  • Little kids be like we’re Andrew luck and we’re Patrick Mahomes I know I’m young but I know my football history

  • I forgot how good Priest Holmes was. He was a beast

  • Peyton Manning had a day against that Chiefs defense. That why he is the 🐐🐐

  • RIP DICK ENBERG, 😔😔😔😔

  • The savant!

  • 10:52 used to be "just part of the game."

  • History 2019 didn’t help the luck of Andrew . Go Chiefs 31-13 win against the Colts

  • Damn 15 years ago??

  • The sins of playoffs past are washed away

  • Who's here after watching the chiefs and maholmes obliterate the Colts

  • If Dante Hall could catch then that game would’ve gone to OT and the Chiefs would’ve had a chance to lose to NE in the AFC Championship

  • Kansas City scored the same amount of points in both playoff games in which they won and lost.

  • NOW 2019 MVP? WHO? MAHOOOOOMES! MAHOMES DOES NOT HAVE To DEFLATE THE BALL TO WIN, HE CAN THROW IT FROZEN!!☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️🌧🌧⛄❄❄⚡⚡🌬🌬🏈🏈🏈

  • The colt curse is over now lol

  • How long has the chiefs secondary been awful for.

  • Colts vs chiefs, a rivalry u wouldn't think of. Either way when they go 1v1. Its gonna be a good game

  • I remember Dante Hall! “The Human Joystick”. I remember KC had a great year this season and I was shocked that they got eliminated so soon that year.

  • Man I miss Priest Holmes. This was definitely one of the funnest games of the last 20 years.

  • the day the sheriff was born in this game

  • The Priest was running so fast as if his Holmes were on fire.

  • Am not a fan of either team but despite the chiefs being the 1 seed in the postseason, i still see them as underdogs with the fact the colts are like 4-0 against the chiefs in the playoffs and with the fact the chiefs haven’t won a home playoff game since 1993

  • People think that the Chiefs defense sucks now, man this defense was collectively a gigantic piece of shit...

  • RIP Dick Enberg! 🙏

  • Does anyone know who the chiefs quarterback is

  • This could be a how the game this weekend goes

  • This just gets me hyped even more for tomorrow's game. Should be fantastic.

  • Priest Holmes... what a beast.

  • The Chiefs have had their TE position locked down for quite some time this century

  • Peyton Manning owns Kansas City

  • It’ll happen again this Sunday!

  • Dante Hall will always be one of the best return men

  • 11:49 Good quote for Manning

  • 2003, Peyton Manning's first MVP season. He got his first two career playoff victories. He threw for 8 touchdowns and 0 picks in those two games. I remember thinking that Peyton is playing too well to lose to New England next week. Instead, He's completely neutralized throwing for 235 yards 1 touchdown and 4 picks. Just goes to show you how difficult that dynasty was to beat in those days

  • that pi call on Gonzales was bullshit

  • I'm a Vikings fan. And we played this Chiefs team week 16 and demolished them. I think the Vikings exposed them that week from what I remeber. The Chiefs were special that season.

  • That chiefs offense line was crazy and let’s not forget they had one of the best blocking full backs in NFL history

  • That boy Dante hall tho. And manning torched that secondary omg

  • I remember this game I don't think neither team punted. On a side note I do hope Kansas City beat the Colts because I do think the Chiefs have a real chance to beat the Patriots in Kansas City. I have a funny feeling that the Patriots will beat the Chargers and if the Colts somehow beat Kansas City then you might as well just pencil in the Patriots in the Super Bowl because the Colts don't have a chance in of beating New England in AFC title game in New England. Personally I don't want to see the Patriots in the Super Bowl, I rather the Patriots take their ass on the road in the playoffs for change.

  • "How good is the colts good" LMAO

  • This era of football was great!!!

  • A bunch of fans mentioned it in a previous 03 Playoff Game video, but man... 2003 was easily the most wild NFL Playoffs ever. Panthers/Rams, Panthers/Patriots, Packers/Eagles, Packers/Seahawks, Chiefs/Colts, etc. That's at least Five classic games that occurred in a single month of football.

  • Look at that Lazer, rocket arm...then compare it to the Broncos Manning. Amazing that he still put up the seasons he did with Denver.

