Scara finally finding his place where he isn’t used 🥺 his lore has always been my favorite because of his character’s development. Can’t wait to see his interaction with the rest of the Sumeru gang!

SAMMEEE. I absolutely LOVE all of Sumeru's characters so far. Like genuinely everyone has been designed so greatly and with so much personality. I'm so excited for Nahida and Scara content cause honestly I've never been so invested in the games lore aside from them.

I am so excited to see how Wanderer interacts with other characters since we only really see him with Nahida. I can imagine Cyno trying to lighten the mood with jokes and Scara either surprisingly enjoying them or getting extremely annoyed and insulting him like he does with everyone else.

Baizhu sounds so freaking fruitty... and I'm all in for it. Also, I don't get why people are so disappointed with his burst animation, I think it fits him so much that it is so pretty.
and his burst is boring as hell. they literally just reused shenhe's animation. for a character people have been waiting for for well over TWO YEARS, they didn't even TRY to make him unique or interesting. his attacks are plain, his gameplay is plain, his kit is plain, his burst is plain. it's BORING. especially when you compare him to the last three catalysts we've gotten - scaramouche (may he die soon), nahida and heizou have all been revolutionary and new. baizhu is... diona 2.0. yippee.
@Eros I'm sorry, but what? Do you even consider embedding the lore to a character's animation style? If you know Baizhu's lore, then you know why they decided to give him a acupuncture attack animation because he's a doctor? And of course giving him the calm and subtle burst animation considering that he's freaking sick? What, you expect him to use Changsheng as a whip slash, or do an exhibition or something? Gurl.

@Eros We've had one character in Genshin whose skill works by attacking enemies to heal, and that's Kaeya. Furthermore, there aren't that many shield and heal characters at C0.
In my opinion this is the best genshin trailer. Baizhu is finally out! Kaveh caught Faruzan's arrow very epic. It's just a pity that Baizhu will have to wait even longer, he will be in the second half of the update
even better because we can still save alot of primos

Honestly seeing a bit more of dark things in the game and Lore the more it goes makes me very happy. Also seeing Wanderer and all the others together makes me happy as well, I really want to see if he makes other friends. Seeing Kaveh with Wanderer and Faruzan plus him and Faruzan apparently helping Kaveh is something I didn't know I needed, if they become friends it's unexpected but I love the idea and I can't wait to see it. My question is more towards the "what did they do to make Cyno attack them?" even if it could be that Cyno isn't actually the one doing that, maybe he's under control of something or maybe it's some kind of game/challenge? Considering the commentary and kinda cheerful music it feels like a friendly race or something but it's also weird to see Cyno attack them if this is supposed to be a friendly race/challenge. Still I love the idea of Wanderer being friend of Faruzan, Kaveh and maybe even Cyno. Considering how "annoying" they can be (from Wanderer point of view) they would definetely work as friends as the 3 chaotic people (two being loud/talking a lot and one full of bad jokes) plus the one guy who kinda hates everything XD Edit: I just noticed Layla to be honest since she wasn't really doing anything (not as in saying that she was being useless, more like they didn't animate her trying to help so I didn't see her until I watched the scene again) and probably she would be the only one he have a neutral or nice voiceline about since she's quiet XD

yeah, it's cool that they're starting to get more into the gritty/dark parts of the story. i've enjoyed the lore from the beginning, but since we've always known there's a lot more darkness than was initially given to us, this is a lot more interesting and it feels like we're finally learning important things since sumeru
@Neero I think they are most likely playing a game because of the funny/cheerful music, Cyno speaking as if he is a broadcaster etc. but at the same time it's weird that he's attacking them if it's just a game since usually there aren't such "violent" games if they made a event, but it's also true they are all adults there so it wouldn't be weird if their way of playing some game is a bit more "aggressive". I still think it's a game for sure but it will be revealed only after it comes out.
@kellzz Yeah, I really enjoy dark stuff and creepy atmosphere and I have to say Genshin does give the eerie atmosphere really well and I love the way they are going deeper in this "rabbit hole", hope they will keep every Quest like this in the future because it definetely feels like Teyvat will go against a bigger and scarier war against Celestia, some kind of "humanity is at risk" kind of war but that's mostly a personal theory that I have not really something implied in the Lore. I just think/theorize that the consequences for stealing all the Gnosis is a end of the world scenario by the hands of the Gods which of course get avoided (or maybe not but it wouldn't be that good either) thanks to the Traveler, but more the siblings that you don't choose at the start will sacrifice themself. In the original version of the game intro the twin you didn't choose died at the start because of the Unknown God and it was a story about revenge, however that was changed. Still it doesn't mean that they will never use it, they might have decided that it's best to keep it for the end of the game since after all they must have to do something to make the sibling stay in Teyvat and at most go into the Celestia but there you can't use your characters (at least I feel like they should do that) aside Traveler or the Archons (even if I doubt they would like to go there) because not everyone can simply walk in Celestia. Sorry, I kinda wrote a bit too much because I started talking about my theories😅
The lore of the game is already really dark, it's just that MHY never focuses them fully (and for good reason, since imagine the "backlash" if idiots knew that Enkanomiya is built upon the sacrifices if children burnt in their sun).

2:20 Little detail I noticed here but Kaveh looks like he's holding his side, wincing from pain. Did he purposefully get attacked in the middle of the Cyno vs Wanderer fight (notice how Wanderer turns to see) just to propel himself even further than he already was with Faruzan's arrow? Well, Mehrak doesn't look happy about that Edit: With the 3rd Act for the Parade of Providence event released, I can say that I was right (kinda)! In the full cutscene, Wand- I meant Hat Guy DID attack/propel Kaveh purposefully away from him however, in a way, he did help Kaveh win
Perhaps Kaveh is not much a runner, that's all 😅

Wanderer being part of the Sumeru gang is going to be very interesting to see, considering he's never gotten any interaction with anyone of them aside from Nahida, so very excited for this new event!

@Farhan im curious because people of sumeru amd everyone knows and clearly mentioned that they tried to create a false god n kept nahida imprisoned. Its just that they dont know who the wanderer is or who was that false god. And fatui doesn't know about their 6th harbinger or any such experiment.

Just wanted to say that name of one of the NPCs in this event is "Bahar" and it means spring (season) since this event will be held this season it's so fitting. Thank you hoyo for making these detailed aspects❤ Also that floating companion's name is "Soroush" (if I'm not wrong). it has several meanings and one of them is "Angelic Messenger"

Eh, I doubt they would actually fight though, more or less like with alhaitham vs cyno cutscene where it’s unknown how strong cyno and alhaitham are, but if wanderer is having a hard time with cyno then it’s safe to say Cyno at least can compare to wanderer in lore scaling but I highly doubt it even with his title as being the general mahamatara, at best wanderer would have low or mid difficulty with cyno at the moment. Guessing low diff from looking on the expression and movements from wanderer defending himself

1:01 1:10 the way I am seeing a pattern here… It looks like for the first phase, Apep seems a bit slower and using some “basic” attacks like what we see here And in second phase, she is more flexible and bright. Whatever happens in the cutscene surely makes sense. Can’t wait to see it after the release
