Pippen said MJ used 'The Last Dance' to outshine LeBron - Skip & Shanon react | NBA | UNDISPUTED
čas přidán 2. 11. 2021
Excerpts from Scottie Pippen’s memoir got social media buzzing yesterday as Pippen didn’t hold back about how he felt about Michael Jordan and his documentary 'The Last Dance'. Pippen wrote of MJ quote, 'He couldn’t have been more condescending if he tried,' and also explained that his former teammate was determined to prove he's a bigger star than LeBron is now. Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe discuss Pippen's comment on MJ.

“Turn the other cheek. That’s in the Bible, and I ain’t in there” - Shannon Sharpe (2021)
He said try jesus not me
2:54😂
Lmaaaooo
@Kewon Johnson if prime pippen played on those teams after he would have won rings, did you forget how bad pippen back was 98 finals that was a post back surgery washed up Pippen
Shut Ya Mouth so you’re saying just because it’s a book from the past makes it incorrect lmao? So that means if science finds something true today, then tomorrow since it’s the past it won’t be credible anymore because it’s the “past” you sound slow guy. And location can have something to do with religion but not totally so you can’t just pin it to that. Look at Kyrie Irving his religion is Islam and he is from New Jersey and there are millions more like that so it has nothing to do with location bro. You are also saying parents are a factor in what religion you choose is also false because in my case my parents don’t believe in God. So you are just stating corny made up”facts” that try to make your argument right.
Shannon has me rolling. "I'm not fitting to turn the other cheek. That's in the Bible. I'm not in there. I'm gonna put something on you." The legend continues.
Nah…..there’s nothing to interpret. Tell me one time Jesus retaliated physically.
Unc was preaching when he dropped that line!... I'm gonna have to use that one and the other about being the bigger man meaning you're around too many small people.
LOL 🤣🤣
Its not in the bible, never was. its christianity new testament.
King!!!! 😂👑💎💎💎
Pippen HOF speech 2010, with MJ standing by his side, presenting him: "What an honor it is for me as a basketball player to have the all-time great presenting me here tonight. It was so valuable to me as a player to see someone who had the same desire, determination, passion and love for the game. Who knew that No. 23 would be here 23 years later presenting me into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame? MJ, you have touched so many people’s lives, but none like mine. Thank you for being the best teammate; I will always cherish that experience and I will cherish our relationship forever." Stop it. Get some help.
Scottie Pippen was always the best defender on the team and passer second in scoring and he never gets his Credit 4 Championships without him they don't get those championships
Lol so people can't show their true colors... jordan couldn't have changed up and cut the act? Already cut off barkley... then he painted pippen in a bad light... not what a friend does
@Nick (Pedaissance)better than blaming MJ rightfully for his own fathers death
@Nick (Pedaissance) Yeah, 'condolences' is not the same thing as an 'apology'
@Nick (Pedaissance) Recently a friends brother OD’d, I as a person would prefer not to say anything until the funeral, as I just dont want to stir up old memories especially after something we did that was fun, We dont know pippens POV, And what their relationship was like, maybe they couldnt be in contact or it was a bad time, or so and so
"Couldn't pour him on Charles Oakley" As a fellow country boy I love it when Shannon is in full country quote mode!😂😂😂
Yeah, we don't know anything about phrases like that up North. LOL
“If michael Jordan was chocolate, you couldn’t pour him on Charles Oakley…” What? Love this guy.
😂😂😂😂😂
I don't know sounds a little sugary to me
Yeah, that was deep
Charles would have decked him and no Bull would get in between the two. If you doubt that then you didn't watch Bball then.
4:30 “I was there in 1998.” - Skip Bayless We all knew it was only a matter of time for him to tell us all…
Bro I always thought Skip was in Chicago for years, recently found out he was only at the Chicago Tribune one year lmfaooo FOH Skip😭 Jordan liked you cause he like people that worship him
Shannon: "if you have to keep being the bigger man you're hanging around too many small damn people"
@Mark Cleveland Dude, you're in your feelings. MJ was PLAYED to PLAY & WIN, not please our sensibilities!
