  • Dude, you gotta do a Prowler video! He was one of my absolute favorite parts of Spider Verse and there are literally no videos on him on CS-tv! I need to immerse myself in his character!

  • I really wanna give this movie a go but every time I try and watch it the animation makes me uncomfortable. Like it feels like my brain is lagging watching this shit. Which sucks cause I’ve heard it’s really good

  • They should make a spider verse movie Tom Holland as the main character And Tobeyand Andrew Garfield and all the characters from 1983 Spider-Man Japan spider man

  • Oscar well deserved

  • Great video, great movie!!!

  • you can say it. better than ALL the spider man movies...well, except spider man two, the one with doc ock

  • Nah man, hands down the best Spider-Man movie yet!

  • Was the best Spider-Man movie for me! Interesting plot and I laughed so hard. lol

  • one site said this is better than the dark knight

  • Remember when everyone said this movie was going to be terrible?

  • I wish I had seen this in theaters, but I kept putting it off until eventually I was out and I could watch it at home. Having seen it now, I can easily say it's one of my favorite Spider-Man movies. Of course, I never really cared for the Sam Rami Spider-Man movies and I don't think anything needs to be said about Amazing Spiderman. Now before the Internet comes to crucify me, my only real problem with the first two Sam Rami movies was Toby Maguire himself and aspects of how the character of Spider-Man was handled. Toby is to reserved and quiet to do Spider-Man justice in my opinion and it seems the writers latched on to only one aspect of his personality: Peter being absolutely miserable with the whole world shitting on him. While that's certainly an aspect of the character at times, it is in no way all there is to him, most of the time he's using over the top jokes and sarcasm to throw his enemies off, and Toby never sold me on that.

  • Tbh this is THE Spiderman movie. This might actually be the best movie I've seen, or atleast one of the best. Also how can you say bad things about ma boiii *THICC* Kingpin?!

  • I don't know what you're talking about. Everyone had extreme expectations for this.

  • The movie was great, but *man* what a segue in to that ad spot at the end! Didn't see that coming! ;)

  • Well I love the movie, but you put the one part of it I hate in the thumbnail

  • I thought Peter B. Parker didn't want kids with MJ because he was afraid of having screwed up spiderkids

  • Believe me when I say this: Watching this movie without having all the information form reading comics is the best experience one can have with this movie. So many unexpected moments. Please people! Don’t watch these kind of videos before you watch the movie. In the past I thought about starting to read comics. But this movie taught me how amazing it is without it. I don’t think comic book lovers appreciate the movie as much as someone who knows nothing about origins etc.

  • I want Spider-Man noir series. Nic cage dose the voice. It’s a mystery/angst/comedy. Nothing about the tone changes. I want a penny Parker anima, action/adventure/mecha magical girl show. Nothing about the tone changes. I will watch every episode of spiderham, because no, there is nothing wrong with cartoons. I want Spider Gwen, she is bad ass and adorkable. Watching her come to tums with her issues of making friends can be dealt with her friendship with miles hopping over to her seres. Continues too be the best ballerina like no one ever was. And... just... more of miles please? This version please. He’s the best and I love him. I want him to continue having adventures, but don’t let him be shy too visits the other universes. Hell, have side effects occasionally open up and need too visit and solve some problems. Have fun. God please, don’t stop now!

  • Legends say he hasn’t tie his shoes yet

  • The second Spider-Man in spider verse IS OUR PEATER!!!! FROM EARTH616!!!!!!!

  • 5:16 hes not A Peter Parker...hes Peter B Parker...get ur facts straight

  • This is totally the best Spider-Man movie. Definitely better than the more recent, twink-ish incarnations of Peter Parker and his movies. And I don't know about other people, but I'm kinda sick of Parker. I knew I was gonna like this movie as soon as I found out it's about Miles. I wasn't sold on the whole Spider-verse idea and I wasn't sure about the animation style but now that I've seen the movie multiple times I can say that it's even better than the early 2000s Spider-Man movies.

  • "You haven't seen pointing until I'm through with you"

  • Isn't it interesting how many similarities there are between Mahershala Ali's characters here and in Moonlight?

  • This film is nothing short of excellent!!!

  • 5:15 "After all, he's just 'a' Peter Parker." No, he's B. Peter Parker.

    • Peter Parker’s middle name in 616 is Benjamin.

  • It is easily mine and my kids favorite Spiderman movie. My 6 year old asked my to put on Spiderman and when I put on homecoming he said "NOooo Miles Morales!"

  • That transition/'segway' at the end... *perfect*

  • I don't have a PS4, so Avengers: Infinity War and Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse is my Spider-Man fix in 2018.

