Is this the greatest boxing trilogy of all time?
@- l
@- no... 2 tyson 1 pareggio... Un incontro memorabile fra i piu belli di sempre
@Björn Sundberg Those are all great matches and rivalries Holyfield vs Bowe was a good one, Ruddock vs Tyson matches were both fight of the year victories for Mike, Gatti vs Ward, Pacquiao vs Morales fights were great...there's a bunch out there. Gerald McClellan vs Julian Jackson 2 times..etc...etc..
I cannot think of any trilogy ever happened in the heavyweight apart from this and the Patterson vs Johansson fights, when in all 3 bouts the championship belts were on the line. Marciano and Ezzard Charles fought twice. Walcot had two fights with Ezzard Charles. Frazier and Ali had two fights (or possibly 3). Schmeling had two fights against Joe Louis. Jack Dempsey had two with Gene Tunney. So we are left with. Fury/Wilder, Patterson/Johansson and Ali/Frazier.
No this is not the greatest trilogy of all time, Bowe vs Holyfeild and Ali vs Frazier for heavyweights but all time im going with Gatti vs Ward
Just one punch from either of these guys would send most people into another dimension. Big respect to both of these men.
It really would knock you back a few days
I think 100%. Wilder took a dive
Un vikingo
When they hit you hard you just say this to them..."you ain't so bad, you ain't so bad"...use Rocky strategy
Great matches for both respect, but for me Holyfield vs. Bowl
You have to admire both of these men for their ability to come back from a knockdown and then knock the other one down. Amazing fight
@lokz and he would still knock u out😂😂
Fury has the body of gru from minions lmao
Agree
I feel like this fight actually saved Wilder’s career and allowed him to carry on. He got so beaten down in the second fight but here although he lost again he was dangerous and showed pure heart and grit.
@RatatRatR and did you realize his last fight was a Tyson Fury lookalike? Anyone else find that amusing? Dude was a bum though. Wilder trying to get his confidence back lol
@MIXDAMIX Mike Tyson said he's a Christian??
@Rocks Cousteau give any real reason why you think he would have taken a dive?
I think he took a dive. I think this fight was fixed.
Anyone notice that this bum Wilder just fought Robert Helenius, looked just like Fury?! He couldn't beat the real thing, so he got a lookalike lol
I don’t understand how they just kept going??? They both looked one second from going down for like half the fight but just kept moving forward. This was an amazing fight
@reganator5000 I am both afraid - and glad that the referree didnt stop the fight even with all the apparent close calls that can lead to a TKO. This way, Wilder is able to show to everyone that he is made of bronze in body and have the heart of a lion inside too.
@Erick Alexander And for Wilder saying that he didn't want to go out on a TKO, no matter how bad he got beat. You've got to hand it to him, he really did stick in there until he actually couldn't continue, rather than shouldn't have
They have hearts of LIONS 🦁. Also, their endurance training is probably INSANE..
Heart of warriors
@Semesa Brown honestly wilder looked down and out by round 7. The ref kept It going for our enjoyment.
8:31 that punch would have put anyone else to sleep. In the state Wilder was in, you'd think that would have broken the camel's back. But he goes to a knee and steps right back in. These two are the epitome of 'an unstoppable force and an immovable object'. 10:18 was literally a guaranteed knockout but, while it ended the match, Wilder got back up by the time the cameras returned. What an absolute monster these two men are. Total respect to Fury for being the judge, jury, and executioner all throughout. He mostly went down by his own imbalances. Him and Wilder are made to stand in the ring.
@Speaker 🗣️ absolutely. And he wouldnt be the first fighter that drops off after a bad concussion. But for the sake of the sport I can totally understand why you'd keep a championship matchup going if he still wants to fight
Getting full power punches from a man that weighs 280 lbs 🤕 it’s amazing that Wilder didn’t come out completely brain dead after that third knockdown
@StiboAgreed. This is not a healthy sport.
Wilder was looking like he was almost in trance after that 8:30 hit. I was actually worried for his brain after they continued.