@Heartoflion Nobody is saying he ain't the Goat but, I agree with Shannon I don't think a Goat would go after a Bull Elephant either 😎

@MrSPIDEY21 any knowledge you learn you didn't create, why make an issue over words quoted?
It is amazing (after all these years) how MJ continues to live rent free on all these dudes’ minds!
Lebron pretty clearly lives rent free in Jordan's head
Anybody who watched the Last Dance seen that the whole story was to show how everything led to the last dance. The pippen story was a part of the big picture. Starting around episode 3 they showed a Finals championship and a playoff series of the 1998 playoffs. Soooo when they got to the seasons they didn't win a Finals they was going to show why they didn't. They showed when they lost to orlando and they showed Pippen situation from the year before that. So it was not out of place to show it.
I remember Larry Bird laying on the sidelines with a bad back and getting back in the game without any complaining.
@Jaye 20 ok that was funny 😭😭
@Jaye 20 i hope scottie retired after that back too coz he aint nowhere near the bulls pippen after that.
@Jaye 20 Game. Set. Match.
Larry also retired early because of that bad back
This man said, "If Michael Jordan was chocolate you couldn't melt him and pour him on Charles Oakley" OMG 😂😂😂 This guy comes up with the most off the wall jokes that are SO funny!! That damn uncle Shay Shay.... 😂🤣
Scottie can feel how he feels. It’s him taking his story back. Yes he wasn’t an equal to MJ but he wasn’t just a player along for the ride!
Scottie can say how he feels, just how he feels are the feelings of petty, bitter ingrate. Essentially, he was sour over signing a stupid contract that he had no one to blame but himself for. He never once stops to consider that while he had an influence on the Bulls, perhaps MJ had an influence on him and helped him to achieve more as well. Michael didn't pay your contract, nor did he sign it. Scottie did some juvenile emotional things that displayed his ego came before his responsibilities to the team. After all this time, he still hasn't come to terms with the decisions he has yet to take accountability for. Scottie should have had nothing but gratitude for being a part of the legend that Jordan created.
The Scottie and mj dynamic is know different than steph and klay Or kd and steph there damn near equals but one decides to take a backseat so the other can shine
Right. He deserves the credit and attention. We know how well MJ did without guys like Pippen. First round exits, so let's give credit where it's due.
Shannon gotta drop the book full of quotables from Grandmother and Grandfather. It would be a gem.
Top seller
it would have an overhead pic of him on the front and we would all find out shannon sharpe is actually 32
I swear
2:59 was *epic* 🏆
I’d buy it
I think it's Bill Wenington who tells this story, but I may be wrong. Scottie challenged Mike to 1 on 1 after practice one day. Mike asked Scottie, "are you sure"? Scottie's like Yes. Mike proceeded to destroy Scottie.
I love how it was, "MJ made The Last Dance all about him". Now it's Scottie says, "You weren't there in '94 Michael. Why was that part of The Last Dance?".... Make up your mind.
The last dance was not a 1998 season exclusive documentary - it was a way to tell MJ's story going back to childhood.
Skip asked when Mike had ever referred to Scottie Pippen as his friend. I'm pretty sure Michael Jordan himself said that he looked at Scottie like a brother.
He also said multiple times that He wouldnt have been as successful without Scottie being right there. I have no clue why Scottie would be so salty now other than trying to promote the book he was releasing. Otherwise there is no reason for him to be mad at Mike
Little brother
Only on media they don’t actually like each other in person. Jordan thinks he’s pretty pathetic the more years that have passed.
"He hit Steve Kerr in the eye, that was to make Steve Kerr better"😭😭🤣🤣🤣
Shannon Sharpe has some of the best sayings and it just comes out his mouth smooth like he doesn't even try . 💯💯💯
@Can't Stop- Won't Stop you sound triggered little one. Just dropping the truth.
