As a Sonic fan, I really wanna someone like Emerl or Shade eventually join the death battle Shade because even though she's powerless, her weaponry, skills and versatility is stupid powerful. (Her leech blades can drain the energy from something or someone). Emerl because not only is he crazy tough, being a Gizoid Emerl has the ability to copy any ability from anyone for he may face regards if it was a robot or even a god (With a weakness being he can't use this ability if facing more than two foes at one)

I got an underrated matchup for you: SMG4 vs. Four. Both are blue coded aliens from popular web series. Both show up out of nowhere to take over something, the Mushroom Kingdom and BFDI respectively, to pursue their dreams, to make memes and host BFDI respectively. Both also have “four” in their names.
For this season i hope we can get a Big Boss vs agent 47 matchup. 2 of the most lethal and somewhat realistic human beings

Some death battles that’d be pretty cool to see would be Jehuty vs Gundam, Sonic vs Goku, and Ant-Man vs Atom Smasher.

Make a Talim (from soulcalibur) VS Llly (New character from SF6) Death Battle !!! They are pretty much 1:1 in every aspect. Seeing Lily crack her skull open and smash Talim's brain to a mush with those mean looking war clubs would be gruesome and epic xD

Not gonna lie. I'm in the group that prefers yall to debate matches more than just casual chatting. But I do appreciate those episodes too. This one was still rather entertaining and I usually just listen to these at work anyway. I will say that I am probably much more easy to tolerate either format when it is brought up as early as possible. So like introduce yourselves then immediately say "hey this is just a hangout session". I don't think anyone would be upset if that were the case. If someone desperately wants to hear a match up that badly that they get offended by being told early. Then they didn't bother looking up another video to hold them over. Lol. Because the VS community is quite extensive now. Granted yall are some of the top dogs in it. But there are other options for those who just can't wait for the next discussion from you guys. Anyway sorry to ramble. Love the show(s). Thank you for all the work yall do. I've been a long time fan and even if I don't always agree with the outcome the ride is usually worth it nonetheless. I look forward to everything coming down the pipeline
So if images for novels is the issue then I would suggest looking up fan art (or ask the community because yall used to post fan pics all the time on death battle cast) for the people, places, and things involved in a novel. You may have to ask for permission from the artists (sometimes they just want to be credited which can be done on screen while their work is being used) or even buy it. But for only doing it as an occasional episode and not an overly regular thing then it shouldn't necessarily break the bank for the show's budget. Just a thought
I may not be a DB Champion myself, but I do hope to see a matchup between Raiden Shogun against whoever that will be the best opponent to her someday. It can be anyone who comes in mind, as long it'll be a good matchup.

@WyvernLP There is also a Big Hero 6 cartoon, Baymax cartoon, a comic series (that is specifically the Disney version not the original Marvel comic version) and a manga plus I'm pretty sure Baymax and Hiro beat Hiccup and Toothless even if they only used the movie (though I can't say for certain).

But yes I do understand what you mean, series with more content do generally have more potential to have a lot more impressive stuff to talk about, thanks for keeping this discussion civil

41:38 if you guys considering a Warhammer 40K I would suggest Thrall vs Ghazkhull or Brainiac vs Trazyn the Infinite. Warcraft and DC is already a featured series so they can easily focus research on the 40K characters instead. There's definitely more good mus out there but these one's are what comes to mind at the moment.
I think a simple one as well they could do is Kharn the Betrayer vs Cosmic Ghost rider which also would be simple to look into as well for both characters

I still want to kinda see ranma from ranma 1/2 VS Kenlchi From Ryozanpaku Come on people this is a death battle whose time has come both characters are martial artists with unique special skills and abilities They're fairly evenly matched Even though I think Kenlchi Adaptability and his unique skill to mimic the martial arts styles and personalities of other fighters Gives him A slight advantage in some ways. / ranma has his own tricks for instance every time he activates his curse and switches from boy to girl and back again he can heal himself Especially any bone damage Even muscle damage is slightly healed when he transforms This is the reasons in his show He has such a fast recovery rate Because even if he cracks and breaks almost every bone in his body all he has to do is splash himself with some cold or hot water And just like that he's almost as good as new So you can see why this would be an incredible fight between 2 martial arts characters
