Niall Horan Teaches You Irish Slang | Vanity Fair

  • Who else is in love with his accent!?!?

  • He makes me really happy, he has an amazing personality

  • His American accent sounds like dannile Radcliffes

  • his tank is on backwards 😂

  • thick is slow hahahah

  • Real Irish🇨🇮

  • Grammy,ah a classic

  • I think Irish people are interesting when they use those words.

  • Some of these words can be used in more context, like eejit is pretty universal, if it's someone who's annoying or you dislike he's an eejit but can be used in a playful way like calling a friend an eejit for falling over. Thick can be uses to call someone stupid, not just for getting angry. Like, someone poking you over and over and keeping telling them to stop you'd say "are ye thick?"

  • Yup the boyo

  • Who knows what shades mean

  • I'm Irish sham doesn't mean bud it means omg or jesus

  • Is his tshirt inside out 😂

  • Why do I use half these words? Never been to Ireland

  • this reminds me of the interview amybeth did where she taught her costar irish slang

  • No entendí ni madres, ahora entiendo como se sienten los demás cuando explico mexican slang

  • Who is that man who looks like Nail Horan but has an American accent

  • Me: sees Niall Horan and misses being a Directioner After the video : yeah you know what maybe I never stopped being a Directioner 😌

  • Everything is so cute about him and then there are his fascinating eyes.

  • Fun fact: thick is also used to mean stupid (“you’re thick”)

    • Lulu xoxbear yeah that’s the only context I’d use it in

  • my name is sham lol

  • I’m British but I use a lot of these phases 😂

  • Vanity fair thinking irish slang is the same as the Irish language. it is the oldest vernacular language in Europe.

  • You crack me up your

  • His eyes are so fooking blue in this video I can't even look at them straight...🇮🇪💜

  • oo niall. thick means stupid. dumdum

  • Any one else clutchy 😉☘️

  • Like if irish ☘️

  • I live for his various iterations of American accents throughout his interviews

  • I moved to irland last year september and i never realised how strong nial horans accent actually is

  • Forgot the most important one. ''You're a good craic''.

  • Welsh people say most of these 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🇮🇪

  • 1:07 you cannot tell me that doesn’t sound like cody ko

  • 1:07

  • I'm Irish and haven't heard half of these

  • Does anyone listen to this over and over? 😍 Especially, 1:35 "You are firmly wrong" Such a thick accent there ❤

  • He has the American accent down so well 😂

  • The way he leans in with every new word like he's our old Irish grandpa bout to tell us a story

  • I’m Irish but I didn’t get most of them but I’m only 13