He's like Forrest Gump's mom
@Can't Stop- Won't Stop - You ain't lying. My mom's family lives in North Carolina. Whenever I visited them in my childhood, I'd get the same pearls of wisdom, lol.
ayo?
I'm born and raised on the south side of Chicago so I seen these bulls teams first hand. People seem to forget things like how scottie was the one who had to guard magic after game one because Jordan almost fouled out during game one and the bulls lost because magic was able to do his thing with Mike on him. Things changed when they put scottie on him and not only did he pickup magic full court he also was scoring like 30 a game in those finals. Scottie was the one who ran and setup the bulls offense, guarded the other teams best perimeter player and he was second on the bulls when scoring. Let us not forget how in 94 if I wasn't for a ref who was being looked at by the feds for throwing nba games the bulls would have beat the knicks and went to the finals if it wasn't for the bogus foul call. People bring up the Houston Houston portland days but scottie was 34 years old by then and was having back problems and was still good so give scottie more credit because if it wasn't for him mike wouldn't be mike
Love how Shannon always adds fire quotes from his grandfather when making points and punchlines :D
It's hard to disagree with grandma 👵
"If Michael Jordan was chocolate u couldn't melt him and throw him on oak" 😂🤣
Everybody say it was supposed to be about the Bulls last dance. 😂 MJ is the Bulls!!! “Til tis Day”
@Breelio🎸 true but Jordan wouldn't be the goat without the bulls. That's a fact. He was just a stats guy in the 80s
@nirnish Put another name even w/out Pippen, there will be replacement that will rise beside MJ... he only need a young player to be mentored by MJ become great player... MJ is the bulls catalyst... MJ came in the league bulls wasn't young can't catch up.
@nirnish don’t matter Michael Jordan put the bulls on the map
He’s the bulls but couldn’t win anything without Pippen lmao
the last dance just put out the facts pippen did do those things and that is that, pippen will always have to live with those mis-steps but make no mistake he was still one of the greatest players ever but i feel this situation just shows pippen is still not at peace with those decisions which is sad!
"Whenever they speak Michael Jordan, they should speak Scottie Pippen." - MJ's own words. Seriously, what else needs to be said?
@Kewon Johnson mj did not help pip become a star that was the greatest coach of all time who brought the dog outta him jordan had 7 years to show you he could make his teammates better and it never happened
@Eric Dupree man the last dance was shot in 98 for the purpose of being a documentary one day..lebron wasnt even playing in h.s that year.

Shannon: “I ain’t finna be the bigger man and turn the other cheek. That’s in the bible, I ain’t in there.” 😹
That shows how competitive Michael is. Old habits die hard.
Jordan was the man but he says it himself he couldn’t do it without Scottie
@asdasd binaltia pa yan sa 24 oras 2007 Couldn't have said it better myself. That sums it up perfectly.
Scottie was the product of jordan and the triangle offense, without michael mentorship scottie will never be as great as he was in the 90's , in the 80's he was a bum , mj was a superstar in the 80's ge dominate the mvp's like mahic bird though he didnt won a ring because the team was not mature enough , then the triangle system began when they started winning chips, and outlast rhe detroit ,however scottie was fitted in the triangle as a all around player , you wanna know why ? Why he was leading in assist? Who's the person he always pass the ball first mj right? In the 80's scorttie is nothing until he became the product of bith jordan and phil , in the 80's jordan was a terrific player winning mvp and dpoy they both need each other, but it should be scottie who thank phil and mj for who he become as a great player
@NBAGOATS You are really into sports now aren't you. You are talking to personally goes beyond sports. First you asked me question than put out something that you argued with a MJ fan. Well I let me ask you question is NBA sport?
@Heartoflion Must see?...lol. Listen, greatest and best mean 2 different things. Greatest has more to do with popularity and accolades. Best has more to do with skills and production. The best most fair way to measure players over any era is to go by position. Look and compare their skills, determination and productivity. Those qualities and aspects can be measured. Anything else is just a fantasy.
