@Ken McFadden the thing is that the turtle was able to move even before getting in the water it seemed to have the energy left to start moving at normal speed if the turtle got there naturally wich would be the spring tide wich happens every about 12 days during a lunar month and he said that the neyt spring tide would only come in like a week wich is going to be somewhere between 6-9 days the turtle would be atleast 3 days out in the hot sun with barely any water or food so it won't be able to be that fast at swimming

Most mammals studied and many reptiles (including turtles), a lot of birds have been proven to have the same parts of the brain light up when presented with certain stimuli. That turtle probably did feel genuine appreciation

I saved a dragonfly, that experience has stuck with me. Sometimes I think about someone showing me the same random kindness or how i can do more of that. Thinking about how life changing and how amazing it feels to connect with the world around us in tangible ways

And also the deep sadness you feel when you can't save them... I found a small bird on my doorstep in shock and tried to save it, did everything I could but I couldn't save it, I watched it take its last breath and I cried, I buried it and when I moved I dug it up and made a littel dome with its scull, I know that may seem morbid but it had been a long time so it was just bones and i just couldn't face leaving it there.

@Kevin Schafer Highly doubt it. There are much easier animals to get ahold of to make videos like that than sea turtles. And sea turtles are well known for doing exactly what he said, they swim inland and don’t leave with the tide. One of the many reasons they’re endangered.
