    • Too funny trying to pretend you side with black athletes when you are clearly a right wing troll@Tony DeanDriskell

    • If they were sports commentators back in 1968, they would have been giving Tommie Smith & John Carlos a hard time for the Black Power Salute after receiving their medals in Mexico City. Being a puppet of mainstream is the legacy that skip & shannon chose. - American Intermediary

    • @robert riteman never said I was a Mavs enthusiast but I will say I'm a Mavs fan! No one truly know's Kyrie ambition or what he's really capable of. People quick to be followers and with that being said....judgemental from someone else analysis or prospective of him or someone they really don't know !! People have it bad painting picture's of someone especially when they can't have their way with him.... then they fabricate the character! Mark Cuban and his Mavericks team have their chance to see.

    • I get it - you are a Mavs enthusiast and want to believe this will work out. No one doubts that it will go well this year but time will tell if it was really a good move. However, as someone who is objective , for the time being I will remain a skeptic because of his past history . For the sake of Mavs fans I hope that I will be proven wrong @True With It !!

  • It still blows my mind how the Nets trade away a half decades worth of first round picks not once, but TWICE in their franchise history for just 1 playoff series win. Wow. Just wow.

    • It's not surprising at all. They've been a cl🤡wn show for a long time now.

    • Nets traded dinwiddie he bounced around and than back to nets . Doing him dirty

    • @95STEE Only to people who haven't got a clue.

    • @June Halog What did they do wrong? The only thing they did wrong is bring a big headed omnipotent, show up when I want to, team killer to the team. The Nets would have been fools to sign him without stipulations.

  • No matter what, it’s going to be really interesting to see how this situation plays out for Dallas.

    • @Shut up kyrie gone want 200+ million

    • im distracted by your pfp.. wowza! XD XD

    • Kyrie is leaving in the offseason.

    • @Laine Orna Nah. Believe in me and I'll save you from silly superstition.😇

  • I still think the best part of this is that Dinwiddie made the full circle back to Brooklyn 😂

    • The Nets are going no where with him. He is not a true leader.

    • Thats the difference between a CS-tv commenter and a professional athlete. It's just business, his job is to play basketball, don't matter who it's for.

    • @Cavemandamn they bogus son pay my mans 20k lol

    • Shows how stupid both teams management are

    • Poor dinwiddie

  • This was honestly a chance Dallas needed to take. Everyone and their mama knew luka couldn’t carry them to a chip, it was like watching bron in Cleveland first run around. If anything they just needed to try to have some talent to compete, even if it doesn’t work it’s good effort. Finally, fire rob pelinka

    • @BetterDayzMusic what's funny, you actually thinking this is the Mavs year? Or Middleton being star? Holiday is an Allstar but you'll try to make him a superstar. Porzingis has lead a team, but the Bucks support has never lead a team. I'm not a Luka or Porzingis fan, but I'm a basketball fan and I put the game in context. Try it.....

    • @TrueGuardify Middleton or Holiday don't back anyone down and Middleton has been hurt a lot lately. Only 3 players in the league back others down. Embiid, Jokic, and Valančiūnas, so backing down is rare now.

    • @Geronimo Pratt stop it kid. 😂😂

    • thou speaketh too early

  • I’m sure plenty of teams in the East inquired about Kyrie and I’m sure had better packages but it’s hard for a team to trade in conference and teams like LA and PHX probably aren’t willing to deal the little assets they had for him and sent bad packages. A 20ppg type player is very good value for Kyrie when you know you can’t get a star from anyone.

  • Brooklyn went from KD, Harden, and Kyrie which seemed to be a guaranteed championship. To KD and their second highest paid player averaging seven points a game.

    • They still couldn't win a championship lmfao 🤣

    • Now highest paid player in Brooklyn is averaging 7 points a game 😂

    • *update the people lol

    • Say that again?? Hahaha KD gone

    • oops no kd

  • They actually got along. Fresh air and really entertaining. They should do it more.👍👍

    • @Mikey it could be but dont let this loving act fool you. Shannon if he's a real man of faith will have anger inside. But his contract obligation could have him play nice. He may not want them to do him like they do the others. I would never be the same if it was my football career being disrespected by someone who never played sports. Words like that doesnt disappear over night.

    • @Savior Self mad dog is a off brand skip .. that’s why they brought him in don’t bring him up I rather have max on them some guy pretending to be another guy playing another guy.

    • @Mikey Stephen A and "that other guy"? Do you really not know who Mad Dog is?

