boxer. He was a former mma fighter

    • @Shae Wilson And Tommy whooped that ass, casual.

    • well he’s 6-0? what boxer has faced better fighters at 6-0?

  • Thank you finally...some real talk

  • This aged like fine wine, good take!

  • "He's as tough as you can get BEFORE you start finding boxers" facts

    • @Ricky Suttle True, even skinny people can be surprisingly slow. It all comes down to if you are trained or not and/or if your body is prepared for fast movement

    • @Monkey D. Toni Productions bigger people do tend to be slower, but they aren't slow robots like the films make out. Look at tyson fury. He would have muay lightweights heads off and he is massive. Can work against you but more pros than cons.

    • @Ricky Suttle Yeah but I mean that in all aspects, they are at least very good. I feel like Jones' biggest issue is himself rather than his fighting game. Plot twist: Ben Askren is just trolling and pretending that he sucks at striking so he can give other fighters a chance

    • @Ricky Suttle Tbh, I wished that Khabib was either a Heavyweight or GSP's weight during his time. Would have been amazing. Have a good day

    • @Monkey D. Toni Productions you're right about Askren. He was/is absolutely horrendous at any kind of striking. He is literally one of the worst strikers I've ever seen in combat sports, maybe in real life too. Both GSP and Jones don't have many weaknesses. They do have a few, but not many. And they have a desire to win which is a massive thing.

  • True and fair assessment!!!🎯

  • A great bouncer lol. Perfectly said.

    • He would be a terrible bouncer. To much ego. He would turn every situation into a fight.

  • This is real talk. A real boxer would have a field day with Jake Paul.

    • @Bacon, the gateway meatno shit it wouldn’t why would the best boxer in the world atm fight a youtuber… he also fights at 155-175 not 190…

    • @Tenta Klaus Not sure if your realize this, but Jake Paul and Logan Paul (the guy who did the things you mention) are two different people.

    • @Arnau Servaux Depends on what you define as a real fight. In most cases, they do pretty well

    • @Harry Graham if a boxer as shite as Tommy fury can make Jake look useless, I doubt he's beating any journeymen either

  • A good and honest appraisal.

  • This is pure professional honesty 👏🏾

  • "Jake could be an excellent bouncer." Might be the smoothest roast I've ever heard

    • @Danny. I mean you can be anything you’re qualified to do but that’s like using a rocket scientist as a high school math and science teacher. Yes they can do it if they want but why

    • @Bucks Fan where you from?

    • @Chris Beatty you cant be a professional boxer and bouncer at the same time?

    • @Danny. it is easy to be a bouncer where i’m from they’re losers

  • Helluva bouncer that guy…

  • No lie was told here. I think it’s a respectful assessment of his ability

  • Like Katt Williams said “a Chrysler 300 looks like a Phantom until a Phantom pulls up”

  • this vid aged well, lol

  • This aged well

    • @Danny Tallmagehe lost tho right? Exactly…

    • Except of course for Jake going the distance in a split decision. Tubby McBald said he’d get knocked out.

    • @T DB jake lost to tommy boy

    • Why ? What happened recently?

  • It’s a shame he actually has to explain this to people .

    • @chris george I respect what Jake is doing but even a mediocre boxer like Fury is too much for Jake, as we saw. You can't start this late & be a professional fighter of any caliber

    • @chris george I will call him a decent boxer if he develops his technique more, develops better footwork, defense, rhythm and timing and if he beats good boxers

    • @Drake Enjoyer 🤡🎪

  • Always thought the minute he took on someone who wasn't just looking for a paycheck he'd fall. Getting in there with someone who actually cares about the sport and doesn't want to embarrass it was a bad call. Lol.

  • Skip Bayless : "He can flat out box man!"

