Que es ?
Damn brother! Looks like youre doing even better here on CS-tv! Awesome!
This brings back memories! This was my first legal job at in 2000 when I was 15 at a school district, had to patch up all the school buses. It was a program for youths called JTPA in Desert Sands unified school district, I would clean the buses, power wash and all sorts of cool things. The school bud drivers were really nice when the would come through they would bring stuff like snacks and drinks. ❤️❤️❤️
You need : 1. Compounds 2. Heat gun 3. Water and sprayer 4. New armrest
This is literally what my company does, the texture comes from the sponge thing he pressed on the compound. You make a mould of the texture from an undamaged area and apply it to the compound. Then you dry it, apply your leather dye/paint and dry that.
Or buy a new console lid for 30$ just saying…
Definitely not a new armrest
lol
Loved the part where he fixed the armrest by installing a new one 😂
@Jordan Kerr if you watch it, he used a textured sponge after painting but before the paint dried to add a faux texture to blend in. It’s not that hard bro. People can do amazing things with leather or vinyl
@Podcast clips okay then, how did the texture magically come back?
amazing
@Eastsideofthetracks no he didn’t look at the stitch line at the top and keep looking at it
Same
I am impressed. It's amazing how good a replacement armrest can look!
Yeah
As good as a new one.
Very smooth jump cut, didn't realize the new armrest at all 👍🏾
@JACK JACKSONHe used a patterned roller
@yeldarb hot glue guns have glue sticks you feed into them, they heat the glue up to become sticky, you glue a circle to a clean area of your desired texture and then once it's dry you unstick it and the part that's been stuck to the area has the texture imprinted into it, you then use that to dip into paint and press it onto areas where a filler has been used. It definitely works, I did several spots on my dash like 5 years ago and it's still mint today, you can't even tell where I made the repairs.
This is real. Look at his other shorts where he shows a half done and half scratched armrest.
@JACK JACKSON you get that pattern with the sponge
Address please
It’s so good it’s almost like he just put on a new arm rest.
Bro does such a good job everyone is convinced without a doubt that it's a new armrest. That's some damn good free marketing.
@Mike Rostomyan lol when?
He said it’s a new one 😂😂
Yeah he did marketing to something that is just unreal lol
At the end he used a jump cut in the video, & replaced the armrest with a New one!
@brody tell your mom to not cheat on your dad no more. Flirting counts as cheating 😂
@Christopher Damian Prieto don't make me repeat myself, son. Now go apologize to your grandmother.
@brody that’s what your mom told the mechanic last time huh?
@Christopher Damian Prieto whatever you say. 👌🤣
Absolutely perfect!!! Amazing job sir.
Wow!! I couldn’t do this. Too much anxiety and responsibility… beautiful work ❤
I loved how he showed how he fixed it step by step rather than cutting into the fixed scene.
Como hacerlo y que le pones porfa en espanish tank you
@Joshua Mack what does that have to do with any of this turning black?
Sarcasm
@David Cabrera well, sometimes it’s better way to understanding each other’s etc. I really don’t know, it it’s. But I’m literally looking about it is.
This sarcasm right?
Had this done on my 2006 vehicle… great work, worth every penny… artistry at finest. Thanks for posting!
so, they replaced yours with a different one when you had it done.
That’s easy
That's awesome. It would be awesome if you listed the products you are using 😃
@Steve Pringle okay then
So that you can turn around and do the same on weekends? If the gypsies won't tell what the red liquid is that is used to clean headlights while your grocery shop, this will remain a secret as well.
Que materiales se necesitan
Just a new armrest
Naw fax tho
You should be very proud Ronnie. Great work and skills !
It's freakin fake, are you out of your mind all of you, check the cuts, over and over again during the video
It's fake
Same
Attention to detail. Nailed it!
That’s a good repair but he should’ve used a lighter color because now it doesn’t match the rest of the upholstery in his car. If you compare the before and after the color is off so his center consul is going to be a little bit darker than his seats. He should’ve done a lighter color. Don’t ever let anyone fool you by telling you that’s a good repair and don’t let anyone charge you for that kind of repair because it’s supposed to match that’s a good repair
Your sick bro that looks brand new brotha great work my friend to bad ya wasn’t near me ahha my car need this type a talent haha
My favorite part was when he filled in the actual white parts. Oh wait, he didn’t even show that part.