    • It’s a publicity stunt to get views💀 y’all really be believing they hate each other, if they really didn’t get along, like Steven A and that other guy, one of them would be gone by now

  • As a mavericks fan I am not sure how to feel, this could easily not work out (kind of expecting it not to tbh) but a big thing for me is that if kyrie does end up leaving in the off season anyway the mavs freed up a lot of money which theyve needed to do for a couple years now.

    • @GTBreezy I would add Miami, Boston and GSW to that list. That being said, some teams struggle to get superstars to sign w them, when’s the last time Dallas SIGNED an All-Star FA?? Nothing illogical w my point, that’s a challenge that small market/ non-FA destinations struggle w

    • Draft picks aren't worth as much for these big market teams. Being able to attract free agents with max contracts is what matters.

    • Interesting you say that. Every time I see someone say “trade him so you at least get something for him…” I ask myself the same question. Doesn’t that mean they just have more money to sign free agents/extensions/etc?

    • @Siphiwo Mhlongo there are 30 teams in the nba only like 4 teams come to ,ind as free agent destination and that Lakers,Knick’s 76ers other times it could be Chicago as well. Your logic isn’t great because then no other teams would get free agents lol players gotta sign somewhere and whoever give the most money most likely is gonna get the player. Everyone always wants to,play for the Lakers but. They don’t get the best free agent every year

    • @Siphiwo MhlongoKhris Middleton perhaps

  • As a Mavs fan, this trade has potential to turn into the Rondo trade all over again. I pray everything works out and Kyrie gets an extension in Dallas

    • @J C If Kyrie cares about state income taxhe would have never went to brooklyn lmao

    • @Raul Higgins he wants to be a laker they will have him next season and the new trade cleared 46 mill in cap

    • @TheBetterOdds1 he for sure ain't signing with the Lakers if we being real

    • @Raul Higgins lakers will have around 36-39 mill to bargain with he definitely not signing wit Dallas

    • @Jay Farley money talks, BRO! No one will be able to pay him what Dallas can and Kyrie loves him some Kyrie. He is gonna chase the dollars and Dallas is going to be able to give him more than anyone else. The only question is, will Dallas offer him a max extension

  • Players tend to love Mark Cuban, as he has a way of understanding and delivering things in a way that other NBA franchise owners could never. No one is talking about that. Ky may have found his place that makes him happy. And thank God I live in Dallas and get to see him play every home game now.

    • definitely didn’t see The mavericks coming trading for Kyrie Irving so quickly , they literally came out of no where only time will tell whether if gonna work out or not there

    • No he didn't...he is 🗑️ on defense....and 🗑️ as a teammate 🤷🏾‍♂️

    • @Teron Ward Cleveland picked him 1st overall and took him to the championship; Boston gave up a haul for him; the Nets rolled out the red carpet for him. The problem has always been Kyrie's outsized sense of entitlement and ego. Great player, greater ego.

    • @Britt V Unless he is being respected.

    • MAvs are going to be great next year once they get some defenders

  • As a Mavericks fan, the fact than Skip and Shannon are actually agreeing on this makes me a little nervous.

    • @SPQR - dorian finney smitch 35% on open 3s and not even playing that good of defense josh green is better seamless replacement

    • @T Kyrie's getting tossed through a plate glass window into traffic

    • @Sam Lunter C's fan here. This is gonna be fun to watch

    • You shouldn't. I have not seen a single sports analyst correctly understand this trade so far. Only Mavs fans who have watched this team constantly, at least since Luka and before, should understand that this was a very good trade, which does not effect us negatively in any way if it goes south.

    • As a Celtics fan you should be very nervous when it comes to Kyrie

  • I really think this team is gonna be a glass cannon With clashing personalities. 1st or second round exit High scoring output Shifty defense.

  • I think this trade could actually work on the court, Dallas has four bigs 6ft 10ins or more, so the can provide some measure of interior defence, and M.Morris is a strong proper wing defender with an okay offensive bag. The question is, can they avoid the drama that seems to always follow kyrie off the court?

  • Somehow I feel that KD and the NETS will be fine moving forward. Now the NETS have a leader in their corner i.e., Jacques Vaughn and Kevin Durant. Now they have a team.