  • Finally a guy that makes sense 🙏

    • @Monkey D. Toni Productions nope lol

    • @Monkey D. Toni Productions 👍

    • @Monkey D. Toni Productions nah lol that's absurd, 99% of the pros are the ones with fake records built on journeymen and up and coming boxers who never fight other up and coming boxers

    • @Wolffang Practice, hard work, talent and a sparring partner

    • @shernick marius That didn't age so well

  • aged like fine wine. Logan next

  • Popped up on my fyp right after the fight lmao 😂

  • Jake Paul is the equivalent of a BBJ blue belt bragging about beating a bunch of white belts, but nowhere to be found when the black belt shows up.

    • @ShyFly not true. Depends on where black belt trains. Many black belts shouldn't be black belts actually. There are many blue belts at excellent gyms that could shred black belts at average gyms

    • @ShyFly That's not true, though.

    • Give him due is hard when he hasn't done anything yet. When he does he will get credited. ✌️

    • @ShyFly That's not true at all though. Size and age does matter even in BJJ. When I did it I smashed guys that were multiple belts above me, simply because I wasn't given the opportunity to take the tests for the other belts yet, I was just naturally way better, stronger, faster, etc.

    • White belts can choke a black belt. It happens all the time..

  • Well this needs an update lol

  • Respect for going out and giving it a go.

  • The moment jake gets hit by a good stiff jab up the nose by a proper boxer that travels the world for fights, he'll know there's levels

    • @Mitch H Fury is not that good. He is a middling fighter. He'll never be a world champion, prob will never fight for a championship & he has an excellent pedigree. Shows how much it takes to be one of the best

    • @G3lato WTF you talking about? You're confused

    • @Mitch H You're confused Mitch. He is a multi-millionaire, he pays his sparring partners good money, no up & coming professional boxer is going to lay it on him like that. There is no incentive to beat up the man who pays you. That is why having amateur experience is so important

    • @Unknown User best striker in the world but not best boxer in the world

    • @Eric Manget Again, he fought Floyd Mayweather who is not known for knockouts. If you want knock outs, watch the UFC or Bellator

  • Great description

  • excellent bouncer is hilarious 😂😂

  • “As tough as you can get until fighting real boxers” Says it all lol

    • @Rz1097 Go watch UFC if you want to see what happens when boxers meet a real one. It not a real fighting style, it's made for entertainment.

    • @Digital Analog lol

  • It's straight up true. It's free offense I swear I'm not jkn around I've competed in just about every combat sport. Now I'm coaching my son who is doing very well. I could spark him at will . And I don't even want to think what my son would do to him

  • The gap between good and a top / sub top fighter is always talent! You can not bridge that huge gap by training because everyone at that level already train very hard and professional.

  • He is waiting to fight Andrew Tate in his 50's

    • He would only challenge Tate on his deathbed lol.

    • @Dare Powell Tate's a bum

    • @Kenny Kelly He's champion in Amature level 3rd division nothing close to pro. Kick Boxing is big in East Asia and Southeast Asia like UFC in West, Nobody knows him out there. Jake is not a real good boxer and Tate is also not real kick boxer both are internet persona.

    • Tate isn't that good of a fighter

  • Finally a honest opinion 😌

  • Imagine if when I explained this anyone listened. Coulda been cashing in this whole time along w/ me ! Oh well lol.

  • Jake's next fight is 70 year old tyson 💀

    • @Dubh Sith Oh i got no doubt tyson would probably fuck him up in a street fight, Tyson literally is built different from Jake and for lack of a better word got that dog in him. but in a boxing match, at 70 years against someone who'd have been boxing for 24 years i worry for the dudes health.

    • @Tony Shuler I saw his training videos and he looks impressive for his age. Jake probably still sparks him though. I don't expect a punch drunk, 60 year old boxer (no matter how good they were in their primes) to trade blows with Jake.

