  • Lecter sketchy and creepy af!

  • I'm enjoying from Alaska

  • So Ervin, where don't you wana be?

  • You can tell by what he does at the end that he is simply trying to act more insane than he is. I fucking love that. An actor, playing an insane man who tries to put on a show acting more insane than he really is. Amazing acting, the main reason he got an Oscar. Foster did just as good too.

  • For those who have a shape deductive mind. Lector says "that's the scene from the Belvedere Cathedral in Florence". The serial killer Buffalo Bill was located in Belvedere, Ohio.

  • 6.06 when he winks at Clarice...😉

  • THIS JAWN IS A TIMELESS CLASSIC 👍😉

  • Why did he give her a clue?

  • He never blinks

  • เค้าไม่ใช่ฮานีบาร์รับบทได้ดีมาก

  • 1:25 Hi yourself.

  • Lecter waited standing and eager-beaver after that chair was placed outside his cell you betcha.

  • 8:19 I guess she didn't saw it cuming....

  • did miggs throw jizz in her face?

  • 0:26--did I hear this music in Half Life 2? And the orderly's name was Barney. Coincidence?

  • 8:18 and that people is what i call a cumshot

  • i love his reaction at 2:53 - he is kind of insulted but also sees an opportunity. great acting.

  • I'm pretty sure Hannibal Lecter was based off Anthony Hopkins.

  • Scenes like this point up the power of dialogue. This is a page from Old School 🎥. Action and special effects are secondary. Even Quentin Tarantino understands this.

  • Great film and quality acting from Anthony Hopkins and Jodie Foster.

  • This movie has to be the only movie that’s made me feel genuinely frightened or scared there needs to be more movies like this. Not just movies that have jumpscares upon jumpscares

  • I want Barney deep inside me. He'll do fine. Lo!

  • Always liked Barnie

  • Every line, every move, every single thing about this scene was perfect. The only scene I like more than this is when he asks Starling about coveting. But that's only because Lecters tone was so educational and informative. He was holding a damn seminar about the psychology of murder.

  • AWFUL attempt at an American accent-Robert Shaw-Quint in Jaws is regional study awesome

  • That retard tossed a handful of semen at her wtf she should have shot him

  • Unusual that Anthony Hopkins was cast as Hannibal after his genuine role in The Elephant Man.

  • That was a very realistic glob of semen he hit her with.

  • I forgot how brilliant his performance is.

  • The black prisoner yells "Hannibal kill him"

  • She never got any cock either. She is a rug muncher correct

  • That man had Spider-Man nut

  • ...closer...

  • Sissy bitch says she's scared of Anthony Hopkins !!!

  • .

  • Clarice ....Most serial killers keep some sort of trophy from their victims Lector.....I didn't Clarice....no no you are yours. The look he gives si creepy lol

  • I want to see Lector meet Dwight. idk why

    • fritzmaker Lol that would be awesome

  • I worked in the jail infirmary at S.Bay.Boston..Ran into men like this everyday. .

  • I love his voice so much,I can listen to him talk all day. That`s pretty much one of the great things about Hannibal Lector.

  • 3:27 Ah,you`re talking about the guy she walked past.

  • Much like Leon: The Professional,it feels like this film out out at the time I was little when I actually wasn't born then. It`s strange but gives me the feeling.

  • 0:46 Well,we know where the"closer!" part comes in.

  • Hello Clarice, Mandela Effect, blah blah, alternate universes somehow getting intertwined, blah blah, my life is so boring and bland it gives me comfort to believe their are mysterious things happening that make no sense

    • This Mandela thing is stupid! People misremembering things doesn't mean the world has suddenly changed.

    • LOL, bbbbut that means you're not #Woke!

  • “Go now, I don’t think Miggs can manage again quite so soon even though he is crazy, go now!”

  • Thors dad is a cannibalistic psychopath

  • The most electrifying scenes I had seen In a film at the time. Nothing surpasses it.

  • Hannibal Lecter is on screen for 18 minutes total in this movie. Talk about impact by an actor as well as great screen writing.

  • still the best movie around fact..Alot better than the 1 line wannabe trash passed off as movies in this day and age

  • What is her accent?

    • West Virginia, but small town not rural mountain/hillbilly

  • Fun fact : Anthony Hopkins actually improvised the scene when he mocks her southern accent.

  • the film is just morbid and so appeals to morbid people. The worst thing is that it morbidly implies that vicious cold-blooded killers may be sophisticated, extremely intelligent, educated, cultured and admirable. The reality of course is that such people are dysfunctional, sordid and twisted

    • You couldn't be more WRONG. A lot of sociopaths come from upper class and highly educated pedigree.

  • At times Lecter becomes ridiculous rather than scary. 7:44

  • He really was insane.... Every body knows you eat liver with fried onions. Duh.