@Money Tttt No doubt.
5:43 crazy how you can clearly see the force of the punch travel through Fury's entire body
I’m not as big as him, that punch had enough force to travel down and all the way back up on me 😂 heck of a fight!
I always look at that. Insanity.. wilder has unbelievable power and fury is unbelievably tough
Shock absorption 🤣
@Xeno here you can see it from another angle @ 6:00
Comment has 543 likes as well
How could Wilder endure that during 11 rounds??! These men are incredible
You all call these boxing fights? These were reminiscent of the infancy of boxing when what was on display were slug matches. Do you see dancing here? Do you see going for angles here? Do you see microsecond evasion of punches here? Do you see counterpunching here? Do you see the jab sticking out both as at5ack and defense here? Do you see 5rategically moving in and out here? YES, MY FRIEBDS, THE ANSWER TO ALL THESE QUESTIONS IS AN EMPHATIC 'NO.' These two are nowhere near the legendary greats in boxing. Just two men hammering away at each other until one collapses. Sadly, I don't think that some of you have ever seen the classic and epic fights of the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, and early 1080s. If you did, you will realise what a pathetic show that both Fury and Wilder put up in these three fights. Yes, pathetic slugging between two huge men, one reminding me on just a chunk of meat with a silly face.
Wilder had to go distance for the purse paycheck motivated him, he was outclassed in 3 rounds
@Khotun Khan what
@Fadil -79 mmm like that trilogy in Manila
That last burst of energy from Wilder at the end of the 10th was impressive
Yea. Just did not have the intelligence to close the deal.
Not really 😂😂😂
Fury looked like he could go 10 more rounds while Wilder looked like he's done for a year
@lagondo Fury is stronger, Wilder hits harder but Fury may be able to hit that hard if he was also stupid enough to load up on every punch and then not be able to breath after 3 or 4 rounds like Wilder.
@Lord But his skills improved drastically in this fight. So even though hes not that young he might actually have a chance to improve...
@lagondo wilder is just stronger, that's his ONLY advantage....no skills at all compared to fury
@lagondo and fury oviousl_ was more durable
Wilder has too much heart for his own good. I'm glad he was ok after this. Amazing fight.
@Marquez Sly So you're saying he needs the proper training to bring what he didn't bring the first 3 times then do a 4th and it will happen then huh?
@FreeBeats4All Well, for all his efforts, the great black hope at the least survived.
Wilder is a true warrior. He came in a bit heavy that affected his strength however he still brought War to Fury
Gonna be braindead after a few more of these
Let’s take a min to appreciate these two absolute warriors going toe to toe and putting it all out there
@Sportsflixx Do i need to be to have an opinion? They may be "tough" as boxers, but throw either one of them in to a cage with a below average MMA fighter and it'd be over for them in minutes, or even seconds for Wilder. Comparing two silly boxers who fight for 10's of millions per fight in a safe little ring with a ref, to warriors who fought to the death for nothing is ridiculous and based on child like thinking.
@MUTRONICSlmao I’m sure you’re as tough as they are
Warriors brutaly fight to the death. Neither of these silly men are warriors.
Amazing how these GIANTS can last 11 tounds of abuse.. This was incredible.. Not everyone can handle punches from either guy.. Great fight. I just wish both fighters tightened up their defense more because their punches are brutal!
@largol33t1yea, that's exactly what it was. true gladiators of modern time
That's too much for their bodies to take. This is just dangerous. Match should have ended at 10 rounds. Look at how BOTH men were hobbling around, they were too exhausted to keep going. It felt like whoever was still standing had a slightly better chance of winning overall...
I agree. Sends shivers down my spine when the slow mo footage is shown.
One of the greatest matches of all boxing history. And referee was also amazing for allowing both legendary fighters to stand for themselves until the end.
@CAM Casual.
@M C For real.