    • Too bad he got traded to the suns

    • @Cesar F at allll😂😂👏🏾👏🏾

    • @Cesar F you beat me to it my guy lol

    • lol this didnt age good

    • Did you really just say Kevin Durant is a leader? Lmfao

  • If Kyrie doesn’t pan out, they can let him walk and have room for a max spot. AND Luka is happy because there’s no way they make this move without him signing off so in his eyes they got Porzingis in 2019 and Kyrie in 2023 so he can’t say they haven’t been trying. I think this was smart for Dallas (all things considered and being relative). Maybe JKidd can get through to him 🤷🏿‍♂️ And if nothing else i love content so this will be a good show lol

    • Max space for who😂

    • i think what will happen is this. Kyrie and Luka lose in the 2nd round but they look solid together. The Mavs want Kyrie back but he decides he still wants to go to Lakers. The Lakers sign and trade Rui Hachimura and a first round pick for Kyrie Irving who the Mavs also sign and trade. The Mavs were known to be targeting Hachimura at this trade deadline. Hachimura will probably get a contract of 4/68 so figure like 17 million per. Mavs will then be able to still have around $16 million for another very solid role player or 2 decent rotation players. Maybe they bring back Seth Curry and also sign a project like Cam Reddish. Luka, Seth Curry, Bullock, Hachimura, Wood, Reddish.......meh it's a 7th or 8th seed in the West. You also turned Dinwiddie and DFS into Hachimura, Reddish and Curry. So maybe a wash at best.

  • This trade wasn't about wining a championship. It was about showing Luka that they are willing to make moves to keep him happy and get him some help. Luka has been vocal about wanting them to make a move, and in voicing his displeasure with his current roster. This was to keep him from getting to a point where he is asking for a trade. Does it make them better?, yes but marginally. Kyrie is an upgrade over dinwitty. (though dinwitty is underrated and an efficient player). But the loss of finny Smith who was their best wing defender and a valuable 3 and d player, is going to hurt. Those guys are also the most valued asset in the NBA and extremally hard to replace. Not having that 3 and D guy, on a team that was already not great defensively with Lukas inherent defensive liability's, Is going to hurt. Who is guarding the elite wings in the league now come play off time? So now you have Kyrie, and Luka...both who are Defensive negatives, and you lose your best defender in the trade. IF dallas cant outscore their opponents, then they are going to have issues My prediction. - Regular season is going to look good, then they will get exposed in the playoffs when teams start to repeatedly seek out poor defenders as the game slows down.

  • They traded Kyrie quicker than I thought

    • @Eddie Suri That's not what he wanted. He wanted L.A. Brooklyn purposely sent him elsewhere.

    • They couldn’t wait to trade Kyrie

    • @DJ Ramirez A man with intense sinusitis can smell it

  • The good news for Dallas is they got Kyrie healthy, in a new positive situation, playing for a new contract. He will be very good this season, although the fit isn’t great and they will be a first round exit. But man after that they will have to pay a fortune to keep him … like the kind of contract that kills teams. And eventually he will sour on Dallas. BIG risk.

    • Irving got to play well if he wants to look good when it's time for his free agency this summer.

    • They should go to the finals

    • First round exit ? They made the western conference finals last year without him what drug are you on

    • He’s not staying he’s leaving in the off season

  • This is going to be one of the best Duo’s MARK MY WORDs!!

  • Kyrie has been playing like Basketball is his priority his play has been excellent, he’s an All star an d a Champion. The offer the nets gave him was ridiculous, but no one is talking about that. I definitely would have asked for a trade.

    • @N.B.L. You can, I don’t like the male species like that 🤷🏾‍♂️

    • @breign72 no they said if you don’t win the chip you won’t get paid like Fr man

    • @breign72 unless there juggernauts like Gianni’s most Superstars today won’t even play 70 games in a season anymore.

  • Legendary, skip and Shannon agreed and smiled 😂

  • Does anybody remember when Skip always said Kyrie was the closer for the Cavs, possibly their best player, and the reason why Lebron won the title? Now he’s saying Kyrie only hit one big shot there. I wonder what changed 🤔

    • Kyrie wasn’t their best player but he was definitely their closer.

  • For Dallas this trade is not about acquisition of Kyrie or loss of 2 good players, it's about keeping Luka happy and trying to build around him. If Cuban perceives him as franchise player as he thought of Dirk, he'll do everything possible to bring necessary force around Luka to make the Mavs champions again. Now he's young and they continue figuring out what tipe of co-star could fit him. In my opinion good center who can score and defend like Jared Jackson or PF like Zion could be a good fit but they are impossible to get by now. Kyrie for certain will not fit well, Skip got good point here regarding their usage and dribbles.

    • @ABC ABC Which part wasn't true?