  • 7:36 - 7:45.... Sir Anthony Hopkins delivered the greatest line in cinema history

  • Migs is trying to be Spider-Man

  • Hopkins pure genius!!

  • Such a Smart but Evil man.

  • 5:04 Who the hell just cracked a can open in there??

  • 6:02 that blink tho

  • The prisoner in the first cell was so nice "HI" with a friendly smile. He should be freed.

  • This movie was amazing! But I have to ask: Are the books any good?

    • I just finished the book. I was surprised by how loyal the movie stayed to the book. Some stuff was cut out, mostly Jack Crawford's story about his wife, but all the most memorable stuff was left in. I'd recommend it.

  • Clarice saved miggs..

  • I still try to imagine the kinds of things Lecter must’ve been whispering to Miggs... for him to have killed himself by swallowing his tongue 👅

  • I like how sly Starling can be - Prior to this she's clearly uncomfortable by Chilton's brazen sexual advances but she's not against flirting her way out of a jam.

  • The Unibomber, Ted Kaczynski is a real life mad genius, much like Lecter, although Ted's specialty was advanced mathematics In fact, Ted's doctoral thesis was so complex, his professors had no idea what it meant, until they showed it to one of the world's leading mathematicians, who declared it the work of a super math genius. And like Lecter, Ted now rots in the foremost supermax prison in the US, surrounded by former terrorists, mafia bosses, and other bombers like Terry Nichols (Oklahoma City bombing), and Eric Rudolph (Atlanta Olympic bombing).

    • who was the leading mathematician and what was so genius about Kaczynski's work?

  • Thrill me with your acumen great film

  • The best aspect of Silence of the Lambs is that Barney didn't die.

  • The scariest trick was Hannibal's story on the census taker, just before he slams the drawer to Starling, he's clearly looking down as she is sitting. Once he begins his speech he is directly looking at the camera (viewer), he doesnt squat, lowers himself or looks down. This man is looking directly into your soul.

  • The way hopkins shouts go now is spine chilling

  • Stefan Molyneux was awesome in this scene.

  • I don't think that Miggs could manage it again quite so soon even though he is crazy GO NOW!

  • Chef Brocket said “fuck”!

  • Movie sucks......Nothing like the shining.....2nd rate at its best....

  • It's really no wonder why they got the right actor for this killer with class🔥👌💲⚡

  • Great movie and great acting my Hopkins and Foster

  • Anthony Hopkins is one of the most brilliant actors in history. Sinister and mesmerizing all at once. 10/10

    • I would like to have seen David Bowie play the part. He would have been great.

    • Gregory Foster no doubt

  • "You fly back to school now little starling....fly fly fly..............fly fly fly......"

  • Ive watched this 20 times and im going to watch it another 20 more times

  • This is just a short confrontation scene but it was a memorable one

  • Great movie

  • Incredible film and amazing acting from the entire cast! Anthony Hopkins could just stare at you without saying a word and you would just be scared shitless!

  • The best way to handle these insane killers is to put them down, like any mad dog.

  • After the Red Dragon You call the death of The Agent not only legendary. When You watch the movies that Lecter never die, The role of Edward Norton is amazing I call it the Fail of the dragon because the only agent who can against Lecter Dies

  • When Hopkins wasn't in this film, it faded

  • Just before he opened the file. The little wink. Then the absolutely spot on tare down. That's what makes this a great sceane

  • One of the all time great movies. Ranks up there with Apocalypse Now and Shawshank Redemption

  • Final match: Dr. Lecter & Patrick Bateman

  • i wanna smell her cunt

  • Odin wanted some of that lesbo's pussy.

  • I can smell your cunt.

  • My compliments Joan, I believe you sadly raised the malaise shock bar, it is today, a modern contempt to exude comfortable with aberrant demise of goodness. Your poetic analysis skill appears to be amply the 'perverse'. Careful, you've sublimally contracted Lecter's clinical movie illness, desperation. But your mistaken, Clarice the script edge heroine did not win by default, as conjectured, pay attention the character prior rejected flight, walked out, endured, won, quite a different proposition. Maybe pull back on the buttered popcorn Joan.

  • Anthony Hopkins never spoke to her before or after this film

  • "Jack Crawford sent a trainee to me?" I like how you can hear the blood lust in his voice at that idea.

  • I hate Jodi Foster. That is all.

  • One of the all time classic lines😷, " I can smell ur C...", 😍😍

  • About as scary has a bunny rabbit!

  • I still gotta read the book

  • IN here he says GOOD MORNING????? :LFKJAMNSKJAAF????!?!??!

  • Just realized they both look directly into the camera and have extremely similar looking eyes.

  • Should have kept to the left, like Barney said.