  • Classic man im a big chiefs fan.

  • The following week manning would shit his pants against ty law and the patriots. Good times

  • I just love watching these old games before Roger Godell and ESPN ruined the NFL.

  • I guess when it comes to teams that haven’t play in post season for a while and get a bye always fall short

  • Anyone else get annoyed how when the commercials pop up it takes you back to the top of the screen losing your place in the thread?

  • "how good is the colt's good"... what lol?

  • Holy shit Dante Hall was fast

  • And then the colts went to new england and got smacked

    • Samuel Unlucky Miller It just feels like if the Colts would of had any defense Manning would of had 4 rings

    • Well Peyton got revenge and the last laugh whooped the cheaters asses in 3 straight AFC title games in route to 2 super bowl wins kiddo

  • RIP Dick Enberg... GOAT Football and Tennis Announcer!!

  • Repeat ? Only the Colts Defense will stop the Chiefs and Luck will have a field day vs the secondary? Maybe

  • The key play, imo, was the offensive pass interference call against Tony Gonzalez at the Colt’s two yard line. Terrible call. Took 7 off the board, the difference in the final score.

  • I got the chiefs winning.

  • Then the next week Peyton couldn't do shit against a real defense. 3 int's thrown to Ty Law.

  • This was a great game, but I was expecting you guys to post the Lin Elliott game (1996 Div Playoffs)

  • Do eagles vs saints 2013

  • Very similar to the previous game posted, 2006 Pats-Chargers. Both divisionals. Both home teams were coached by two of the greatest. Both had the best record. Both had home games. Both had the leading rusher at their disposal. Both faced former DC’s. Both faced two HOF QB’s. Both had their teams make crucial mistakes. Wow.

    • @Joseph Blow Making this even more glaring, they said in the broadcast booth that the winner of this game would visit New England, key word being VISIT.

    • Joseph Blow My bad.

    • Karl Johansson - “both had the best record”. Did you mean to say better record? New England was 14-2 and the #1 seed in 2003.

  • God Manning, was a pleasure seeing you play. Thanks.

  • The only playoff game in NFL history where neither team attempted a single punt. There was one in 1992 between the Bills and 49ers also. Dick Enberg called that one for NBC

    • @Connor Mccann Not a playoff game.

    • Ahhhhh, terrible research......

    • I thought I did but just in case-the 1992 Bills/49ers game was a regular season contest.

    • True you should make it clear that the 1992 one was not a playoff game though

    • Saints packers in 2014 didn’t have a punt either in it I think too

  • Why do I see history respecting itself in this weekends divisional? Just have this feeling.

  • Man Dick Enberg was a fantastic announcer. Makes me nostalgic. RIP Dick

  • This hurt me bad as a Chiefs fan.

  • Dante hall was a Beast

  • Can y’all post the AFC title game where Rivers played with a torn ACL

    • Lenard Williams LT also had a torn ACL. But a running back can’t play with it. To his credit he tried. It’s impossible to play on a torn acl

    • @__la piscina de la muerta__ Yup. That was the game which L.T. played 1 play and sat the rest of the game.

    • If i remember correctly. Wasnt it the afc championship against the Patriots?

  • I remember this game as a kid, easily one of the best I’ve ever seen. I was so disappointed that the Chiefs lost, I wanted the Pats to play them. The fact that Priest Holmes didn’t win MVP over Peyton Manning or Steve McNair was borderline criminal.

  • IF THE COLTS WIN ON SATURDAY THEN THEY HAVE A CHANCE OF MAKING THE SUPERBOWL.

    • But they would most likely have to go to Foxborough... you better hope & pray Rivers plays out of his mind & beats those boys.

  • Arrowhead reminds me of Neyland Stadium when it gets roaring

  • For the Chiefs to only lose by a score is amazing for all HOF players on that Colts team

  • They HAVE to beat the colts this time. I cant stomach a 5th playoff loss

    • @Spring Heeled Jack What about Tums For when they win

    • Aidan Boyle better get some pepto then.

  • Now this game will probably be in snow

  • Andrew Luck and The Colts can Repeat this historical win all they gotta do is play efficiently on defense force Mahomes to make a few bad throws and they’re good!