I don’t know about that. Of course I grew up in the era of Ali versus Frazier and other trilogies such as Pazienza Vs Haugam and other lesser known trilogies. This is a good one though
@King Jwilder count was the same
@M C they were legendary fights
the amount of resilience these dudes have is astonishing. they just beat the brakes off of each other for like 30 minutes straight and almost went 12 for 12.
I was on the edge of seat after watching these highlights a year on. One of the best HW fights in a long time. Respect to these guys, shows how much conditioning they do to make a fight.
So much heart. Both knocked each other down. Both got back up. Both went the distance. Incredible.
@mhead1 1 i don't think so either
I don't think you know what going the distance means...
Wilder did not go the distance
That right hand though... That punch literally knocked Wilder into another universe!
Still the best fight I’ve ever been to in my life(23) they both were so awesome
Nothing illustrates how powerful these men are than seeing the shockwaves from punches on Fury's body. True warriors.
WB Stop lying.. fury does not get dropped like this in "every fight". These men took damage over here, but fury's stamina and defense paid off.
@Paulo Guardado i is not speak foreign language sorry kikikiki
@igor putin what? Can you translate that please?
Do they have "Double Shock Power?" LOL! Love it.
mr fury was fight mans who was become boxer 23 year but he was beat mr fury in fist fight and they was cheat kikikiki
this has to be the equivalent of Ali vs Foreman for this era. these guys are absolute legends in their own right.
Yeah give it 30 years people will talk about it similarly
The best trilogy this generation will ever see. Two absolute warriors.
Bro this was just a great fight especially watching it live you couldn’t tell who was gonna until the end !!!! 2 great fighters wish we had more like this !
The greatest heavyweight fight of this generation 🥊 2 warriors big heart 🙏🏽❤️
So glad I got to see this in person. Such heart from both warriors that night. Respect.
I still to this day can't believe how quickly Fury was able to recover from Wilder's right hand, not just in this fight but the other two as well. He'd go down, then get up and then start fighting like nothing ever happened the next round. Just insane.
Wilder signing DAZN? More PBC contracts revealed by Boxing King Media channel in Ingle interview…Finkel the mole? Wilder signing with DAZN?!
@M Mr his eyes are completely open. He ain't kod
@Matt Dioneff often Fury moves INTO punches because he has a habit of lunging forward with his head down directly in the path of Wilder's right hand .Nearly all the kds Wilder scored in two of their three fights will show it
@mike carson Not the 1st but the 2nd knockdown you can clearly tell Fury decided to deliberately go down because his equilibrium was still f*cked. It’s not fandom it’s just what happened. Rather than get hit by the same punch or something harder and get KO’d just go down and take as much time as you need especially considering it was already near the end of the round.
@John Doe Cool nobody made you watch. Go some where else and cry about it boomer.
These gentlemen hit so hard I felt it. Amazing fight.
That fact that this went to 10 rounds was insane.
Watching these highlights will never get old. The best heavyweight fight of this generation and top five heavyweight fight of all time!
Might be not the greatest trilogy in heavyweight history but definitely the greatest trilogy in 21st century so far
Unbelievable the shots these guys took and kept fighting. I got respect for anyone who has the guts to take that kind of punishment.
Regardless of who you like, you can't deny that these two were meant for each other. 6'7, Deontay Wilder. 6'9, Tyson Fury. Just their names alone sound like an amazing matchup. As boxing fans, we truly were lucky to have these two share the ring/promotion 3 times. Two giants, both with vibrant personalities, both who truly believe they were the best in the world. It really doesn't get any better than that. They really put on for the heavyweight division, and it'll take some time before we ever get to see such an intriguing matchup again in that division. Big thank you to both Wilder and Fury. It really was a fun ride.
@Bee Walk34 I mean, we'll never know will we but that's the beauty of it. You get to make hypothetical arguments about subjective 'facts' while ignoring the obvious, substantial and measurable advantages athletes of today have. Comparing guys that were 200-220lbs and 6 ft to 6.7 and 6.9 guys is just impossible. They're super heavy weights. For that reason alone, Fury would outlast and wear down 90% of them, easy.