  • The way they flipped what it means to be spiderman tho. From "with great power, comes great responsibility." Miles is told "you're the best of all of us, you're on your way, you have a spark, you can do anything, you won't know, it's a leap of faith." Miles great fear is accountability like the book I. His school

  • I had a hard time buying Peter's voice at first, but seeing him as the janky version of Peter, I got over it.

  • Am I the only person who didn't like this movie at all? I love Marvel and the telling of these kinda of stories, but this felt like a movie made for children and a movie that tried to introduce 15 side characters and way too many villains and also glaze over plot points that more time should've been spent on. Also, I don't see anything special about the animation. I'm just so confused.

    • Maybe I just need to see it again, but none of the characters got a chance to shine and none of them surpassed the type of character work that I would expect from a child's point of view. The comparison of peter parker to nick miller just isn't there. The voice is the same, but nick miller is a much more intricate character. All of the character work seemed surface to me

  • that was the smoothest transition to a sponsor

  • king ping is not that motivated because of the sign that spider rules

  • I hope we see more of the prowler in Miles future movies in stuff like flash backs.

  • It shouldn’t work, BUT IT DOES! AND IT HAS NO BUSINESS DOING SO!

  • peter porker is a talking spider with pig powers what are you talking about

  • There was an easy to miss joke with peter porker's origin that killed me: "I was bitten by a radioactive pig".

    • David not just a joke. It was a scene in his comic book. (I’ve been doing some research). Peter Porker was a spider that was bitten by the pig mad scientist that is his world’s Aunt May.

  • Spider ham has the best origin He was a Spider... That got bitten by a Pig and he got transformed into a Pic but he still had his spider powers

  • What is wrong with you people ? It was a good movie but it wasn’t great infinity war was better

  • Shes called spider-gwen

  • I think that Into the Spiderverse did follow the pattern used by the MCU in an important way: it focused primarily on three central characters(Miles, Peter B., and Gwen) introduced them and their personal issues one at a time(Miles doubted himself, Peter B. couldn't deal with being someone other then Spiderman, and Gwen had built a wall around herself) so that the audience could get to know them, and then showed how their getting together and interacting helped them start to overcome their problems(Miles was starting to believe in himself, Peter was reconnecting with MJ and Gwen was looking fondly at the selfie she took of herself and Miles).

  • I didn't even like spiderman that much when i saw spiderverse but damn do i want to get into it now bc it's so good even the second time around

  • 8:18 'felt like i was watching a movie that almost had no right to be as good as it is' GOSH my words exactly! i refused to believe that spider verse had any hope of being a good movie, right after watching it i even refused to admit that it was good and everything was a spot on, but now i watched again already because it's simply amazing !

  • SO WITH ALL HYPE I THOUGHT I WAS GETTING GOLD. AND WHEN I FINALLY SAW IT. ITS TOLERABLE AT BEST I MEAN JUST THE WAY FISK LOOKS IS ANNOYING ENPUGH

  • Just saying...Peter Porker is a spider with pig powers...

  • Uncle Aaron being the Prowler was the best twist villain we’ve had in a while. It seems like movies have been trying really hard to have a twist villain, but most of the time it was just too obvious. I think the fact that he seemed like a background character at the beginning of the movies helped to mask him.

  • So none is going to talk about the sound track

  • Best Spider Man movie, I don’t care Spider Man 2 fans

  • Is the background music toward the end from "Night in the Woods?"

  • The question you didn't answer was..."Did Into the Spiderverse deserve the Oscar for Best Animated Film"?

  • Exceed expectations: earn 2 majors with 3 minors (~180 credit hours) within the normal 4-year time span. Hopefully, I'm chosen to earn funding for a masters degree as well. (why did I choose to torture myself? IDK)

  • Into the spider verse is a great Spider-Man movie but I don’t think it’s the best Spider-Man movie

  • Did anyone else cry when Miles’s uncle got shot.

  • I’ve watched this movie about 98 times with my boys and can’t stop watching 🤷🏼‍♀️ it great!!!

  • Best Spider-Man movie ever made

  • I don't know if you've been told this, but you gotta be the the king of segue.

  • Uh... It's better than Spiderman 2. It's the best Spiderman movie.

  • ... *_hey_*

  • This movie is so overrated. They threw everything in but the kitchen sink and it was pure kiddies.

  • Listen, everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but I had a friend who said the animation sucked... and that is the closest I’ve ever come to murder

  • Lol, he's a talking spider with pig powers.

  • When my brother first showed my the trailer, I was like "Oh uh ok" After I saw it, I was blown away. I loved every detail of the movie. EVERYTHING. Best movie ever 👌🏼

  • "It just works" todd howard

  • I would LOVE to see something new about Spider-Ham.