    • Ken Griffin I hope you’re sitting down...that didn’t happen lol

  • You guys need a computer for 4k encodes?

  • I think KC had a 15 year stretch, or something like that, where they didn't lose a home regular season game after October. Yet they haven't won a playoff game at home since '93.

    • It's been so long since a home playoff win for the Chiefs, the playing surface of Arrowhead Stadium in that win was Astroturf! I totally forgot that they used to play on that, lol!

    • It was actually December. Chiefs lost 1 home game after November from 1991-2005

    • Hard to believe Montana was responsible for that last home playoff win. Wonder if that curse finally ends?

  • Another example of why Edge should and deserves to be in the Hall Of Fame. Absolutely idiotic that he is not in! C’mon NFL

    • Maltesimus, Frater de Massimo - if you say so....

    • @Mark Grayson Stupid comparison. James started in the NFL in 1999, Smith in 1990. Smith was FAR older when he joined the Cardinals than James was when he did so. Besides, in his second year in Arizona (his 15th in the NFL) Smith got 9 TDs and over 900 yards. At the age of 35, that is impressive. His only bad season was 2003 in ARI, although he only played in 10 games starting 5 of them. So he wasnt even playing a full season. Thats like taking James' 2008 season in ARI with 500 yards having played in 13 games (7 starts).

    • I hate Edge, but yeah he should be in. And the reason for the hate? If he did t run all over UCLA in 1998 my Arizona Wildcats would have played in the Rose Bowl. They probably would have kept Ron Dayne to a bit less than 246. Hehe

    • jpowers55 - depends on your definition of ‘sucks’. His first year in Arizona in 2006 he had 1,156 rushing yards. HOF Emmitt Smith’s first year in Arizona in 2003, he had a whopping 256 rushing yards in 10 games. Edge’s second year in 2007 he gained 1,222 yards while HOF Emmitt had 937 yards in 2004. Emmitt scored a total of 11 rushing TD in 2 years while Edge had 16 rushing TD in 3 years. Edge rushed for 2,895 total yards in 3 years for an avg of 965 yards per year while HOF Emmitt had 1,193 total yards for 596 yearly avg. You do the math. I’m not even mentioning the fact that Edge had 74 receptions while HOF Emmitt had only 29 receptions. Numbers don’t lie. If your reasoning is that Edge doesn’t deserve to be a HOF because he ‘sucked’ for his 2nd team, Arizona - then Emmitt Smith should have never been elected in. GO COLTS!!! 1-0

    • @jpowers55 Running backs don't age well. His production is Arizona, while lower, can easily be explained as the natural dropoff many RBs face at a similar age/amount of carries

  • so many missed opportunities. Priest Holmes fumble. Dropped interception. Dropped easy first down in the red zone. wow

  • "If the helmets collide it's just part of the game" 2003 what a time to be alive.

  • Damn, did Peyton always look 40?

    • Not at Tennessee or in the late 90s with the colts but pretty much since like 2000 he has looked old

    • Yes but only after college

  • Peyton Manning Trent Green Marvin Harrison Tony Gonzalez Edgerrin James Priest Holmes Reggie Wayne Dante Hall My God.

  • Thanks for triggering my ptsd

  • How were you supposed to beat manning, james, harrison, and wayne? That was a deadly combo for so long

    • @Spring Heeled Jack Yep & an amazing defense. The Patriots beat them in back-to-back playoff games in 2003 & 2004.

    • TheMilkyNipple Having a running game and decent enough defense to keep Manning on the sideline was the only way. Manning always got beat by teams controlling the clock and running.

    • No one in the league could stop them, only way to beat them was to win a shootout. Similar to the current Chiefs team

  • Miss Dick Enberg

  • Just trying to put the chiefs and chargers Down before their big game just watch as they both face off in the afc championship

  • Indianapolis Colts was member AFC East Division from 1970 through 1993 and Kansas City Chiefs was member AFC West Division from 1970 through 1993 era

    • What?????? Emerger happened in '02. Colts were in the AFCE up until '01 like Seattle for the AFCW,Cards of the NFCE. You gotta think. There were only 3 divisions per conference. I believe it was AFC/NFC Central,East and West. Tampa Bay was also in the NFC Central aka NFCN kinda like the Houston Oilers in the AFC Central aka AFCN. Oilers and Pitt were bitter rivals back in the day before Houston moving to Tennessee. Houston Texans ruined the NFL. Lolol!!!!