6'7 and 6'9 wooah
@Caprae by picking opponents like you, i'd rack up easy wins
@Rob Johnson Then please get a boxing license, become WBC World Champion, and go 40-0. Please, i'd root for you.
@Caprae Sure you can....you just pick your fights....it's been the biggest problem in boxing aside from Adalaide Byrd's judging....
Two warriors I still get chills from this whole trilogy
watching this in the dorm with my roomates was one of the best experiences ever.. both are legends but fury one of the best ever
They both went stronger than they’ve ever been into the ring when they faced each other the third time. They were both in their peak in mental and physical state.
Kudos to both men!! Absolute stunner of a fight! Much respect to wilder and fury.
One of the best fights I’ve ever seen. This was like something out of a Rocky movie!
The fact that both fury and wilder walked away from this fight on their own two legs is insane to me
Fury actually had no trouble.
Tyson even managed to sing a little ditty.
@sidefx996 haha bro his name's fatal X claw.....what did you expect for god's sake 🤣🤣
Who else's legs are they supposed to walk away on?
This fight looked like it could have ended at any round. Amazing
This was the greatest boxing match I’ve witnessed live in my life time so far.
This was a GREAT fight. If you're a true boxing fan you were at the edge of your seat the whole time. Wilder and FUry are real ones for doing this 3 times. Lions!
I've watched now like a hundred times..... It's the best fight I've witnessed in my generation for sure
Just watched the 3 fights again, even better than I thought. Incredible trilogy. These 2 still beat anyone in the heavyweight division for me.
Ruiz can beat Wilder. Fury, no.
Man, Fury's recovery after the 4th is something to admire. Many other boxers would go down and out after being hit like that by Wilder.
Le contaron hasta 15 en ambas caídas, ya si no
@David no. He took a solid right to the top of his left eye. It just took a moment for it to affect him. He’s probably got a thick skull lol not probably of course he does. Look how he can take some of those hits. Insane
Wilder missed alot after if those othr shot lended fury wouldve been in trouble
The guy slipped ,he used it to rest It wasn't really any smash U see how real smash disoriented wilder throughout hah
@David This is cap, when u get punched ur legs go, it looks like a slip because his legs were on the verge of collapsing. He wouldnt be able to take another one like that without falling
Fury taking WIlder signature punches is amazing. His willingness to get back up is fantastic.
Such an amazing trilogy. I started to worry about fury after the 4th but the man made adjustments
I wasn't, Fury handled that intelligently. Watch closely how he did it and you'll see.
I’m glad to witness all this at 20 years old forever legendary Tyson really got the dog in him 🌪🔥
When the fight is this good I feel like even if one of the boxer loses he should still feel proud cause he did so good
I had $$ on wilder and the emotions I went through during this fight was wild. Every time I thought it was over the other guy came back so hard. Wilders burst at the end of 10 was mind blowing
Not sure why you put money on wilder after he got exposed on the 1st fight and destroyed in the 2nd😂😂😂
Let us all take a moment and appreciate the referee's spotless performance. Extremely attentive and smooth, always making sure the boxers were fit enough to continue, and even in place to soften Wilder's final downfall. Perhaps many of you think this is standard refereeing, and perhaps you're right, but through the history of boxing there have been some horrific displays from the man in charge of the ring.
Wilder leaving PBC? More PBC contracts revealed by Boxing King Media channel in Ingle interview…Finkel the mole? Wilder signing with DAZN?!
I actually hate how he refs he did good with this fight except the slow count when wilder knocked fury down none to less he did good this fight was a war and both fighters are warriors
Well said Leo. I like seeing people that are fully aware of exactly and all that's going on inside the squared circle. Good catch. Good call!!
@Brumsly Brumbino What do u mean? Is it about colour w u? It's a fight fella.
You’ve got to respect what they do 100% for both of them
One of the best matches I’ve seen. And Tyson looks out of shape 😂
Just a great fight, and respect to both.