@NBAGOATS yes the goat debate which Jordan himself said you cannot measure and say whom is the greatest because he didn't play against the past greats. Say one thing and bleaving is another case. Especially what MJ fans bleave. But my video is must see because it shows rather describes.
When it comes to being petty I am Skip Baylees “ HOW IS HE DOING “ 😂😂
Having watched the last dance now 3 or 4 times i dont feel it painted scottie in a negative light at all made me love scottie even more
No but it didn’t highlight Scottie full greatness either. Scottie was a mvp candidate the year Jordan retired and it didn’t tell that season in full and show Scottie balling as the leader but definitely showed him not subbing in the game and being mad at his contract.
Jordan with the last dance was insinuating the difference between the two read between the lines and you see it was full of sneaking dissing I played with the flu Scottie quit with a migraine
I thought more negative of MJ after watching it to be honest, so I think Scottie is just overreacting 😆
Right
"if you have to keep being the bigger man you're hanging around too many small damn people" Shannon's grandma and grandpa are like the mark twains of the 20th century
😂😂😂
ROTF 😂😂😂‼️
Danny Tallmage y would Shannon lie about things his deceased grandparents said to him and his brother vouched they did always say a lot of quotes to them that Shannon brings up
Danny Tallmage you’re insecure
@Keandre Green where?
Skip you are 💯 Scottie wouldn't be in the light if he hadn't played with MJ. After Jordan left Scottie looked okay at best.
@King Luke u must from China?
They had back to back 50+ win seasons & a game away from the Finals as the leading scorer & Assist. What would Jordan won without him?
Talent cant be denied to MJ and undoubtedly one of the greatest out there for my self i was born in 99’ started watching BB in 2010 so i never saw MJ play so for “me” i cant say MJ is the greatest of all time, maybe his era just like there will be more in different eras.
Fact Is, in the great grand scheme of things, Pippen, Isaiah Thomas, etc are all side notes in Michael Jordan's history, as far as the game is concerned. It's just unfortunate for them that they can't reconcile themselves with that fact. Pity. Conversely,...who's ever content being referred to as " a or the Robin to...?.
Uh no one was really talk about Jordan until now
2:57 “I’m tired of being the bigger man” 💯💯💯💪🏾
In response to Shannon...there were other stories told in that doc that MJ wasn't apart of either but they still made it in like Kerr's & Kukoc's story, for example.
When I saw the title of this video, I knew Skip was gonna say "I was there".
😂😂😂😂
To be fair, Everytime the subject good to MJ, we hear skip worked at the Chicago Tribune. Could be worse lol
Because he was there Lol, would you prefer to listen to a person that was not in that event ? To give insights.
@Jay MoB Nah he don't mind being associated with Skip.
And he says it like it's some extra credibility but he's the same one getting tight when athletes say he doesn't know what he's talking about because he never played.
The strange thing about Scottie is that being named as one of the 50 Greatest isn't enough for him. Scottie is literally named in the top 1% players all time. That's not enough??
Perfect example: Michael Jordan dominated "practice" on the Dream Team with all NBA legends.
@Arizona Fire Ent ya but he was only talking about the practice that they all had together not the actual tournament itself….. 🌝
Coach Daly said Barkley was the mvp of that team but yea let's slurp Jordan
These two together are so very wonderful.
i love how Skip shred Michael Jordan to pieces while pretending to defend him!!! Jordan was not condescending, he was the best player and demanded the best from his team mates, he was trash talker in a positive way, he was well spoken, and he cared about his team mate Pippen like a brother
"It's not trash, if it's true" 😏.
Michael and Scotty be constantly queefing on each other.😭😭
Scottie Pippen has the deepest voice in NBA History
Mutumbo would like to have a word
Blah blah blah media talk…the 94 Bulls improved the roster with Kukoc etc etc..that’s why Houston wouldn’t have beat Chicago if MJ didn’t retire…in 95 Grant left and the Bulls sucked and in 94 they lost in the second round not the conference championship and the trailblazers lost to the lakers in the conference finals the year before Scottie…they went no further with Scottie addded🤣✌🏽
Scottie can talk to whales
Shaq's voice may have a little more bass, but Pippen's voice is definitely a lot stronger on the "almost bass" range Pippen's voice is like a bassey burp while too close to a mic. (No pun intended) Shaq's voice is somewhat like when you're a little too close to a microphone and you get a little bass.