    • @Silent Assassin your smoking cracc if you think Jake could beat Mike go look up Tyson work out videos an what he looks like right now you must be young cause you honestly don't know who Mike Tyson is

    • @Dallas E I'm not calling it a lucky punch. I'm saying Jake is fast, athletic, strong enough to catch Mike with a punch. And I don't believe Mike's reflexes and durability are gonna be enough. And I should say the same to you. This isn't anime. "The cool old dude kicking people's ass" doesn't work in real life. And I think it's the same case in Jake vs Mike.

  • This aged like a fine wine

  • Aged well 😂

  • I saw Jake strutting into a nursing home looking for his next opponent last week.

    • Reminds me of Russell Crowe fighting cancer on South Park 😂

    • I saw him leaving the nursing home mad. Said they were all too young to be his opponent.

    • Lollllll strutting

    • 🤦🏾‍♂️😅

    • 😂😂😂

  • Very Well said Sir! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

  • Spot on assessment.

  • I love that he didn’t just say “he’s not a good boxer” he gave actual reasons why he’s not.

    • @Loaf of Bread Also, if you can't take harsh criticism then boxing is simply not for you. This sport is brutal and hard so must the criticism. No sugar coating. Wait, you are trolling, aren't you?

    • @Loaf of Bread Then you don't know what toxic is. This can be used to improve Jake's skills. What you are talking about is hating

    • @Mike Fitz agreed. But this is what I meant by saying his prior victories weren't that impressive and that beating silva didn't make him a great boxer. Not knocking the guy, but until greatness is proved, it shouldn't be believed.

    • @Ben Kent he's had 6 fights total. No amateur career whatsoever. He's an inexperienced boxer who lost to a guy with a lot more experience. Does not detract at all from what he's accomplished or the courage he's shown to get in the ring with world champion fighters.

  • Glad someone finally said it!

  • Winner winner, chicken dinner xD

  • He cannot "beat up any retired MMA fighter". He can competitively BOX with them.

    • @Supreme Commander Thor I have no idea how to interpret what you are saying. You sound like you’re agreeing with me but also not agreeing? 😂

    • Wow thanks for pointing out the obvious. Be sure to remind people the phrase "its raining cats and dogs" is really about heavy rain.

    • @the awesomest absolutely true, the striking technique is completely different (range, guard, faints etc.). That been said I don't rate Paul Jake's boxing at all based off of demonstration and opponents. Silva was meant to validate his status as legit but Silva isn't just retired, he is 46 and has never been the same since he snapped his leg (worst I've seen). He doesn't move the same and it took his confidence.

    • They were talking about boxing. I think the contex is pretty clear

    • RIGHT! Let me see his ass try and take on the ICEMAN! Hell even Butter Bean!

  • This aged very well like a fine wine.

  • Facts , he can still beat up your mailman .

  • "an excellent bouncer" 😂😂😂 great quote

  • Thank you. The truth hurts doesn't it.

  • You do know how to punch in MMA.

  • Jake's gonna challenge Steven Seagal next. To a cheeseburger eating contest.

    • Lmaoo next to a cheeseburger 🍔 contest that part took me out hahaha 😂

    • Yeh but could he beat him in the kitchen.....

    • He gon finish with broken arms.

    • Steven Segall would eat cheeseburgers around him. 🤣

  • I appreciate this viewpoint. I dont study his fights and have barely seen any of the rounds. I thought he was doing a bit better than he might actually be. Hes not a natural to the sport but hes got the money to pay for the best training. In theory, he could develop into a legit professional. But he has to fix those glaring issues such as the ones you mentioned. We are simply computers and just need to be programmed to do anything proper.

  • I'm interested to see how he'll fare in PFL

  • I hear in Jake's next fight he'll be fighting Muhammad Ali's corpse.

  • 100% on point

  • To be honest he is on the path of a boxer. Takes fights to learn the ropes.

  • Very honest and true description of him. Wasn't insulting him, just simple facts really. Respect

    • @Jason Jaeger In what world is Tommy Fury a pretty good boxer? He's not even good for an amateur.