Amazing. Most people would just buy a new arm rest cover
He did lol
@Gonzalo Salazareverything there was around $100 total💀
Not always easy to pull the part out and replace the vinyl. I had a repair like this done at a pretty reasonable price in the past
Most people don’t have magic glue and sanding materials or an industrial heat gun though
That is mad impressive. Wow 😮
Awesome!
For all those wondering , yes it’s two different cars.
Look in the backseat by the belt buckle it’s the same car
yes, maybe
@Stan Smith I can tell you that that is not the same armrest my father is a material specialist and if you was o rest your arm on that armrest the tear would appear so that would make a pointless job. replacing it the way he did was much easier. the other way of doing it would've been removing all stitching and padding and then replacing it. now who's the novice L
@Auto_Recon_Ronnie cuz it's not doable like the same level in the video 😂
@Stan Smith or maybe they just changed the armrest after they realised the repair looked awful
I love ur hustle... gotta learn from u my dude... thank you for being u...
Damn! Those are some serious skills!
this guy can actually pull a chicken out of an egg
He had mad skills. And good texturing tools.
It's fake
You'd never know. Excellent work.
Fantastic work well done you certainly know your craft
Now that’s talent!
😂 it's not talent it's editing
@James Janota it shouldn't have been done though
@Christopher Damian Prieto customers have to understand that they can’t get it perfect. They need to be reasonable
@Igxfux wrong
It's fake guys
Nicely done! Good work
Impressive.
This guy is so good at vinyl repair, he can even re-tighten the seams on the armrest.
Different armrest too
Diffrent angle
It would be possible if you could actually sand the repair compound ! At the same time, the fact you can means it will crack as soon as your crack sits on it 😂
Hey man that's cool I need that
They cleaned it so well that the entire camera angle AND the stitches even changed hahahaha
"just try not to rest your elbow there anymore and you're good"
@Michael Hanson it's best not to get into a internet fight when your WRONG. 🤜
@Nunya Businesshow to say you don't know proper english grammar without saying you don't...
@Auto Kingdom Definitely still Applies 😂😂😂
😂
That's absolutely amazing.
Wow. Master of his craft. Nice work!!
This guy is so magnificent he can even change the colour of the stitching in the armrest
Donde se compra gracias
Easy to change sticking color. Sharpie pen. Get some imagination people. This is easily done with polymer clay/ paste, silicone texture sheet, acrylic paints and finishing waxes and varnishes.
Hah😂 lighting shift can make any stitching different color… yah’…. One has to be an artist to understand…
@Living By Love and the fact the armrest has been sprayed
What do you know from 84 likes to 12 YT is stealing likes now
Nicely done
I've been curious. Just about any car I'd want to get (it's probably a Citroën from the 90s, though 406 Pininfarina Coupé is an option as well) would need extensive leather repair. But back 10 years ago when I looked it wasn't possible to find just about anything on the topic or get the actual materials without being part of that particular business.
This guy is FKN serious business. 😎
@Mike G but I haven't seen anybody good & professional as this guy. 😎
@jacqueks yes & all the time. 😎
this is common fucking repair
I wish you were in CT. Not easy finding good car detailer. You are a master at your craft.
What do you call the paste you use to patch the leather?
That was so gratifying to watch!
Ya in America Chinese replacement parts are common enough that we don't do these kinda repairs much. Just replace it
Mayonnaise, hairdryer, handful of sand, hairdryer, Elmer’s glue, dryer lint, sand paper, paint…it’s what I use. After one hundred and fifty times, not once could you see the damage.
this is amazing
That’s amazing
I like the part where they skip steps, jump cut to other shots, and replace the armrest with a completely new one in a different car. That's some Hogwarts magic right there
Ya...I tried it. Not like the one video shown. Not completely look new. Still got scar like. Haha...
@Joey Villarreal it's the surface texture that gives it away. I love it . Experience doing this job is how I know. Good that you stick up for him though.
I'm not a hater and yes in most cases it's like new and you can't tell. However if you've ever done this type of repair you will know flat smooth vinyl is easy but it's the surface texture that is hard to replicate the pattern on the vinyl to be identical. Hence the new armrest. But still deserves credit.
@Karthik Karthik it has everything to do with the grit you work with
@Donovan Morris I think you might want to scroll up and read my last few comments
Very impressive
Pretty cool!
I did this on my leather couch that my cat scratched up. You couldn’t tell anything ever happens to it.