    • @AQN You know very little about basketball at best. 🤣Bye.

    • @Phil.K "Nobody expected him to fall into the Jordan and lebron level of rookie talent," - literally everybody outside the US did. Literally EVERY non-US poundint was raving about Luka, more than they do about Webby now. Maybe reality for Dallas is indeed as harsh are you present it to be. I don't know. To me looks like a dumpster fire. The Bucks feature the most expensive starting line-up in the NBA (even after the Suns traded for KD) and they might be the best team in the league when everyone's healthy. If the Bucks did it, the Suns can do it as well, but one needs go for "underrated" two-way players that can fit around a generation talent (e.g. Middleton and Holiday, Lopez and Portis, etc.) instead of flashy players who have their own agenda... Anyway, we'll see how this is going to play out.

    • @Phil.K so... You won a chip by mistake and you don't plan to win another one. If that's the case then Luka will most likely leave.

    • @Panagiotis Atmatzidis Impossible. That's not how a "stuck" team such as the mavericks works, in terms of building a roster. First of all they are historically one of the worst drafting teams in the league, due to an outdated and incompetent front office. And no, you can not use Luka and recent young success as an argument. Second of all the historically bad drafting and FO lead me to the next point, which is that the mavericks did not have time nor the capability to build a roster around Luka due to the unforseen factor that he developed into a highly skilled, winning player almost immediately. Nobody expected him to fall into the Jordan and lebron level of rookie talent, which is why they were not able to develop any other picks steadily along with luka, and instead opted to try and surround him with more talent, which has failed on both occasions due to the players themselves and FO incompetence. And finally, the mavericks are not a free agent destination, so there is no waiting for help. Especially when you also have, statistically, the cheapest owner in the entire league. Therefore with all that in mind, the only option that the mavericks have is taking risks and gambles, something that many people do in life. If the risk (kyrie) pans out, then all the better. If it does not, we move on and continue to do what we were doing before this trade, except now we have more money to try and look for something such as an all star next to Luka, as well as try and find some defensive minded roleplayers as well.

  • Luka is so good there is no issue at all him playing with Kyrie, and same with Kyrie. The question are more other pieces on Mavs.

  • People forget Kyrie wasn't happy LeBron went back to Cleveland. He was happy being the man on a losing team. Then after going to the finals every year forgot what it was like losing and wanted out.

    • @Bamboo Shoot Kyrie also had an explanation for the Celtics period. "Once is a phenomenon, twice a coincidence: three times and it's a Science."

    • Kyrie did a podcast last year with I AM ATHLETE. I suggest you listen to it because Kyrie clarifies all of the misconceptions about him and LeBron. What Skip espouses isn’t accurate either.

  • This trade honestly reminds me of when CP3 went to Huston and everyone wondered the same thing how will they work together they both need the ball.

    • Kyrie is gonna be part of the second unit so they will rarely play together. Kyrie is coming off the bench.

    • @Paduls the nba as whole is no defense the contending teams still give up 110 or so a game

    • they have literally no defense

  • “ And for some kid in the 6th grade “ lmao Shannon too funny

  • Honestly this situation is a win-win for the Mavericks. Even if they don’t resign him they just freed up a lot of cap space

    • 😂😂😂

    • @Larry Lindgren why do teams need future pieces why can’t they develop the players they need

    • @Mr. Excitement you can have Jokic, Vucevic, Sabonis, Markannan, and Luka and the Mavs still wouldn't be a championship team or reach the finals. I wish this team would form so Mavs fans can get the hype wish.

    • @buba ba any smart fan knows why LeBron has high field goal attempts this season.....most points scored in NBA history. Luka won't ever beat that and when will he get MVP so the comparison to LeBron actúa makes sense? Luka is a prime James Harden.

  • In my opinion, Kyrie Irving plays basketball with emotion, if the place and the players support him in every way, he plays like he did in Cleveland in 2017. I think Dallas is a very good environment and Luka is an excellent star to feed off of

  • That's a dub trade for Dallas. Imagine Kyrie and Luka. Amazing duo.

    • @Gary Meade agree but this is still the honeymoon phase of the relationship. It's possible Kyrie is a great teammate for this season and maybe 1 more before things take a turn for the worse and he puts his foot in his mouth.

    • lol 😆 Keep your fingers crossed. Kyrie is a let all the air out of the room, my head is bigger than yours, board-certified team killer.

    • this is such an entertaining duo

  • I would have said "yes" 'cause I think Luka himself is enough reason to have legitimate title hopes.