    • @Meditation with Cris I know what ya mean man, it's youtube comments. I boxed for 18yrs and I'm sure Logan Paul could KO my ass in one round. Granted I haven't boxed in 11years but when ur in fighting shape it is harder to be KO'd imo.

    • @Jason Jaeger ok. He can KO a random dude. WOW. This is not what I mean. But probably not anybody so developed to get that...

    • @Meditation with Cris Fury doesn't have KO power? Get in the ring with em and see what happens

    • @Pops Cola I don't think so. He has money to fall back on, most of the other boxers are fighting to put food on the table.

  • wow he nailed it

  • Man woke up and decided to commit arson via fact spitting

  • People seem to forget to recognise how tough a real boxer is

    • @Larry Chester exactly!

    • @Grim's Graveyard name one boxer who's never been tagged. Lmao watching too many movies.

    • @Jaccob Bailey Right thats why they call boxing the sweet science. Professional boxing is like a game of chess with both opponents constantly trying to gain position. Simply being a tuff dude isn't enough at the professional level.

    • As someone that used to be a boxer, this is 100% true lol the primary difference between a boxer and layman comes down to timing and efficiency. A pro boxer, I’d say, inherently knows and works in tandem with their body at a much higher level than the vast majority of the population, both due to conditioning and nontraditional problem solving (although you need lungs and legs for days if you plan on winning any fights, the sign of a good fighter is finding/ creating/ exploiting your opponent’s openings. Most high-skill boxers are extremely intelligent, honestly, and that alone already makes them absolute beasts, without even counting their fitness or other external factors)

    • Best stand up and bang in the game. Go toe to toe in range with a proper boxer and you're on the deck if you haven't got gloves on.

  • I wish I could like this video more that one time.

  • Finally! Someone who isn’t kissing his butt

  • The most realest and honest shit I ever heard

    • That's kinda pathetic ... lmao

    • @314 RUSH what you expect from his fans

    • Jake has got skill let's be honest. Anderson Silva is a good feat

    • @originalmann911 is he though? Lmao

  • Dude knows what he's talking about!

  • Absolute FACTS!!❤😁

  • This man is saying what everyone else has been thinking love to see it.

    • @Love Peace English please

    • @Bailey Yates behind his f****** keyboard

    • I would sugarcoat that but you might

    • Everyone’s been saying this where’ve u been hiding?

    • I can't make sense of what you said. It's like you missed some punctuation some where !?

  • Wow, this aged very well..

  • this aged just like a good wine

  • “Excellent bouncer” 😂😂😂

    • @John H. as a bouncer I agree

    • @John H. Yea, makes sense.

    • @Floating Goose yes that is true but it’s not professional. If you kill or severely hurt someone the club is going to let you deal with it yourself. You are considered a contractor and have to provide your own insurance.

    • @John H. But then again, I have seen some bouncers with that 1 hitter quitter, and there's an argument that any fight should end in 10 seconds. Some.guys are confident in, and like their ability to sleep others.

    • @John H. This makes more sense than I want it to, lol

  • This video aged like a fine wine.

  • The back handed compliments are 😂🤌

  • there are many languages in the world but the language this man spoke was facts

    • @Joker and youre a modern-day fax machine

    • and youre a modern-day fax machine

    • @Joe Brett jake is not a "pro" boxer as he says he is he wouldnt beat connor megregor he only fights washed up old mma fighters he has never fought a pro boxer he would be good at amateur boxing but pro boxing he wouldnt make it through the first round of a fight

    • @Joe Brett So if I avoid ever saying "I think" it makes everything I say a fact! Got it!

    • It was English… And if you use the words “ I THINK” that makes it an opinion LOL…Just saying

  • Spot on!

  • This aged extremely well.

  • Jake has a great defense…his face defends his fists.

    • 😂 get em!

    • @MagaQNut you like an old man so much you put his slogan as your name? Hard to take an adult seriously who loves politics THAT much. 🤣

    • @Wulla Balloo rocky marciano done it

    • real

    • Brill reply!!