What was the name of the products that you used to make this work?
dude, please post the materials used and the how to
You gave me hope ❤️
Really wow
@N.W. LONDONER Зато теперь есть хороший повод обновить мебель
don't expect that ending. they just swapped out the arm rest
holy shit amazing
Man thats a whole different arm rest in the end shot.
Ight thank you i was like that two different shits
B/c it has been repaired lol. I'd be pretty mad if I took my car in for a simple repair and I got it back looking like the same, jacked up armrest.
Y’all slow
Watch the extended version its the same armrest nothing is replaced only repaired
It changes colour from dark grey to black
Nice !!
Damn. That took a lot of time and effort. New arm rest free in a junk yard lol
I love the bit where it switches from the repaired vinyl to the one with no previous damage...
Huh, I just brought my split armrest to my local auto upholstery shop it was like 90 bucks to replace the cracked vinyl. Good as new
Awesome job
Bought a new armrest at the end. Love it. 😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
He did not buy a new one, there is another video to prove his skills that shows the process better, he did his job well!
@Nick Nick Yea well this 🤡 charged $150 for this repair. Not sure what happens in the States, but dealerships dont TOUCH repairs like this in Canada. Anyone with half a brain knows this repair of this type will last a couple months or so of daily driving. Also a reason why "the finished shot" was VERY short. Because it was replaced. No other reason to not show off your "reapair" and only have it viewable for 0.05 of a second. 😉 pretty obvious.
@Bob Billyagreed! But most dealerships don't want to go through the trouble of finding one. So they pay a company to come in a fix stuff like this so I looks better. Problem is it's rough not smooth like the original. It would drive you up the wall putting your elbow on it. Worked for dealerships for 18 years seen done many time.
Look at his new video proving yall wrong 🤣🤣 How yall look now: 🤡🤡🤡
Perfeito!!! Very Good 😊
Wow so talented!!
"Car is basically brand new mate. Not a mark on her. Don't low ball me I know what I got"
As long as that material soaks into the threads. Hopefully the paint doesn't chip, but it looks good.
Neat.
That’s exactly the guy who will never fail his relationship
@Kriss Öez ahhh
@tasaman Bro, it was a joke
So he replaced the part. Are you saying he will work on relationship till he gets a new girl?
@Off the Radar Yes, that’s true, most of them are like that
I remember the commercials for this thing back in the 1970's. They used an iron to heat the compound instead of a hair dryer.
It’s a heat gun
So they haven’t change much since ..
Where can I find an skilled guy like you
I need mine replaced didn't know it could do that mad skills 💪🏾💪🏾
Awesome Talent
Wow amazing!
I didn't think it could be done so neat without replacing it!
it's just plastic of course it's no problem fixing it all you need is heat
Wow-well done!
Smooth brother
Dude is so damn good, even the car changes when he repairs something!
Lmao 🤣
He just layed out paper and tape so he doesn’t get paint everywhere 😂
What do you mean?
Beautiful work!!
Como eu queria um profissional dessa na minha cidade 😉
funilaria e pintura de couro e espuma foi a primeira vez que vi. Parabéns
Great job!!!
This is genius! I put black duct tape over mine 😂
You should post the full video, too many cuts could be a new armrest at the enf for all we know, but otherwise great work man
He posted a video of the whole thing with no cuts
すばらしい!
Great job 👍
That's amazing I didn't even see you switch out the old armrest.
because he didn't and you're just jumping on the bandwagon. Dudes legit
LFMOAOAO
It’s really weird that cars manufacturing cars has billions but still does not have a way to solve this problem
素晴らしい出来ですねー😊
That's some mad -editing- skill 🗿
Q
Balasan53
Look at his new video proving yall wrong 🤣🤣 How yall look now: 🤡🤡🤡
Not like you can still see the scratch at the end if you focus really hard
bro fr said "nothin' happened here"
Hey bro, where did you get this kit from? I am one for vinyl repair.
I had no clue this could even be done! Well done man!!!
Amazing
Great job
Holy shit! That was amazing!
That’s pretty cool
Awesome dude! Craftsmen at work!
Fake
Wow great job!
I have no idea what I just witnessed, but that was impressive.
Lol. Yes
what this name? I need it to fix my car driver side handle
I am 100% with you
brilliant!
凄いテクニックよく出来たね!
After the video, Amazon delivered a new one 😂
When you destroy the armrest trying to repair it so you buy a replacement so you can finish the video 😆