@SuperThumpasaurus Shaqs voice isn’t deeper. It just sounds dumb
Shannon really talking about an aged and experienced MJ going after his players and comparing it to the young and less experienced MJ not going after his players because he was scared 🙄
Shannon needs a book with all his quotes the guy is on another level
“Scotty is a good, not great player” and “Scottie is one of the 50 greatest players of all time” show how much Skips narrative changes based on his argument.
@MarkieD delusional take.
Scottie should never be 50 greatest though... And Dominique Wilkins wasn't. Super laughable. Scottie should be on his knees thanking MJ
If scotty is the other team he would not be on the 50 greatest player.. he gpes to houston average 15 points portland 13 to 14 points. He is an average player....
It didn't change bro... being one of the 50 greatest and one of, if not, THE BEST EVER (🐐) are two completely different things.

@YoWordDontMeanNathan scottie never won another championship without michael
@YoWordDontMeanNathan You mean the Portland TrailBlazers that made it to the 1999 Western Conference finals before adding Scottie Pippen? Pippen was a complementary piece on a deep Portland roster, not to mention Pippen melted down in Game 7 of the 2000 Western Conference finals when the Lakers came back to win the series.
@YoWordDontMeanNathan and Scottie did absolutely nothing to get to that game including game 7 😂
Scottie deserves his respect
Most definitely. Hall of Famer, 2 of the best players ever, Jersey retired at Chicago. What else does he want?
"If Michael Jordan was chocolate you couldn't melt him and pour him over Charles Oakley" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@Elijah have you seen shannons lbj jersey shrine??? So yea i do believe unc does. I know for a fact nick wright and kendrick perkins do tho
@Disco Kidd and you believe that? 😂
Gold!!!! 😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣
@Elijah im not so sure. This guy has admitted to sleepibg in lbj lbj pajamas. What man sleeps in pajamas with another mans face in them 🤔😳
Last time I checked The Last Dance was about the ENTIRE Bulls organization, literally! From the owner, to the General Manager, to the teammates, down to the security guards. Why was it okay to show MJ’s gambling issues, him losing his dad, him looking like a bully, but they can’t show Scottie walking out on his teammates 🤷🏽♀️ Ain’t nobody taking shots at Scottie! They showed a lot of negative things about MJ, so if you’re arguing that it should’ve been more about the team, it already was and Scottie should take the good and the bad.
This is like saying, “Why is Michael Jackson shown more in this JACKSON 5 documentary?” Or “Why is Stan Lee shown more in this MARVEL documentary?”
@A J yea he had editorial rights, but with that being said, he could’ve easily taken out how much of a competitive gambler he is to where he hated losing to the security guard and didn’t want to stop until he won. But the bottom line is that the documentary shown everyone the good the bad and the ugly of the Bulls, especially MJ & Pip. Pippen and others want to act like he was the only person that looked bad in there, when he wasn’t. I mean even before the Last Dance came out, people already seen/read, heard and knew that he walked out on the team and refused to not get surgery when he was supposed to.
@A J did u not read what I just said?So what if he did?? So was he just supposed to include everything, the good and the bad about himself, but let Scottie look like a saint?
Because MJ had editorial control. He approved what went into the documentary.
“That’s in the Bible. I ain’t I there” 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Thanks Shannon for pointing our where Scottie is coming from. But, l think M.J. said that he thought Pipp was selfish about that because he believed that Scottie was good enough to go and get another Championship again as the standing leader of the team that season. From the appetite of a winner. M.J. was saying the that just l am stepping down, don't throw your towel in. You were that good and it was a compliment from the GOAT.