  • Anyone find it funny chiefs and colts r playing and pats and chargers playing each other this week when they played before in playoffs to go to championship game

  • Damn I thought u was going post 2013 Wild Card match but this is classic as Well. Appreciate the time effort you put into these Videos

  • I remember watching this game and for whatever reason I was rooting for the Chiefs. But they just could not stop Peyton Manning. It was frustrating to watch. Though the Colts D was not much better, the Colts were overall just a better team.

  • Giants fan here..i loved this chiefs team..when people talk about all time greats at rb holms is never brought up..his career was short but man he is one of the best

  • Chiefs were just as overrated than compared to today. Colts will win.

    • How'd that work for you?

  • Since 1998, the Colts are 10-3 vs the Chiefs. The Chiefs have only won 1 game in KC against the Colts in that span(1-7)

  • First seconds of the video: "The winner will go to New England". How many times have we heard that before?

  • So many flags woulda been threw if this game was in the modern era 💯💯#Ohhhowtimeshavechanged

    • Did you see that late hit by Brackett on Trent Green. The refs just looked at each other and went about their day. That's crazy

  • RIP Dick Enberg

  • One of the best offensive performances put on by Peyton Manning. This was prime Peyton.

  • There is a reason I don’t remember any of the Chiefs on defense from this team. Man, were they awful. At least the Chiefs of this 2018/19 team have a solid pass rush.

    • TheLocalLt I was being a bit sarcastic. Although I don’t remember a lot of these guys, I do remember Fujita and Greg Wesley

    • You’ve heard of Scott Fujita

    • STARKILLER That Chiefs team had barely 35 sacks all year. The current Chiefs team got 36 sacks before Thanksgiving

  • KC started the year 8-0 or 9-0. Then they ended up 13-3. If they had their hot streak at the end of the season instead of the beginning, maybe they could have won the bowl.

    • @coyote 1019 my comment is more speculation than any sort of science. Here is the ugly reality of the NFL: teams who often win the super bowl do it partially because they are able to avoid injuries (luck) and get on hot streaks at the right time (some luck). Look at the 2005 Steelers, the 2007 Giants (and I think the 2011 Giants also can be included), the 2010 Packers, and the 2012 Ravens. These were mainly wild card teams and 10-6 or 11-5 clubs; they were good but not dominant if you look at their records. But those teams got hot at the right time. They were all, in my opinion, clearly not the best teams in the league those years, but having won the super bowl, they all got hot and got on winning streaks at the right times, often having to play for their playoff lives before the playoffs even began. Is it simplistic? Sort of. But I still think there is a lot of truth to it.

    • The only reason they didn’t get the 1 seed was New England’s insanely good luck in close games. Could have easily been an 11-5 team instead of 14-2

    • I won quite a bit of money on the Chiefs in the 2003 season.

    • That's kind of a hot take but whatever...still had a winning record over the span of the last couple of games after starting undefeated but whatever

  • The first and only puntless playoff game.

  • Kc got screwed

    • No..they didnt get screwed..they got beat..thats all

    • What?

  • Dick Enberg called two punt-less games. This one, and the 1992 Bills-49ers game.

  • I vaguely remember this game, as I was young. At the time I did not realize that it would be the last time the Chiefs would be the 1 Seed in 15 years.

    • @SinCity Sinner sad thing is you can argue that neither of them should've won and that Priest Holmes was the real MVP that year.

    • SinCity Sinner It was 2003

    • Was that the year when Manning and McNair were Co-MVP's? I can't remember if it was the 2003 season, but there was a season where they were Co MVP's, which is kind of stupid imo.

    • @Chris Kreager yeah McNair was great that year as well, they almost beat the Patriots. Bottom line, without a defense no way KC wins a Super Bowl. Likely repeat of that this year.

    • jasonfire34 If they were the 1 seed, they’d have drawn the Titans instead of Indy. Who knows how McNair would have done in Arrowhead?