  • It’ll be interesting on if they can play together but I truly believe Kyrie will leave after this season.

  • I know these 2 argue a lot but i really am happy with the chemistry these 2 guys have on this show.

  • Mavs fan and I follow this team closely. This is an experiment that Luka signed off on, and I promise you he'll be glad to have someone else share the load of scoring. What the current roster wasn't going to win long term, because when Luka was out the Mavs were 1-6. If Kyrie walks, then he walks, but it will give the Mavs the information they need.

    • @D K the 2019 version was but as of now you are right.

    • @D K Kawhi plays elite defense and has 3 championships along with 2 fmvps....Luka looks up to Kawhi

    • @dusttaker they have the same work attendance

    • What do you mean "if Kyrie walks"?

    • @Boris Sibor that’s what I thought would be the better player with luka but KD was hurt

  • I think LeBron and Kyrie played really well together because they complimented each others skill set LeBron on Defense and Kyrie on offense. Although LeBrons athleticism is crazy it's better utilised on defense and whilst Kyries bag is bottomless paired, plus also LeBron isn't ball dominant and is a pass first player. It's also a relief to have him on the team because he'll give you 30 if you need him to. Honestly Lakers should've signed him.

  • Dinwiddie tries to play D and Finney-Smith is huge! He can shoot 3's and hes a good D player and rebounder! This is huge for the Nets but I feel for the Mavs and Luka specifically

  • Never seen a team lose two HUGE trades. First Sixers swindled harden for Simmons now this.

  • Luka and Kyrie will elevate basketball wizardry to a whole new magical level. LFG

  • KD somewhere crying and Harden somewhere laughing 😂😂😂😂

    • I mean Brooklyn is deep nd got better defensively ,

    • Harden is crying! Philly is a SEWER of a city! Hahaha

    • It would be really interesting to hear what those guys really really think about it.

    • harden ain't gonna be laughing for long he's not getting past the 2nd round with doc rivers as his coach 😆

  • Luka put them on notice this year he wasn’t above leaving if they failed to attract talent along side him they had to gamble a bit to show him they were devoted to him, they aren’t worried about signing Kyrie as they should be for what they have because their main purpose is to secure Luka in Dallas

    • @Jeff Lacour james wasnt really a disaster till they traded capela away and literally played with no center

    • @Phoresight what happened when Westbrook joined harden in Houston,a disaster.

    • @Britt V Nah this is trolling there is no way

    • @skrrt on da beat LeBron James

    • @Larry Lindgren Luka is not a ball hog by option, he said himself he prefers to play more offball and so he used to do in Real Madrid

  • We made the WCF with Jalen Brunson and players we gave up for Kyrie. Not the same team I think this trade is pretty wack at first. Hoping for the best though.

  • I’m glad they getting along maybe they can fix there relationship through communication like grown Men should like humans are capable of doing

  • if kyrie or luka would agree to run with the second unit, wow, but that wont happen because no one does that because of the rigging, but id love to see that

  • "I CAN'T BELIEVE IT SKIP. WHAT'S IT GONNA TAKE TO MAKE KYRIE IRVING HAPPY?" "Yep. Correct. That's right. I don't know. He's a liability." "SKIP. KYRIE NEVER HAPPY." "That's exactly right.''

  • Kyre needs a big brother to keep him in line, and I don’t see him finding that in Dallas. If Dallas can land a legit big I think they can make something happen in offseason.

  • I cannot imagine Luka and Kyrie working well together. I really hope it works out though

    • @Cavs Fan / Dallas Fan Since February 6, 2023 OK bro 😂 Lebron not unselfish? I don't even like him like that but bro was giving up wide open shots to Darius miles.

    • @Ace Tv Did you watch the game last night? I watch every single mavs game I don't watch highlights. Again go watch him play in euro league.

    • @Ja Gray You could be right.

    • @Justin's IRL that has absolutely NOTHING to do with if two players play styles can coexist lol

    • @Ja Gray he's also the least like PG of all time

  • This is going to be a championship team. Watch how this ages.!

  • I don't follow the NBA too closely but I think this'll make the Mavericks dominant. Dirk, Nash, and kyrie are going to be a force!

  • This will take a lot of pressure from Doncic. He can play less minutes now and maybe they can put Doncic on the shooting guard/forward position when playing with Irving.

  • I just hope ppl realize some day this is all for sales, kyrie’s not a bad guy

  • “Why put them together if the objective isn’t to win a championship” 💯

    • @Xc Williams than who is let me see your list?