MJ is truly the goat
The documentary spanned the entire career of MJ and that team. Yes the main focus was the last season but to say that should have been all it was about is a very silly argument.
Shay said, “That’s in the Bible, I ain’t in there.”🤣🤣🤣🤣
@Uqisha Huntsman 😂
I just thought what Shannon said was funny bro some of y’all in here trippin🤣🤣🤣 sheeesh but carry on get it all off your chest lol
@Metaphysical Perspective forced? Perhaps 🤔 they emphasized Scriptures and “their” personal interpretations benefited “them”. More important to note 📝 is the many who were burned and tortured for spreading the Bible ( Martin Luther) era. I wonder why that was? The Bible IS more truthful and facilitating and Powerful than most people realize or will admit to .
Yes Jordan needed his teammates but they DEFINITELY needed Jordan also. I believe if you replace Scottie with another good person the outcome would’ve been the same. You couldn’t replace Jordan.
Lol seriously WOW Pipen is the best two way player and you're saying you could replace him with someone. So now you're comparing Jordan with Brady sorry bro 7 beats 6
I guess u couldn’t replace Jordan with Kobe 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️I guess Kobe was just a bum 😂😂😂Kobe was literally Jordan that played for the lakers
@caoxigen True so True but let's ask this simple question, did he beat the Knicks in 7 games ? .... " NO "so why continue to lament on the " WHT IF'S " bcse he Did Not Get Past them ?
@Keith Nixon If you wnt to kno who let me tell you okay Jerry Krause of the Chicago Bulls wntd to Trade Scottie for Tracey McGrady, MJ is the one who stopped the trade wen he told them if you let go Scottie you lose me as well.
Shanon repeatedly said MJ kept taking shots at Pip. Pip was actually taking shots at MJ before The Last Dance came out. I don’t want to choose sides between Pip and MJ, they both have a case. Just a sad situation and I hope Pip finds peace.
Shannon out here stealing Skip’s lines. Dude is a master troll 😂😂
Bible: Moses parts the Red Sea Skip: I first guessed it! Bible: Jesus walked out the tomb Skip: I was there! 🤣🤣🤣
People who were around Jordan treat him as he cannot do any wrong, but people who were with Jordan on the court are telling you all the truth. People around you occasionally will always see the good side of you, but your family will describe you differently because they truly know who you are when the cameras are not on..
How many times does Jordan have to tell the world that he couldn’t have won without Scottie? Lol
@only truth aww, look at you so desperate for attention 😂😂😂
@only truth Aww, typical Lebum fans talking like a 12-yo. I think it's time for you to change your diaper.😂
@Let It Rain ... Awe , get back in your Antique Time-Warp ! ... We have Cell-phones , Flat-Screen TV'S & Self-Driving Cars now ! ... You Dinosaurs are EXTINCT -RIP 🚮
@only truth you must be 12 yo lmao
Did Scottie even watch the whole thing? I don’t see anything wrong with how he was portrayed. If anything, it even made me appreciate him more. Under-appreciated dude who knew his worth and had to do what he had to do bc of the circumstances pitted against him. His actions were valid and should be everybody’s mindset. There were no shots taken afaik.
@Rhonda Yvette well the owner told him not to sign the contract that he signed and wait till next year Bc he would have gotten more.. nobody put a gun to his head and made him sign it.. 18 mil for 7 years that terrible and he knew reinsdorf wasn’t going to renegotiate..
@Mike Mills well, to be fair, Scottie had several revenue streams. For Scottie, it wasn't JUST about the money. It was a matter of principle--compensation ultimately reflects how an organization values its members. And he wasn't wrong to gripe about that. As for MJ, I agree to some extent, he may have been insensitive but then again, the goal during the last dance was to do something legendary. And it wasn't as if it was only MJ who would've benefitted from it. The whole team would. What bothers me is why Scottie felt so slighted about how he was portrayed in the Last Dance. To me personally, I've identified with him and learned a lot from his struggles and how he dealt with them.