Beautiful match... respect for these boxer 💪🏻
I keep coming back to this fight it’s just too good both showed their abilities
Haters can hate on either of these fighters but they both showed the souls of warriors and gave us one of the best heavyweight fights in recent times
Ha ha. Wilder wouldn't beat Fury if he fought him 100 times.
Both are legends. Wilder beats everyone but Fury. And to be honest he might beat Fury if they fight again.
Everyone arguing sucks. Tyson won. Wilder is a good fighter but tyson is great
All true
@Rob Johnson that's not an excuse you use when you and your opponent risk your life for a living.
God those were some of the most brutal punches I've ever seen, these 2 are tough lada
Yea fury's head movement and just fundamental skill is why he has one now 3 fights against Wilder!! And his punching power is crazy throughout the entire fight. Fury has the ability to keep his stamina and power up even after taking big shots from Wilder!!! What a fight!!! Hat off to both these men!!!
You can see Fury setting the pace throughout the entire fight.
One of the greatest fights I've seen 👏🏻
Tyson has faster hands than I would have thought and moves good for a big man but his reach combined with deceptive speed and good power and footwork is a potent combination. He was at least a notch above Wilder in the speed department it seemed and just a better ring strategist/tactician.
This is my favorite trilogy of the modern era. People forget, even though he isn’t skillful, Wilder was sleeping everyone. Everyone! One and three are both epic. Two is just a twisted, ridiculous beat down. Fury getting up in the first fight. Wilder taking a third fight knowing how bad it would be. I’ve watched all three fights several times. We are blessed to have been given Tyson Fury. Incredible story.
@Lil Buddy Motorsports you talk about Wilder like you can take him lol. He would knock u tf out with his “awkward” style
Yea, 2 Fury cheated by hitting with his palms.
@Martin Weatherill haha. He don’t need no boot licking from me. I’ve been watching boxing before you were born son.
this is going to be controversial but I think this is better than Joe Frazier vs Ali trilogy. I know that sacrilage but you must admit they are comparable
What a battle I wish I seen this live some of those hits were scary. And to get back up wanting more absolute warriors
One of the best Heavyweight Title Fights in the last 30 years
Wilder took a lot of punishment in those last 3 rounds was kinda sad to see but that's the nature of the sport. Credit to both of these warriors this was an amazing fight, one of the very best.
What a fight 🤩💯👏🏼
This fight was so great. So intense.
The funniest part about this whole thing is, he picked Tyson at his lowest point in life, but what he didn't realize was is that he woke up Fury to get his life back on track and the rest is history....and I loved it.
Wilder call them all out and lost everything 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Funniest part where those 15+ second counts the ref was giving lol
@Sai Oops you got the wrong one. I put my money on Fury 🤣.
wasn't that for the 2nd fight though?? I remember Fury became suicidal after the first fight because he achieved everything..got back on 2nd..
I think they are overall close to each other, but fury has an unbelievable amount of stamina which makes the real difference.
Round 4 is extremely meaningful:Sometimes when hurt, it s really better to put a knee down instead of keep standing up and keep going on taking Heavy shots that may turn your lights off definitely Great intelligence by Fury
All three of their fights were Amazing!!🥳
Both are warriors. Hats off.
Best fight ever man. Like a movie. Will never forget it
two monsters fighting both on their prime, truly a legendary fight
@Amun Ra Ok nostalgic grandpa. Most of the guys you listed would get destroyed.
@MrSPIDEY21 they are currently, 33 and 36.....to think that is pushing 40, you must be 16....
@Amun Ra Oh look another nostalgic grandpa. Trevor Berbick? Seriously? Witherspoon? Delusions.
@Aymane Elhaj it actually does, prime is a combo of your youth, agility and strength so your age is an integral part of it. Mind you, your peak may not be at your prime, some people get to their peak post prime
I swear I was watching a Rocky fight. Unreal. Respect to two unbelievably formidable men.
The Fury And Wilder Fights Were Just Too Good !
that duck and then the right at 8:30 was incredible.