    • @Adam Davis u gotta look up your basketball history lol Duncan Robinson iverson shaq bird Magic hakeem MJ hill Wilt baylor bellamy kareem.... Melo Isiah CP trae Young tyreke Evans brand francis Oscar Bill Russell Blake....Ralph Sampson....

    • @Vincent Salamatino u are mistakin prime with peak, peak bron was 12/13 bron, prime bron was like 09 atleast until 2018,

    • @Leopardess Luke could become a better defender but he still slow but you’re right that’s always there. He can certainly improve regardless of his limitations like speed n lateral movement or he might just be that lazy.

  • This trade was for ticket sales in Dallas. Just the chance to see Kyrie makes the prices go up

  • I said it from day one that the only thing kyrie was gonna bring the Nets was issues. Unbelievable talent he is but you just can't trust him so here we are again. I can't believe Dallas but its their problem now. I'm a NY KNICKS fan & to think as I heard that KD wanted the Knicks but followed kyrie to the Nets good luck to KD now. I wish Dallas the best cause other then the player he is he's a huge problem. LETS GO KNICKS...

  • This is a finals bound team. Luka by himself went to wcf last yr. And the year before he is close to defeatimg prime kawhi and george. This is the help that luka needs.

  • Legendary, skip and Shannon agreed and smiled

  • It all boils down to Luka playing with Kyrie. If they can make that work and sort of take turns it can be very productive and bloody dangerous, but I don't know if the European mentality, coming from coaches who are expected to scream at their teams until their heads turn completely red, can coddle Kyrie in the right way. But at least the drop off when Luka goes for a rest isn't going to be as day and night as it was before. And the defense is going to be an issue down the line too... But it will sure be interesting to see if Kyrie can redeem himself out of his self created mess.

  • “He won a championship and was going to NBA Finals and he wasn’t happy, he wanted to be a leader and he realized leading was a lot harder than saying I’m a leader”

    • Kyrie after his time with the Cavs One playoff win Bron after leaving the Cavs Won a championship with the Lakers

    • @Much Love Gambine he carried lebron... where do u see evidence of that?

    • @Much Love Gambine carrying 😂😂😂😂😂😂 baffles me

    • @Much Love Gambine you cap asf Kyrie never made it to the playoffs before Lebron came.. He showed him how to win ..👑💯💯

  • Well at least this will take pressure off Luka cause now he have someone who can cook just like him, double the trouble in Dallas!

  • The fact is that no one know what Dallas is going to be like until we see it. We'll know in a couple of weeks. That being said, a year ago who had Dallas going to the Western Conference Finals?

  • Keep in mind that Kyrie Irving did not initially have Boston on his trade ideals. It was because Boston got Gordon Hayward and Marcus Morris and had the youth that swayed him. But yes, he did burn bridges in Boston and throw everyone under the bus by being the worst communicator

  • they finna make it work luka came off the ball for Din so he definitely finna do it fa kyrie and he’s happy he don’t gotta take on all the work load now

  • The nets and Joe tsai are the real problem. Never seen a team fumble so many top 10players in a span of 3/4yrs like this

  • I’m excited to see how this works with Luka and Kyrie 🔥

    • if kyrie was a cop he would be out there violating people's rights. he would make a ton of arrests but he would be a walking law suit. every profession has bad apples. Kyrie is that bad apple in the nba.

    • Like always. Kyrie in LAL the moment freeagency kicks in

    • If Kyrie can just play off the ball with Luka in I think they can make it work offensively defensively they will struggle

    • He'll be gone like the wind within a year

    • he leaving y’all this season after a 2nd round exit

  • If I never been a ban wagon, now I am, let’s go mavs!

  • I'm a Mavs fan and my friends have been joking about how we are gonna get kyrie and yesterday I saw the headline and almost tossed my phone across the room

  • They have all these opinions about Kyrie but Kyrie isn’t allowed to have his own because they want to control his narrative for him. “Something’s going on” but nobody mentions how poorly ran the “organization” is? 😒

    • @Mister Crockett No, but there is a 3/32 chance that I could be a fan of a team that he torched on his way out the door. Luckily, I'm not.

    • @Bikram Arora how do you know? Are you a former disgruntled teammate of his?

    • @Paul Le Fevre thanks Paul

    • They definitely talked about how poorly the nets must be run for all their superstars to request a trade within a year..but Kyrie has literally asked to be traded from every team even though he’s hand choosing his teams..there’s definitely a narrative there..