Michael was making over 30M that year, whilst Scottie was grossly underpaid at 3M and trying to leverage the team to make a little more. Mike thought that was selfish of Scottie.. Unbelievable.. It shows you what a tyrant and a utterly disgusting human being Michael was..
I concur
They told the Scottie story because it explains why the Bulls needed their true leader back.
They leader came bacc and drop 55 in the garden and eeeybody said “he’s bacc” then he led them to a loss vs 23 yo shaq and 23 yo second year penny and everybody said “he’s rusty” 💀💀💀💀
@Frostshokula I'm not pressed to be correct with grammar & punctuation for CS-tv it isn't that serious maybe I should've use more commas & periods...🤣🤷🏽♂️
@SouljaMakinBreadTV Please tell me English isn’t your first language.
@Heavena Wilson Scottie didn’t play for the Bulls after their 6th chip. Well not until his last season so he could retire there.
3:15 Skip workin real hard not to bust up
Shannon, but this documentary was about Chicago Bulls so that is why they had Scottie's story even when Jordan wasn't playing at the time.
This Scottie pippen Michael Jordan thing just kind of reminds me of Michael Jackson and Marlon Jackson. Marlon Jackson was a really really good dancer but most people wouldn't know that because he was overshadowed by the greatest dancer in pop history.
Skip said Scottie Pippen is a good player not great player. That's hilarious. Scottie is one of the greatest 50 players and 75 players in NBA history.
@YRN x KJ you definitely didn't have to. I specifically said he was playing no. 1 option ball for a short span (obviously when Jordan retired) and was already getting ready to decline when Jordan came back. So your response comment literally made zero sense, nor addressed anything I said.
@Laid Back 1-20-7 your comment was non sense. You’re lucky I even replied to that BS
@Tyrell Reid Greatest Of All Trash 🤣
@Tyrell Reid still shot 28.8 3P% in the regular season without the shortened 3 point line, 5 pts in a 3 point contest, 10 seasons shot under 34 3P%, 19.4 3P% from the shortened 3 point line in the 1997 playoffs 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The last dance basically covered the whole bulls dynasty. It had to start from the beginning when Jordan started and ended with the last dance. Without Jordan, the Bulls dynasty wouldn’t exist period.
@nirnish agreed, not to mention Rodman addition
No, without Pippen the Bulls were never ever going to win a Playoff series. Look at Jordan's career without Pippen. Only thing Jordan won was Rookie of the year and 1 Playoff game out of 3 series. Jordan had the chance to prove he never needed Pippen and he FAILED MISERABLY! 2 years with the Wizards in the WEAK EAST and 1 Game 7 against the Pistons. He was blown off the court without Pippen. Tell me the BS you just said about Jordan again..........
@nirnish you better watch the last dance. Magic already said they know MJ is coming. He just needs the right horses to go along with him. Because like it or not the game is 5v5 and the bulls during the 80's need additional threaths other than MJ. Phil Jackson told MJ that they need other threats and that's when MJ's energy started to go towards his teammates pushing them to get better.
lol wrong, the bulls had Jordan and he did nothing. When Pippen came along that’s when they started winning. MJ had the greatest help of all time in Scottie Pippen. So mj AND Pippen is the dynasty.
It's tough to believe anything that scottie says because he flip-flops on what he says a lot
In that time they were probably 10 players who could do pip's job easily
I was 6 when I started watching the bulls dynasty, I'm a big Jordon fan, but even I couldn't believe how scotty was minimize in the last dance, scotty was the second biggest reason for those championships, imagine a draymond green with offense skills who can shoot, that does all the dirty work, yet in the doc none of scottie's contribution was mentioned only the game in 1994 which has nothing to do with the last season, why do your boy dirty like that ?
Ey, but scottie was framed too much, when MJ showed him as the main reason trying to sabotage the team 😂
I think that was Pip's point. It isnt the Last Dance of the Chi Bulls. It was another Michael Jordan documentary. And Horace and Pip all had negative reaction towards it. Maked you think.