5:42 Look at that punch shockwave across Fury's body, holy ...
5:43 oh myyy goodness that shockwave moving down fury’s whole body
I’ve watched these highlights maybe 10 times and every time I’m just shocked by the determination and toughness of these two men. Truly a battle of wills and Fury just proved you have to put him 6 feet deep to beat him. If he is conscious he will get back up and put it to you. Best heavyweight fight in a decade in my opinion and It was aided by Fury’s change in style and looking a little sloppy compared to normal.
@Chris why did you ask that ? Do you not know who usyk is? Do you not know his background? Man stop playing .
@Mic-E J How?
@Common sense 🤡
@Common sense keep taking the meds
@Elder Onofre On Wilder's side yeah, Fury is very technical and put together. Wilder is a big swinger just hoping to hit something
It still baffles me how nimble fury is. Not to mention that he has a stamina for days.
@5:44 you gotta imagine the force of that punch that Tyson Fury took I mean the fact you can see the impact vibrations go from the top of his head to the end of his back Sheshh!
I have such huge respect for wilder for how he fights. Give it his all and this was a fight no one wanted yet it’s one of the all time greats because of both of them. I just wish he was more gracious in defeat, but what a boxer and what a trilogy this ended up being
Not everyone can just shake off a devastating loss to their rival with maturity right away. It may even take years for Wilder to deal with the entire thing in a mature way
This is still one of the best fights I’ve ever watched
Великие бойцы! Их бои пересматриваю ещё и ещё!!!
This 3rd fight was so iconic. These 2 were natural rivals at the top of their game and it showed on this night.
Nothing iconic about this
@DannyBZ9 ap
It's crazy how good wilder's record was before this fight 42-1 out of which 41 were knockouts (Yes, 97% knockout win rate) and only loss was against fury himself
Against bums
Wilders power is crazy, to drop fury like that while walking back, has a lot of heart too, but fury is just too good
I have absolutely no clue how fury can take the sports hardest hitters hardest punch to the head and get back up, I think he is the only man in the world who wouldn’t go to sleep after that
Definitely my favorite fight of all time
those knockdowns ..so good to see..the punches so crispy
This fight made me tear up. Reminds me of the heavyweight golden era. This was legendary boxing
@Lee Williams you’ve never competed in any combat sport.
Did it make your boyfriend cry as well?
We should give Wilder a little more credit. I mean he great in his own right and he sold the fight and he lasted with Fury. A lot more than what the majority could have done
What a beta thing to say
Wow, 11 rounds of full intensity. 5️⃣ ⭐️
I can't believe I got to witness this fight. I was on the edge of my seat the whole effing time!
Tyson Fury is probably the only heavyweight in boxing history that figured out how to play chess in a boxing ring. Hands down the most skillful heavyweight I've ever seen. That jab straight combo that Fury does is just lethal.
I guess you never heard about Muhammad Ali...🙄.
Absolute Legend
5:44 that punch can literally be seen going though Fury’s body 😳
This was a great fight. Both had so much heart and demonstrated why they are among the best heavyweights in decades. I still don't understand how Fury can have such stamina for a guy his size.
@No Name Wilder's boxing is not awful, that's casual talk. What you're seeing Is one of the best technical boxers of all time putting on a show against one of the most athletically gifted of all time, neither has zero of the inverse though. Both are talented in the opposite side. People seem to forget Tyson has over 10 years more boxing experience than fury does, when you miss out on that opportunity to develop your form when you're a 12-year-old and your neuronal connections are a lot easier to lay out. You're missing out on a lot of potential development. That's just a fact
@Byle B lmao tyson fury has the most skinny chopstick legs ever. I think flyweights have bigger legs than him
Yeah fury is like Afghan people. He Crushed the Super power Again n Again..
Wilder is a good heavyweight but not one of the best heavyweights in decades.
He's simply an ubermensch
Bro the shockwaves in fury's body after catching the punches looks crazyyyyyyyyyy🤯
Big fan of Tyson Fury…Love him