  • still sad that OG Spiderman was killed

  • This was the most visually beautiful movie ever it literally defines the phrase every frame painting.

  • When you said the directors made LEGO and 21 Jump Street it all immediately made sense, geniuses

  • I think it’s pretty incredible that they managed to fit in 3 important and impactful character arks for people in 3 different stages of life, Peter and having children and a marriage, Gwen and allowing people back into her life after a serious loss, and Miles in becoming more confident and driven. Although Peter and Gwen’s arks are secondary to Miles’s I still found them impactful

  • My favorite scene in the whole movie has got to be the burger scene. The dialogue rolls so naturally and it's hilarious but you can start to sense how disconnected Peter is from being Spider-Man and his current unwillingness to have kids

  • I really liked the movie. I've seen it twice, but I was getting sick of people praising it all the time without mentioning the flaws as if it had none. The villains were the biggest problem for me and I'm glad that you mentioned it.

  • Haven't actually gotten into spider-gwen yet. Does she have the same "animal attraction" to "bad boys" like her 616 counterpart did?

  • Fucking awesome insight man! Well done. Looking forward to any follow up on these characters

  • Talking spider with pig's power

  • This is my favorite Spider-Man movie. It had so much more authentic emotion than almost any other superhero movie I’ve seen. If it hadn’t won Best Animated Feature, I can’t even imagine what would have beaten it.

  • Why does a character that fights drug dealer and crimanals listen to musical artist that glorify criminal behavior? Nicki, Wayne, Post... What a fucking joke. Im expected to belive this is a kid of genius level intellect.

  • Sorry dude but you got it all wrong, Spider ham isn't a pig with spider powers, it's a spider with pig powers smh

  • It was the best

  • “Not bad kid” gahhh the tears man.... what a great spider man movie 😊

  • I personally prefer this movie a LOT more than homecoming

  • If you wanted more about the villains, y'all were going to complain about it being too long. Let's just appreciate this masterpiece please

  • Sony pictures animation: goes from the Emoji movie to this oscar winning Spider-Man movie. Has Sony finally learned? With Into the Spider Verse being a hit, Venom being big too; I think they've redeemed themselves.

  • This movie was amazing. The pacing, the humor and the character development is amazing. Middle-aged Spidey was hilarious in all of his cynical glory, but was also calm and reassuring whenever he got serious. “Gwanda” is strong and hot; Peni was extremely cute; and both Noir and Spider Ham are over-the-top fun. My only real complaint is that we never get to see Peni win with her robot or Kingpin getting to bear-hug Gwanda, but that’s just nitpicking.

  • Spiderman into spiderverse might not be the best spiderman movie but it is one of the best animated movies

  • Squarespace.com

  • you can't compare daredevil kingpin and spiderverse one

  • Doc Oc was a great character though.

  • I thought the movie was popular because of Miles, being a black superhero and all.

  • If you want to follow the rules of this world as well as the movie should of than the food old Peter ate that absorbed into his body would start glitching out after he returned home, removing pieces of himself.

  • It isn't possible for this to start a Miles franchise cause the spider that bit him was from a different dimension and from the rules of this world we know that things can't exist outside their native dimension. So whatever that spider injected into him to change his DNA can't exist in that dimension forever. Soon after the movie ended parts of Miles DNA should of started glitching out of existence leaving him deformed or dead.

  • He ain't a talking pig with spider powers, he's a talking spider with pig powers

  • That segway into the sponsor tho

  • Uncool. Always 'announce' when you are switching to salesman. Never just try and sneak the add in....

  • You're missing the fact that its Spider-Man and not the Justice League. Spidey rules!!!

  • If this isn't the best spider man movie, then what is?

  • One detail I absolutely love about his "becoming spiderman" scene (spoilers): When he jumps off the window, he breaks it, because his hands are still stuck to the glass. Why? The movie establishes that he can't let go without relaxing. He's still terrified. But, he's taking a _leap of faith._

  • It has more than one spiderman what else could you want

  • I honestly think the Spoiler-y villain might have been one of the better ones. The clues are subtle but there - the show they are watching at Miles's school, the eagerness that they have at the thought of watching Spider-man glitch out of existence, the way they are willing to help Kingpin reach his goal even though they know it won't really work, just because they want to see what will happen. To Miles, it had to have been like finding out Mr. Rogers was secretly evil or something.

  • Fun little reference, the Peter Parker that is Miles' teacher in the movie, is supposedly from Earth-616 (or the Main Marvel Universe) according to the monitors when they first activate the portal. This is significant, because given all the shit writers have put him through, it's no wonder he would end up like this, and its a perfect parallel to the perfect Spiderman we see from Miles' universe, which seems to me to be the ideal version many people picture when they think of the character.