We talking about what Pippin said about MJ during the 90s BUT LEBRON STILL COMES UP😂😂😂😂😂
“I read the article! I read the excerpt!” gotta love Shannon 😂
Underrated comment 😂
Omg!!! I'm dyin...he said if Michael Jordan was chocolate you couldn't have melted him and poured him on Charles Oakley🤣🤣
Jordan didn't bully them to bring them down, he did it so he could make his team great and win championships, Jordan never bullied his team, he was leading them to greatness
Jordan dumped on all of his doubters during his hall of fame speech. He also said without Pippen there is no Michael Jordan
Boy before Barkley got to Houston he had the Suns clicking. That was his best opportunity to win one.
isn't the last dance more about MJ than the team 🤣🤣
"Jordan would have gone after a bull elephant" 😂😂😂
Not if that bull elephant had a Robert Parrish mask
And he would have brought a .375 magnum to the rematch in the playoffs.
Deluded
@Jose Sandoval 🧢🧢🧢
And would’ve gotten smashed instantly 😂😂😂
Note: This is why Kyrie left Lebron. He knew he'd be in Scotties shoes at the end of his career.
The question nobody is asking is...why did MJ have creative control in the doc? If he's the star, it goes as he goes. People wanted to see more of him in the first place. Also, MJ put some negative things in that doc about HIMSELF too that Shannon just quickly glossed over because it doesn't help his case.
Imo Scottie was the greatest 2nd best player of all time, he was talented but more importantly he was able perfectly play his role as the second best player in the team and mold himself to what the team needed.
Pippen is top 5 most OVERRATED players ever
So Skip is going to omitt the fact that 2 of Pippens All Star seasons were in the years Jordan missed all of one season and majority of another.
“If u gotta keep always being the bigger man, boy u hangs out wit too small people” -Uncle Shay
How skip always there? Skip: “I was there, I covered the first game of basketball in 1892, and then I knew it was going to be a great game.”
😂
😂 lmfaooi
🤣🤣🤣
@Young Love 😂
I say it Everytime...you can't be the goat in anything if you're 4-6 in the finals. It is what it is
I know I’m late but would you rather lose in first round or not make the playoffs? It’s weird that people would think that way…
It's Scottie fault he was portrayed in this fashion. He just doesn't want to take accountability
2:56 Shay's granddaddy was the truth! Rest in Power Mr. Porter
Most people agree that The Last Dance did not make Scottie look bad. Those were just all facts and the documentary showed that Scottie did overcome all those obstacles.
Damn, MJ got Shannon's lady and his soul!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
he got painted in a negative light for one little section. The rest it was jordan talking about how amazing scottie was. How unreal he was as a team mate.
You can stop lying. It was a paragraph at best
If Scottie didn't like that they put the 1994 incident and the surgery in the documentary then why did he agree to talk about it when interviewed for the documentary
10:01 was said so perfectly lmao
I’m so many words Skip letting Sharpe know u blessed to be on this show it’s me 😂
skip: i was there! also skip: i’ve never seen anything quite like this
Scottie trying to get the bestseller title🤣🤣🤣🤣
@Sean Deans he isn’t though. He and MJ used to practice outside the normal practice hours in MJ’s private gym on his Chicago property. How is that possible when they were never close friends or friends at all like Scottie claims? How was MJ being condescending to say Scottie is his greatest teammate and without him there is no MJ? Scottie even said that same thing in this article yet it’s disingenuous when Mike say it? How is that true when based on Scottie’s words he doesn’t actually know Mike cause they were never friends??
Scottie needs to pump the brakes.
Or he's telling the truth and jordanite nation needs to accept it
Truth hurts😁
This man stays saying he was there for the whole Michael Jordan experience but yet I’ve never seen Michael say a word about this man, heck he was no where to be found in the last dance, he must have been invisible back then.
Scottie was very important in every championship Micheal won.
“That’s in the Bible! I ain’t in there” 😂 3:05