  • Kyrie & Luka bout to go crazy 🔥I’m fw it 👏Ngl I always been a Kyrie fan since I saw him cross up Brandon Knight at at that rising star game lol

  • The fit between Luka and Kyrie would be questionable However Kyrie has played w LBJ, a superstar w a similar skillset to Luka and even played the 2 when they had that KD, Harden, Ky big 3 in BKN. Still interesting to see how Kidd orchestrates the offense to get the most out of both of them and also get everyone else their touches

  • A very calculated move from Dallas. The west is so open that the time was now and so far this is the best chance for Luka to win a ring. But that's a big IF cuz Kyrie is soo unpredictable

    • Kyrie is a boat anchor!! He is going to drag that team down!!

  • He's talking to them like a business man as he should. But they still have to talk bad about kyrie

  • Kyrie was an extremely important part of the Clevland Cavalier’s Championship team every game.

  • Main question should be…WILL KYRIE BE AVAILABLE?

  • I was surprised how quick Kyrie got traded right after the trade request. The Nets couldn't wait to get rid of him. lol!

  • All of a sudden they making him seem like he hit one big shot like him and bron wasn’t scoring back to back whole series , Skip be picking and 😂choosing

  • Idk why some people don't understand that this was the Mavs' only shot at trading for a superstar because nobody with Kyrie's caliber would actually come to Dallas as a free agent. They reached the highest they could, I just hope it works out for them just like it did with Toronto when they traded for 1 year of Kawhi because I don't think Kyrie would resign with Mavs if they don't win the chip this year.

    • @Walkingdead the mavs just said they not guaranteed to even offer him the max anyways lol. They'll talk in the off season...

    • Tf? Kyrie doesn’t have a choice. He has to resign 😂 nobody else is maxing him out

    • @Joe Bite'n Lol cryrie

    • @Harry Harrison lol wat do u mean what about dirk? He didn't come to Dallas thru free agency once he became a superstar and was in his prime...😅. He came to us the exact same way luka did. Being traded on draft night

  • Let's not forget that the Celtics made the Finals without Kyrie. So, much for Kyries teaching.

  • I’m still heartbroken that Kyrie left lebron

  • “For some kid that’s in the 6th grade” 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

  • These Luka and Kyrie pick and rolls, pick and pops are going to be unguardable.

    • Defense is a huge problem for the Mavericks, but as they said - Luka averaged 26 shots per game last season, while Brunson averaged 13. The big question now is - is Kyrie willing to settle for only averaging 13 shots per game or also Luka should reduce his number of shots and share the ball? The games when Luka scored 50 and 60 points may be over if the ball is shared and both players score 30 points each and everything is good for the team, but will the egos of both players be able to accept it?

  • The real question is how's this going to affect LeBron's legacy.

  • “Where KD gone walk? Walk into the office and ask for a trade” 😂😂😂

    • @T A serious contenders doesn't mean he was happy their. Joe tried to emasculate him kai obviously still cheesed over that

    • @Henry Ducat I Agree Bro He would Run Quick

    • @Don Cooper read the room the Lakers would have vent over back wards this summer for him if he did that. Not for the full max but for a ring in sure he would run to LeBron

    • @Henry Ducat if Kyrie did that no team would have wanted him because of his Character he wanted a 4 year max they was only going a 2 year Max they wanted to get rid of Kyrie Irving he new that and the Lakers is where Kyrie wanted to go to and he still Does the mavs Lost this Trade Watch How Kyrie act playing with ball Dominent Luka

    • 😂

  • “A kid who’s in the 6th grade” 😂😂 shannon is too funny

  • Because of the conduct of Harden, Kyrie Ben Simmons and others it should be anticipated that the CBA negotiations are going to be contentious as many of the owners are upset about players forcing trades and not honoring their contracts. However, that would mean rolling back terms of the current agreement which understandably the Players will not want to accept. No one should underestimate the potential for a Lock - Out and losing at least part of a season. The trade is effectively a win for both Kyrie and the Nets as he will get a better contract from the Mavs and they got rid of someone they no longer wanted ( no matter his talent) but based on his track record it is probable that within 2 years it will turn out badly for the Mavs . I can appreciate that the Mavs fans want to ignore his past history but as in the parable of the Scorpion and the Frog , the nature of a person cannot be changed. None of the talking heads have noted that the Mavs cannot only offer the most money to sign him but that the State tax rate of Texas is far more beneficial then California .

  • I don't think I'll ever get excited for another super team again, just think how much of a forgone conclusion we thought it was that that Nets team (and to an extent even the Clippers) would've seen atleast one NBA finals and they never even sniffed a conference finals. Just goes to show it's one thing to have a collection of talent on paper, but the game has to be played in real life with so many other factors. But man, when they got Harden, I was sure it was a wrap for the league.

  • no lie... history aside... Skip is really good at his job, seriously.

  • The Mavs will win the western conference, and be scary how Kyrie is able to meet up and Adam, and settle himself into another team, and still win

  • Kyrie is still the most exciting player i've ever watched in the NBA. Shannon does bring up a good point though: Why do 3 superstars ask for a trade, away from the same team in less than 2 yrs? Things within the Brooklyn Nets organization don't seem to be going well on all levels.

    • How the guy is bad on defense I rather watch embiid or Giannis by a long shot.

    • Shows you how weak the Nets organization is. Compete poverty franchise

    • For one, one isnt a superstar. Two that non superstar is why the first two were the original ones to ask out.

    • Look at how they treated Kyrie over some dumb tweet over a movie he had nothing to do with. Hope the whole NETS franchise fails.

  • Remember people saying last year we were going to have a Laker vs Nets finals 😁😁 ….. How dead wrong were they 😅😅

    • Lakers Nets finals might still happen but only as a NIT final.

  • Gonna miss those 2 mavs though.

  • Doncic, Irving and Hardaway.....what I say!!!!

  • Nets “ Welcome back home Spencer “ 😂😂😂😂

  • Kyrie looks like a GENIUS for refusing the jab.

  • Stars wanna team up but it only works if the players are compatible with each other's character and game style along with coaching staff. Wanting 2-3 superstars on the same team ain't always certain to work.

    • It never really works because you sacrifice depth. What happens when those players are hurt. I’m shock people don’t really understand this

    • @Darius Lukacs all I'm saying is Durant needed the Warriors more than they needed him. They were winning championships before him and after him. Even though the Warriors aren't the greatest this year, they are the type of team as long as they make it in the playoffs they can flip the script and win a championship.

    • @Elizabeth Montgomery of course he joined gsw to win rings. But he proved himself there, it's not like he was getting carried. He was their best player in that stretch, altough not by a big margin. And he still plays elite, not his fault harden jumped ship and Kyrie was doing whatever he was doing... and Ben simmmons cannot play anymore... As an individual he is at the top with the greatest. Rings are a team and org effort

    • @Darius Lukacs I like Durant as a player, I'm not saying he is trash, but my opinion is he joined the Warriors for a ring. He hasn't been able to do it on his own, and I'm pretty sure with him being on the Warriors made it easier for him. My whole point is the Warriors never truly needed Durant to win any championship.

    • @Elizabeth Montgomery he was your best player in that stretch. Plus finals mvp

  • This could be a win-win for both teams. Everything these guys are saying is true though, Kyrie is an amazing talent, but you just can’t be sure what you’re getting from him. And Dallas’ defense can get exposed in playoffs

  • I got a feeling KI will turn Dallas into a mess,he will figure out a way to do that

  • Wouldnt it be a shame if Kyrie waled this offseason after they gave up soooooo much

  • as a Nets fan.... super bummed with Kyri's decision. It was a real let down considering how good they have been doing

  • The Nets had no chance to win it all due to Ben and Claxton's free throw shooting. Kyrie knew it, so he demanded out... On top of the way the Nets treated him. It'll take the Nets years to recover from this.

  • I think Dallas made this move to have cap space this summer, they can either keep Kyrie if it works or have cap space to get someone better with Luka Doncic.

    • Many teams have had plenty of Cap-Space ny , clev , sacto etc ... Just bc there's a 'FREE-MONEY' sign on the door , doesnt guarantee a Super-Star magically appears ? ! ... As finicky & entitled most of "today's" players are , they look at $$$$ as just 1 of the MANY 'Perks' they Deserve ! ...

    • @MultiSVED Better or not is irrelevant. He plays the same position as Luka. They are both two of the best ball dominant ball handlers in the NBA. There is only one ball. Kyrie isn't a 'sharpshooter'. He needs to handle and create his shot. No one better, BUT that is exactly what Luka does. So in THIS situation someone like Zach Levine from Chicago would be a better fit.

    • That’s definitely not why they made the move but most definitely a benefit!

    • @Toxic Kingthe most the Mavs could give Kyrie on an extension right now is 2 years, so he probably wouldn’t sign it.

    • you cant get better player then kyrie
